I like how most of these intros against Devil Jin is the cast basically telling Jin to get a grip and wake up.
Devil Jin is like Dark Link or Goku Black. The black to the white of the main good guy. The Yang to the Yin.

That Alisa Vs Lars dialogue is the biggest lowball I’ve ever seen. And it’s above Jin Vs Jun, and Asuka not interacting with her relatives outside of the story.
They are supposed to be distant relatives given the fact that Asuka didn't know shit about Jun and Jin's existence for most of her life prior to around Tekken 4, 5 and 6's time
I clicked on this video specifically for Alisa vs Lars and was very disappointed
Well from my understanding of Tekken lore, when Jun got pregnant with Jin she went into hiding so nobody could bother them. There's a whole reason besides Orge on why she did this but it would make sense why Asuka doesn't know who Jin is because nobody in the Kazama family knew that she even had a kid.
Love how all the fighters can understand each other when they're talking in different languages

King has his own little storyline going on, he's not closely related to the rest of the cast really

Because Paul clown character he’s not worthy Kazuya’s rival he have interaction with his main enemy - Kuma

I love how characters speak their native languages and they somehow able to understand each other
And then there's King who only roars in Mexican
And Dragunov, who grunts in Russian
I think there are talking in one common language only,for example say English or maybe Japanese but for our understanding of the characters they are talking in their native languages and subtitles are provided 🤔🤔

I'm one to prefer everyone just speaking English, I just like understanding everyone instantly than having to read subs and take my eyes off of the animations. But I totally do think that it fits Tekken more than any other fighter. For Street Fighter, everyone is from different countries but it feels like it makes sense that they all know English. But for Tekken, it feels natural that everyone just speaks their natural language. So I kinda agree with this.
I’m so glad Dragunov knows somebody in this game.

I wanted more then 1 interraction with Dragunov, but other ones are still amazing

Dragunov could have had interactions with:
- Raven (UN agent)
- Bryan (both violent, non-talking characters. Plus they had synergy in Tag 2)
- Alisa (Dr. Bosconovitch, also Tag 2 ending where he tried to assemble his own Alisa)
- This one's a bit of a stretch but I'd say Devil Jin since in T6 he tried to use DJ's power for his military purposes.
So many cool interactions, but I feel they didn't have the time and manpower to spare lol

Kinda disappointing that there's not that many, especially with characters with actual relationships, like Kazuya vs Paul
Be glad theres even some. Tekken 8 is the only game with cool intros like this and mortal kombat. Sf6 doesnt even have 1 special intro or interaction between characters like ken and ryu
Kazuya and Paul are the antithesis of Ryu and Ken Masters

Kazuya never look at Paul as rival ONLY a obstacle to get over..Paul looks at him as one meanwhile kazuya can care less🤦♂️

Asuka is carried by Lili and Jun (quite literally), the discount Rashid and Leo also looks lame. But everyone else are charismatic indeed

Both Dark Resurrection and TAG are not canon, so the characters wouldn't have memories from them.
There is nothing to do with "canon".
Some intros interactions are just for fun : Jack and Alisa, Leo and Azucena, and few others.
Dragunov has only one with victor, not even Raven. He was totally forgotten by the devs.
Here some ideas of interactions :
- For Devil Jin, Dragunov could look at a photo of DJ and comparing.
DJ is angry that Drag looks him like that and says he'll kill him.
- For Lili, She could says a thing like : "Oh Dragunov, it's been so long we first fought"
Dragunov, with an annoyed look, only does a grunt. She would laugh and they get ready.
- For Raven, Dragunov is walking and Raven is standing in front on his path. He says something like : "I'll avenge Master Raven and Me with my New Ninjitsu" than engage Dragunov
- For Alisa, maybe a one similiar to Jack. Her head fall on the ground, Dragunov crawls, takes her head and gives her back.
It would be very nice I guess !
My favorite Bryan quote is: “NYEHAHAHAHA!”

I'm surprised Hwoarang and Paul don't have, at the very least, a special interaction involving their bikes.
Why? The two have absolutely no dynamic chemistry.
@@JumugiDesunra Neither does Alicia and Jack-8, Lili and Leroy, yet they gave them a special intro.Lili and Leroy literally only became acquainted in this game cause Lili got a cat named salt. Before that they never interacted or even knew each other existed.

The Reina and Lars interaction is a bit different than what was shown. Lars always goes after Reina's comment about the resemblance going "Huh? What do you know...?"

My japanese isn't perfect but I think at 0:30 Asuka says something like "Shut up. That's my line", not "Enough of your babbling."
Exactly what it means idk why games are beginning to either translate less of words or just change the meaning of them

Idk about japanese, but i do know italian and a lot of Claudio's lines in english aren't properly translated (they mostly get the meaning right, but they change stuff randomly, like with xiaoyu he says "questo è l'unico modo per fermarti", which Is "this Is the only way to stop you!", while in eng Is "It would seem...this is the only way to stop you"...they aren't that different, but why did they feel the need to put that extra bit at the beginning? Other lines, like "fear my light, o foul demon" are completely off)

The fact that they gave Panda an interaction with Jin/Devil Jin instead of Asuka is mind boggling... she's a Kazama for crying out loud. She's gotta be deeply involved with Jin. Not even with Jun.
They also butchered Steve and Nina's interaction. No Paul and Kazuya given they were rivals..
Steve was made to look like a problem child and Nina a stupid or bad mother.

I think it's amusing how the devs redirected Asuka to be a tomboy, to salvage her character... but here it comes Reina, a proper edgelady, tomboy that looks 50x better than Asuka, lol AND Lili has a new rival on Azucena, so it feels like the devs wants to erase Asuka, which is genuinely interesting because this character is popular among the japanese fans
This series being so serious and yet so unserious is what gives it charm
Im starting to see the issue people have with the localization in tekken. Azucena does not say what the subtitles say. She says that coffee is the number 1 drink in the world.
Yeah but the message in the subtitles is almost the same, so no issues here
That line is nothing, it gets the same idea across so it's fine.
Same with a lot of what Claudio says, the sentences have more or less the same meaning, but the translations don't really match, i think the most egregious one of his Is probably "Lurido demone, preparati!" that is translated as "Fear my light, o foul demon", while It actually means "Get ready, foul demon!" (/Prepare your self, foul demon), at no point was light even remotely mentioned
Edit: other lines are closer in meaning to each other, but at that point It makes you wonder why bother changing It, Eg "capirai presto perché vi serve il nostro aiuto" is translated as "I'll show you why you need our help" while It would be more correctly translated as "you'll soon understand why you need our help"
@@NdDMaisAzucena is the only one whose consistently able to keep the message because her personality is so one note there's no other way to change the message of "I REALLY LIKE COFFEE".
