Dude, ever since I got the X100V, I haven't used my other camera. I bought it with the idea of using it as a secondary camera to my X-T30 but now every time I want to go out and take photos, I always grab this one. Something about it just makes the experience more enjoyable.
the x100v is my favorite!!! great everyday 35 eq haha i know what you mean about brand loyalty. i made a video on how i thought the V was better than the xe4 and got so many mixed comments. same fujifilm community and everything. i was so confused excited to see more x100v pictures, i actually loved your x100f video/photos - it made me very interested in the camera
As an owner of the x100V and Canon R system with multiple lenses - I find myself using the x100V 95% of the time. I carry it with me everywhere. I also think that I am going to sell my Canon body and RF lenses for the Fuji Xpro 3 . No matter what anyone says a camera is only good if you have it with you and love to use it. I find that people are intimidated these days when you have a full size camera pointed at them with a lens that is larger than the camera body itself. My Canon RF Lenses are sharp but they just collect dust ... Keep up the good work and continue creating YOUR art. The world needs more talented artist like yourself.
I love this camera so much. I got it when it came out and fell in love immediately. Fast forward a couple months and I set up automatic photo sync with my phone and rekindled an already strong love for it. It’s so great having those photos with the film simulations so quickly to post or send to friends. The app is a bit frustrating but I promise it’s worth it.
Vuh you are literally my favorite person on TH-cam G.if I ever get to meet you man I will treasure that. You are my goat next to Kobe Bryant man.stay blessed and keep it REAL like always
X100V... DAMN!!! Hard work paying off. Good for you. I own the x100f and x100v. The x100v is my most used camera and I own dozens of cameras, digital and film. Been enjoying you channel. The grind is tough and you’ve been killing it!
Great to see that you’re enjoying the X100V. I loved my X100F, but had to sell it. If you’re still interested in finding the perfect walk around 35mm film camera, maybe you could try the Bessa R \ R2. Not as “perfectly” built as a Leica, but also not as expensive lol and I would say it is as good!
Hey Joe, have you upgraded yet? I also shoot the ‚T‘. Have it since it came out. Didn‘t upgrade to the ‚F‘ cause didn‘t see any benefit. Now I am thinking if it would be worth. I am still happy with my ‚T‘, it is still in great shape, works perfectly. I am a jpeg shooter, want to keep things as minimal as possible. The ‚V‘ would allow for a lot of incamera options. That would be my main point to get it. Maybe along with tilt screen and WR. Still unsure about it. Quite some money. I also have an X-Pro1 and funny enough, I really prefer the simplicity and minimalism of the x100. One camera, one lense. That‘s it. Documenting life. Cheers from Switzerland Mitch
@@michel559 Hi Mitch! I did pull the trigger and bought a V in March 2021. I love it! I am also a jpeg shooter. Sometimes native jpeg, sometimes I use simulations. I've been trying some simulates from Fujixweekly as well (Kodachrome, Ektar 100, etc). Such a fun daily camera for sure.
Such a small world. I've only been to MI once, and I just happen to have been in that bar behind you, and third man records across the street. All the way from England with an x100v :)
ahhh sick guy, the x100 line of cameras from Fuji is elite. My budget is a lot more lower so i purchased the x100s recently and goddamn. For 8 years old, this camera can shoot. Someday I will upgrade to the V
I love mine. Pro Neg Std “film” mode is highly underrated IMHO and with a polarizer creates a natural but rich look that suits a wide variety of subjects without dicking around post processing - don’t forget Death always hangs over you. I photograph for my own pleasure, not to get paid. If the lighting is crappy or something else precludes being able to take a satisfying photograph, I don’t press the shutter button. . .
Bought the Fujifilm x100f last year and kind of wish I would've gone with the V but I really enjoy shooting with the camera. Just need to get out more.
I just got a XT4 and I’m excited to start using that, and I definitely wanna get a traveling camera and I’ve seen the XE4 and I’m definitely going to cop that cause it comes out after my birthday. Great video btw
Fujifilm is definitely the system I wanna switch to but I'd rather get the xs-10 so I can have ibis but still want one these. Unfortunately they both outta what i can afford but it's what I'm aiming for
I just got my great grandma's zeiss nettar. Its a great everyday medium format camera. Its small enough to fit in my pocket but at the cost of only having zones focusing. It goes for 100 bucks or under on ebay for anyone who wants to try one out.
Honestly, I shoot Canon and was looking to Fujifilm for a digital “take everywhere with me” kinda camera. Was gunna get something on their x mount but honestly don’t wanna go into buying a whole new ecosystem of lenses and stuff. Wonder how you’d think the x100v compares to a Ricoh griii though. These are the two I’m debating on tbh.
Julian Nanez would love to try out the Ricoh system but as an owner of Fuji x100f, x100v, and xpro3 Fuji Rocks. I hope to get the Ricoh griii because of the size but I can definitely say that the Fuji system is awesome. The x100v is my most used camera, by far!!!
@@zack.fitness Ya, I think the compact nature of the Ricoh is really starting to appeal to me tbh. For jobs or anything that needs full frame quality, I have my EOS R. For street or just having a camera that's out of the way when with friends or family, the GRiii just seems to make a lot of sense. Maybe I'm starting to answer my own questions here but your insight definitely answered some questions I had about both cameras.
It's the perfect digital camera for documenting everyday moments like you mention. It also comes into its own during the autumn/winter months when you can just slip it into a coat pocket. It still doesn't fit into jeans/shorts pockets though which i'd love for summer. Maybe the next one will! Also I recently made some Fujifilm LR presets for free that are based around the in built custom profiles and they work great with the X100V files. Would be sweet if you tested them out and let me know what you think? Link below to the video which explains how they work and has the download link too.

@@ultimatechrisso6592 please explain where this logic comes from? The price point itself beats the x100v out. $850 body if not mistaken + the new Fujinon XF 27mm F2.8 coming in at $450 only makes it a $1300 set up. Same sensor, same viewfinder, same lcd screen, lighter weight. Why wouldn't you want to be able to change lenses as a plus and lesser price?

If y'all hurting for cash get the x-e4 when comes out. It comes with a 27mm f/2.8 at $1000 and you get the option to change the lenses. It might better investment for somebody
