The ASICS Gel Lyte 3 is also a great option, i own the SVD collaboration.
If anyone decides on the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66, I recommend going with the SD (Super Deluxe) version, its an upgraded version similar to the Chuck 70s. I own them in the cream and the quality and comfort is amazing.

I agree on this! Been wearing them for years and love the silhouette. Kind of a cross between the air force 1 and the dunk. They're stupid cheap too!
I think Sambas and New Balance 2002R are already on the way out. I see them too much. Converse are always a good pick. Maybe give Mizuno a chance. 😅

I have been wearing many samba since a kid but i stop buying that at 2011 because it's change shape to be more narrow than the older ones...similar to onitsuka and converse... I do have converse but only with double zipper since it is wider.... I do think post covid people are used to comfort sneaker since they have to work out during pandemic.... So NB will hold that top position for a while... All the 9 series of NB are great.... Even the fresh foam and fuel cell really comfortable..... I fell old 😆
My favourites would have to be the 2002r. Specifically the protection pack. Alotta people have been givin the onitsuka tigers love. Good to see another brand other than the usual.

Personally I think a pair of vintage German Army Trainers would be a nicer alternative to the samba. They are just more timeless and sleek looking.

I think Salomon XT6's and hiking inspired sneakers with EVA/foam materials will continue on the rise.

I've worn the same acne studios rockaways for the last 5 years, think I've seen 1 other person wearing them in person over this timeframe - just a great chunky trainer that is pretty low key and ages well in comparison to the likes of the triple S.

Been wearing Onitsuka Tigers for 4 years. Love em. Keep them next to my other retro trainers like Adidas Samba, Adidas Jeans, Gola, and Puma classics. These shoes will never really go out of style. I will be wearing them when I am 80 😹

I think they hype around New Balance as A brand will start to decline this year. New Balance are taking full advantage of the hype and pumping out models but this will lead to people getting bored and looking for other brands.

Adidas Sambas and the Arigatos are great choices. I don't know why you chose the New Balance even twice in this video. To me the most boring and mainstream sneakers along with the vans. Wish to see some new ideas not always the same stuff. Good video tho
