- A packed field of stepladder finalists highlight the 2013 PBA Tournament of Champions. Jason Belmonte, Sean Rash, Tommy Jones and Osku Palermaa try to climb the ladder to face top seed Pete Weber, who looks to tie Earl Anthony's all-time record of 10 major victories.

I’m watching this again today and realizing Belmo had 1 major and today has 1 more than Weber
But Weber just won his 100th title and is in the hall of fame and has the triple crown and has 4 million made which only weber and Walter did, they r also the only ones with 100 titles belmo jas like not even 30 titles and hasent even made 2 mil yet,,,,,, DOES BELMO HAVE ANY OF THOSE THINGS????????????? I sure dont think so
@@Charles13033 but belmo isn't a complete butt-thole.....Weber is. plus Belmo is now Greatest of all time with 11 majors, and when he gets to butt holes age, he will surpass all he has done including those little titles....majors is what counts.

he aint dead yet. Im not sure how many times a 7-10 has been made twice in a PBA tournament but I doubt its been done three times.

THERE ARE AMATEURS, WHO BOWL ACTION AND HAVE BEATEN PBA TITLE HOLDERS IN 5 GAME SETS. WHAT THE PROS DO BETTER IS BOWL FOR 54 GAMES UNDER CHANGING SHOTS. VERSATILITY AND ENDURANCE. AT THE ACTION SPOTS I WATCHED [ UN NAMED] LOSE 2 OUT OF 3 TO AN UN KNOWN AMATEUR. THE UN NAMED PRO RELEASED THE BALL WITHOUT EVEN A SOUND, HIGH REV RATE. THE AMATEUR'S BALL WAS MAKING A THUD AS IT HIT THE LANE. THE PRO SAID [ THIS HOUSE SHOT ] IS NOT FOR ME. I SAW HOW STONG HIS BALL FINISHED. THE AMATEUR WAS PLAYING TIGHTER AND DIDN'T HAVE THE STRONG FINISH. THAT SAME AMATEUR WOULD BE LUCKY TO HIT THE POCKET!! AGAIN ANYONE WITH A 200+ AVERAGE CAN WIN IN A BEST OF 5 BUT WHEN IT'S 54 GAMES AND 24 GAMES OF MATCH PLAY, THE PROS. ARE UNBEATABLE. //. I MEANT THAT AMATEUR WOULD BE LUCKY TO EVEN HIT THE POCKET[ WITH CARRY] ON P.B.A. TOUR OIL OR HEAVIER PINS!!!!

I always enjoy watching PDW win titles. I also have had the full distinct pleasure of bowling with him at a Charity Championship in Torrance, CA. He is absolutely one of the greatest bowlers of all time regardless of what he argues about or says when he gets a strike. I love the 5 Time US Open Champion.
My mom and aunts and family pretty much hung out with Pete, dick, earl, Roth and all the big names in the 70-80s in Albany ny at shades lanes. I got pins and balls signed still

its easier for a lefty to pick that up, so I would say three times is not even close to the right odds to pick it up. For an amateur it would be way worse but even for pros 1 in 3 isnt possible.

I feel like Belmo was out of this one mentally the whole time. All he wanted was to beat Rash and he couldn't stop smiling the whole time. Never seen him not focusing and not really even care about it.

Actually, Pete Weber wasn't using two different bowling balls. He was an IQ Tour Pearl on both lanes, but he was throwing a pin up on one lane and a pin down on the other.
I've never seen a player get away with so many bad shots as Palermaa...
