EXCITED about today's video. We’re shooting with the Fuji x100v at night to test it’s ability in low light with the tele and wide lens attached.

Nice photos and good use of the converter and I like the statement about being prepared, which is real talk because it’s going to be shooting with those photos or if someone thinks they are going to come up on something, it will be just……..Ah blazing!!! Always be prepared unfortunately for the time and situation that we are in. I’m like you Vuhlandes, stay ready so that you don’t have to get ready. Keep it real and keep taking those photos.

Hi Vuhlandes! I've been following you since last year ever since I decided to take photography more seriously (with a Fuji!). I love the look of your portraits, especially how you love using wide angle lenses (16mm F1.4 for your Fuji, if I'm not mistaken). Your shots are inspiring man, truly. Made me want to train myself with wide angle lenses for portraits.
    Respect from Indonesia.

I just recently got an x-e4 and this little thing puts in WORK in low light, from what I've shot at least. I threw on a ttartisan 50mm f1.2 and it worked great 🤩. I probably won't get the x100v but I've been looking at the older x100 cameras like the f or t to use as an alternative daily carry camera

That was some real special early-morning cool-air atmosphere you captured there. Great off-the-cuff shot of the birds too. One thing I found with the X100V and the other X100 cameras, their leaf shutter makes shutter speeds really forgiving when shooting night photography hand held. I found I could get away with 1/4 second shots thanks to the lack of mirror-slap which helped out with ISO a bit, though maybe the pro-mist filter steals a bit of a stop from you, I don't know. Anyway, you killed it.

I’m not sure if you noticed but you can comfortably shoot handheld at iso 3200 while wide open at f2 in most night situations. With a steady hand you can get good results at 1/8 of sec, sometimes 1/4. Great video though. Take care.

I’ve been rocking the 100F for about 3 years now. I love the camera at night (sometimes I has to use focus peaking) at ISO 6400-8000 in Capture 20. Were you shooting wide-open F/2 or did you stop down to f/2.8. What were you exposures like?
