Crown and Cushion is my local,.thank you for featuring the old pub. We always called the crown and anchor 'the jinglers',.as most locals.know it, shame as it was a very rocking pub a few years ago. Havent used the royal oak in a while as old landlord/lady were very rude but agree it looks great from outside
wahoo - i'd never usually watch something like this - but to see my dad just behind you there 'up the Jockey, playing darts' was fab. This vid will make his day. (He's been very poorly - so it's great to see him start getting back out to the boozer coincidentally when you visited!!! Fab!)
Great video, cheers buddy. As other comments have said, do stourbridge wollaston area etc. You also should check out the Bathams pubs too, lovely beer me mon
Desi pubs are so popular that I reckon without them a lot of them would likely not be open. If its proper beer you want you want then as somebody already mentioned Wordsley, Amblecote & Wollaston is a MUST.!! Infact Wordsley has a Bathams & a Black Country Ales pub next door to each other!!!😂
The pub's in Ironbridge are the best because the are loads, plus when you were in the Royal Oak in newton street West Bromwich Irish Declan served you, because it used to be my local 👍
I was dreading you going to West Brom, I'm from there. You did, somehow, make it look reasonable. I think it's become pretty much a shit hole but you can't beat the people. The Royal Oak, and Crown and Cushion are two of my locals, if I'd been there I'd definitely bought you a pint or two. All the best.
Can’t believe you missed out the Sandwell and the billard hall in West Bromwich the two main pubs and the Sandwell is a craft union which you said you love
@@thegreatbritishpubcrawl you know what I’m not going to lower myself to say anything negative about your reply as you were clearly shook by it guess trying to help someone clearly didn’t pay off this time
They've literally got a plaque and award with a newspaper article on display with a presentation from the mayor about the first ever Desi pub opening and being them...
Yes…You really have got to go to Stourbridge,Wordsley, Amblecote and Wollaston! You will love the selection of pubs there.
The Vine's a cracking pub, one of the reasons everyone loves West Brom away, perfect for a pre-match beer

Great vid. The Coach and Horses is literally a stones throw from my house. And you're right about the Royal Oak. That place is a little gem!
A walk through West Bromwich on any given day will explain why virtually every pub there is a desi pub.
Great vlog m8 subscribed 👍🍺🍺🍺
Welcome aboard!

'missed out?' I made it to TWENTY FIVE PUBS... and lost about an hour waiting around Oldbury for that one that was closed... I'm not super human...
I do kind of know what he means though, they are the two 'main' town centre pubs

when you coming to cumbria
Prince of Wales was not first desi .as I remember it was the vine
You only have to check Google to see that the Prince of Wales pub wasn't the first Desi pub..
