I know a lot of people are scared of credit cards, but I personally think everyone should have one because it's a super useful money tool! I got my first credit card almost two years ago and I think I've learned enough to make a video explaining how it works 💳
Hopefully this video levels up your finance brain powers and helps you guys understand credit cards better! I'll make more credit card videos pa so feel free to comment other questions you have 😄✨🍞

Hi Nicole, I just want to ask that which one is better to use BPI or PNB and on credit or debit. Since BPI and PNB are the only option for my salary to be received. This money will only be used to pay for my tuition. How much money should I spend, like I shouldn't spend everything that this card have for my tuition right? Is there a percentage limitation to spend? Does my question make sense lol

When I resigned from my previous work where we used BPI for payroll, I continued using my BPI debit card as a savings account. Around 2 years later, BPI offered me BPI Gold because of my stable and continuous transactions in my payroll/savings account. And that is me not owning any credit card before even a secured credit card.

I got a pre-approved cc from BDO with a six digit limit last year. I was 21 then and still a student (til now). Bc of that, I learned how to use it responsibly. It actually made my finance system more organized and I became more disciplined, contrary to the preconceived notions. I always pay in full before the due date. Good thing also, I got the No Annual Fee For Life 💖 Kaya wag matakot sa cc, you can use it to your advantage!

@@review010 I really didn't apply for it. BDO just sent me one without my consent lol 🤣 But as a background, I usually have a consistent cashflow, around 12k per week (got it from SEO freelance work). I don't store my money sa BDO savings acc kasi ang baba ng interest hahaha pero maybe my cash flow was their basis kung bakit pinadalhan ako ng cc.

Great intro to cc video! I really hope that more Filipinos get knowledge on personal finance so that the stigma against credit cards would stop. Credit cards aren’t bad, only people are bad :) if the user isn’t responsible, then you’ll really get into debt. I have been using credit cards for a few years now, I have never paid for any fees and always got my annual fees waived. I even have a few credit cards that are tagged as “no annual fee for life” and have some points saved up for free roundtrip flights once more countries open up for travel. Looking forward to more credit card videos cos I’m always eager to learn. Thanks, Nicole.

I used to fear credit cards because of the interest charges and annual fees. However, now, I feel more financially literate.

My first credit card was offered by the bank since may savings account na ako sa kanila. From there, sunod sunod na yung approval ng cc application ko. From 1 credit card, now meron na akong 7 cards. And yes, I use them wisely.

Hi. If I get a credit card but don't use it or spend the credit at all, will the bank waive the credit they have on my account or not? I'm just curious if the credit just stays there until I decide to use it.

How does the refund system works?
Example if I pay for something in amazon, but then cancel it, but I see it on the billing
