I think wolf has it out for Hamilton after the Massi robbery. Hamilton could not understand why wolf didn’t fight for him or appeal the max controversial win. Since then Hamilton feed back on the team has gone on deaf ears for last three years. He turned out to be right on the design flaws and wolf looked bad.Then comes contract negotiations and wolf jerks his chain to show him he is in control. Hamilton realizes he has been demoted and leaves. Who gives up an ace driver. This speculation on my part for what its worth.
