    Thanks for the easy to understand tutorial! I've had my machine for 4 months, but we are still not on great terms. But watching this, and other tutorials I realize that I am going for too big of designs too early. and don't use nearly enough stabilizers! I knew the issue was me and not the machine, but when you know nothing - then knowing what you do wrong is hard hehe. Going to practice a bit more on flat and relatively stable fabrics tho

    • @bayarmadethis
      @bayarmadethis  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s actually a common thing I see, people buying a machine and waiting for a while to use it. You’re not alone in that at all, haha.
      I’m glad I could be of help, good luck with your embroidery!

    Looking foward for new videos!
    Just a recommendation as someone who works for quite a time with embroidery
    Try to avoid using the spray, will gumm up your machine making dirt quicker, and helps with the needle wearing out quickertoo because the glue makes the needle "stick" to the fibers, wich make the needle hotter than the normal.
    Other thing, it is aways nice to hoop the entire stabilizer too, in your case your design is just satin stitches, kinda light so you can get away with it, but hooping a sheet of stabilizer makes super good to the stitch quality, and helps a lot when doing denser designs, shirt fabric is confortable/not dense this makes it worrible to hold any side tensions, this is why is important to have the stabilizer hooped too.

    Thank you for simplifying this t-shirt processing. My question is please.
    Once you measured via the hoop grid should the center chest logo /text be placed via the second hold center front?
    Hope this make sense. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks.

    • @bayarmadethis
      @bayarmadethis  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, I understand your question perfectly! What you have to take into consideration is the size of your design.
      A nike swoosh for example is small enough for the top one, but if your design is significantly bigger you’d have to use the second hold center. The reason for that is that it’s the center of the design, so it has enough space around it to embroider.
      Hope I explained it properly, if not let me know and I’ll try again

    Why do you use a dissolvable stabilizer on the front? If I were to use cut-away would I also be able temporaily glue on the back side as you did for the tear away? I am having to learn to embroider for work, so videos like this help. Thanks!

    • @delhooters245
      @delhooters245 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Dissolving stabilizer is used on certain fabrics such as fleece, minki or terrycloth that has some "body" to the fabric. It makes the embroidery stay on top, rather than sink into the fabric "body".

    • @monicajackson7266
      @monicajackson7266 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you use the water soluble stabilizer you don’t need to add any glue, basically the first few stitches that your machine makes will keep it in place.
      Just make sure that it doesn’t wrinkle because it’ll affect the result.

      Hi Diane!
      I generally use the standard +4 tension because I find it to be the best for this combination of garment and stabilizer.
      My advice is to try out different tensions whenever you work with a new garment and stabilizer to see what looks best. Eventually you’ll get a feeling for what works!
