I was able to use that throttle cable on a Mikuni carburetor by snipping off the stop-end and replacing it with a tiny lead fishing sinker, bite-on style.
A really nice mod is to make an engine clamp bar. Using 1" x .5" x 6" long bar stock, drill and tap your holes on the adjusting slot centers. Then place the bar beneath the engine mounting plate and pass your bolts thru the engine, the plate and thread into the bar stock. That way, the engine can be moved using only one wrench.
Because of what I'm going to do by putting a predator 670cc engine would it be safe for me to cut the frame to fit the bigger engine mount for the predator 670? What torque converter or clutch would you guys recommend because it's going to be a hopped up predator 670cc that's going to be making 40 horsepower and 50 ft lb of torque
Very good discrimination of parts and setting everything up!!! Your explanation was very helpful. I’m clearing a spot in the garage for my build of your “Vintage Kart”!!
I'm about to build my first drift trike and I was looking at the 6" live axle kit on your site. I don't see the spacers that you used in this video between the wheels and bearings in the kit, it just comes with lock collars. Are the spacers necessary or would the lock collars be sufficient to hold the wheels in place?
I built a Zip 250 superkart out of a box of parts once. 4 whell hydraulic dusc brakes. Two master cylinders full body work and a water cooled 250 Yamaha twin. I could build that fun kart your doing in a coma!
me and my friends want to build a go-kart from the ground up, would a kit like this one (to make a roller frame) really be worth the money for someone like me or should I either try and build the frame or find a used one? Thanks!
I really think finding an old one is always better. I'm stuck for axles because nothing is on sale so i have to build it manually 😭. Since I can't weld this is gonna be such a hard challenge. (I'm using and mixing multiple tutorials). Alright. Hope this helped you!
I do believe buying a rusty, used go-kart would be cheaper. I'm curious on the cost savings though. Let me know how much it costs you so that we can compare. Thanks!
For part 2, what mods would you like to see done to this go-kart? How about color?
Yellow
I'm a big fan of orange on karts. Definitely engine mods!
It would look great with an old school paint job. Maybe white with red & blue accents or perhaps orange or green with obnoxious metal flake.
I would say a dark red. And engine mods need to be made.
White frame
Black wheels
Blue accent parts
☝️😎
Super nice kit, saw it in person and was very impressed.
I'd like to see you race one at the GPS180 next year.
@@GoPowerSports don't threaten me with a good time!!!

Love to have the kart hanging on my wall it would look Awesome
What color would you go with?
@@GoPowerSports yellow 💛 with sliver flakes

Man if that shop that makes this frame you guys. Should have them make some Manco Dingo Gokart frames. Full brush bars and everything.
For Chizzle.
Awesome products!!!! How about adding a 48v 1000w electric motor as an option?
That would be cool!
Wow what awesome quality
Thanks a ton!

Depending on how rough you are, the lock collars do a pretty good job. But spacers would be the best option because they would not budge on you.
Really nice gokart
Cant go wrong with Manco Products INC I’ve had my 1998 Manco Terminator since it was new.
Amen Brudder.
Wow and it’s quiet I cannot wait to get a buy one with a 301cc gotta get maximum power
301 aint gon sound like that
what about the safety of running under vehicles? is there a kit to add on the go- cart?
I have a frame and a new motor where are you located I luv the work and video
Fort Worth, Texas
How far are you from natchez Mississippi
very cool, what material is the frame made of?
A36 Steel
Could you fit a small v twin on this like a 14hp or a 16
Haven't seen it done but I believe in you!
I love the kit, nice hardware, well thought out, the most important part to me, is how much is the kit?
In description
Is this kart any different from the one you eventually painted orange?
This is the same kart just with a few updates that have happened to this kit to make it easier to assemble.
how would you recommend shortening the pedal-seat distance for shorter drivers (kids)?
It may be easier to add a seat cushion behind the young driver. You would have to do some fabrication to move the pedals forward.

Thanks for sharing, let's see it!
help me build one 🥲
@AndamosPerdidos what do you mean. I'm building my own copy of a b7g sidewinder from the 1970s. I like welding and metal work.

Hey could these be shipped to sri lanka
How does this chassis fair with high end electric applications?
Haven’t tried!
is this kart a "beginner friendly" or a "just don't do anything stupid?"
Can it be both? Depends on which engine you put on it really.
@@GoPowerSports got it. What about the extreme vintage kit with the 212?
ATV tires and your biggest cc engine with a torque converter and live axel.
If you build it, they will come.
Awesome
Thanks!
what is the total amount that he spend on parts?
Lower the music volume, then re-upload. Boom, +1m more views.
How much?

Where do you buy those kit
Why not build a break kit that uses the sprocket as the brake disc? 🤷🏼♂️
Sprockets will get grease and oil from the chain. You won't want your brakes to get slippery and oily as well.
Hey can this be shipped worldwide? I live in India
contact us with a shipping address so that we may get you a shipping quote. sales@gopowersports.com
do you ship to uk
We do
Sprocket needs to be off the ground by about another inch. I use to catch rocks in mine and break chains.
Title is totally misleading. Should be something like "assembling a go kart kit"
Thanks for sharing. Which go-kart would you like us to build next?
Why is your hand bleeding?
Prise?
A ton of praise on this go-kart.
Pls wats ur price

GoCart's Fine, your Head's too big.😂
It is very expensive, it is cheaper to buy used and restore it.

Your audio is way way to hot!
Kill the freaking music or at least change it!!
