Tekken 8 (鉄拳8) is an upcoming fighting game co-developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Arika and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The eighth main and tenth overall installment in the Tekken series, the game is set to be released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
According to director Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken 8 gameplay will focus on "aggressiveness" and will have a new "Heat" gauge system, in addition to returning gameplay features from Tekken 7, such as Rage system-based attacks, with the Rage Drive having been separated and reworked as a Heat system-based move known as Heat Smash, leaving the Rage State that can only have an access to use Rage Art once more like prior to the Fated Retribution version of Tekken 7. The gameplay will reward aggressiveness rather than those who "turtle up". Similar to Soul Charge state from Soulcalibur VI, the Heat State grants not only chip damage and additional move sets, but also changes the properties of some characters’ move sets, such as a heavy guard break. Fighters can also dash cancel their designate moves into the Heat State, similar to MAX Mode from The King of Fighters series. The Heat State’s timer can be stopped if fighters’ move sets are being used.
There will also be a focus on stage destruction, character reactions to these, and making the gameplay enjoyable to watch as well as play, since Tekken is now considered a high-level e-sports game. This new system was based on reception to the predecessor. Tekken 7’s “Screw” damage property was originally going to return in this game, but it is ultimately replaced with a newer juggle combo extender system that puts opponent into a ground-bound-like state upon falling backflip to the ground quickly - similar to Tekken 6 - whether the combo extender be a launcher or a knockback. When guarding against a normal state’s heavy attack, or Heat State characters, fighters will receive a chip damage that causes their health bar to become regenerable. However, unlike the Tag mode-only health bar regeneration system from Tekken Tag Tournament games, fighters’ recoverable health can only be recovered by attacking the opponent.

I think t8 Kazuya is gonna be stronger than Jin story wise. Notice how he taunts Jin with a passive grunt like he's telling him "show me what you've got boy" while Jin stares at him with killing intent in his eyes that doesnt phase Kazuya at all
Kazuya has taken constant Ls from Jin. I think the only one of them to beat Jin was Heihachi in Tekken 4. From that point on Jin is pretty much undefeated unless I’m forgetting something
@@brandonament832 Kazuya and jin have only fought once story wise and that was back in T4. Remember Kaz took constant L's from heihachi as well but finally found the power to beat him. The same can happen with Jin
@@brandonament832Heihachi never beat Jin. He had Jin jumped by endless Tekken Force members and then just chained him up. Jin beat him earlier on in the tournament if I remember right.
@@brandonament832Kaz and Jin only fought once. It was never stated what took place other than Jin won. Pre Kaz and heihachi fight in Tekken 4 or after Kaz loses to Hei if you look at the picture of heihachi talking to Kaz he mentioned “let me take you to your son”. Kaz has a shocked look on his face. It’s not clear or mentioned if he even knew he had a son. This is looked passed by many. If Kaz was dead how did he know he had a son when Jun went into seclusion? The game was retconned but by the time Kaz was revived Jun was gone. Heihachi didn’t even know about Jin, Jun said to Jin if something happens find heihachi. Jin assumed Jun was dead it was never stated Jun was dead but missing. Even harada said he never said she was dead but missing. Fans said she was missing no namco promotional material ever stated she was dead. On topic we don’t know if Devil interfered with Kaz during his fight with Jin. Kaz is seen taking over Devil it’s not clear if Devil interfered causing Kaz to lose. Kaz didn’t transform to Devil with Hei and he lost outright. This was the same thing in tekken 2. I forgot where I was going with this F it 😂

Nope Jin knows that the world will never know peace if Kazuya still breathes so he needs to kill him to “save the world” and End the Mishima bloodline but now that Jun came back and makes things difficult for Jin since she wants to save Kazuya from the “Evil side within him” so she actually Goes against Jin who has no other Choice to defeat without killing his mother for the world’s sake and maybe ending the Mishima Saga
And knowing what was happening on the first trailer/teaser Jin successfully defeat Jun since he was fighting Kazuya on that stormy stage with his Mishima x Kazama style gi making it the final fight of the story
@@mbambalehenrydanielmakangh519or the teaser was the beginning of the story. Then It got interrupted. I doubt the producers will end mishima saga just like tha. We still have Know if the Hachijo clan still active. They are source of the Devil gene. Then probably in Tekken 9 we could have kazama clan (angels) vs Hachijo clan (demons) next.
