I like how you described what trails you are doing at the beginning and their level. A lot of MTB POV vids are guys bombing down trails with no description of the trail. I'll be at Stromlo next week. Thanks heaps for taking your time to make the vid.
I love stromlo we ride there every Sunday sometimes we go to majura though this run is great and I go on it when riding with my cousins as there just starting ( Also thanks for being so nice to that girl and pumping her up! )
Thanks a lot for this vid it really helped as a beginner in gravity riding and got confident enough for me to try some blue trails by the end of the weekend so thank you😊
First trip to Stromlo a couple of weeks back, was looking forward to hitting these trails, just happened to be a race on and Luge, Old Duffy were closed! Oh well, will have to make the 12 hour drive again in spring...
Oh no! You definitely need to come back when the whole park is open. Hope you got to experience some of the other awesome trails Canberra has to offer 🤘
Great video. Funny enough, I'm going to Stromlo tomorrow after finally recovering from breaking my hand. I think this will be 5th ride since breaking it in February. I feel so rusty too 😥 should be fun though.
@@Lizzie_MTB yeah it was amazing. I've never ridden anything like it. Definitely the best trails I've ever ridden. I'm from up near Coffs Harbour, we don't have anything like this.
For new mtbr's I'm a firm believer in if you didn't ride up your not ready to ride down. Since the shuttle started the number of riders I see on this loop that are completely out of their depth is crazy.
Glad to see Canberra has got on the MTB park bandwagon. Good for the enviroment good for fitness and makes it harder for property developers to chip away at the edges of these places. The ACT is a great place for cycling.😎
thanks Lizzy for such a good intro! taking little miss on the shotgun seat along the green trails for sure!!
Have the most amazing ride together! 🫶
That was a great intro for Stromlo. Can't wait to get down there and give it a crack 👌🏽
Thanks! You’ll have a blast!

Thanks, really appreciate it! The trails got a good soaking today so you’re going to be in for a treat 🤘

Thanks for the love! May see you out there one day 🖤
Headed there next week. Fingers crossed the weather is good!
Hope you had an epic Stromlo adventure!
@@Lizzie_MTB it was good actually. Always enjoy my trips there. Also rode sparrow hill and majura pines. I wish we had more like them in Sydney

Love this! Glad you had a good weekend riding 🫶

Nice work 👍🏿👍🏿 love this place 😃
So lucky to have it as my home trails 🤘
@@Lizzie_MTB you are so lucky, as soon as this lockdown is over and can travel around I'm def going back 😁
Fabulous!
Liked and subbed! 👍 with post notifications on!
Awesome! And welcome ☺️

Hope you had a great day! It's always tough coming back after injury but you will be back in form quicker than you expect.

I’m so glad you had a great day! We are so lucky here in Canberra, so many awesome places to ride including Thredbo in the summertime 🤘
@@Lizzie_MTB very very lucky! It's amazing here. Hopefully I get to come down again one day.
the first trail i did from the top was like a double black lol
That’s another way to do it 😂

I made a rule for myself that I had to ride up at least once during the week before I could shuttle - perks of living next door!
Awesome vid :-) do you know if any of that will be used in the 24 hr race in September?
I’m not across the details of that race but I’d imagine they’d likely to be involved! Good luck in the race 🤘
@@Lizzie_MTB thanks

So many awesome areas to ride here! We’re very spoiled! 🖤
Remember to keep elbows up trying to make a rectangle lizzie, will help with movement and cornering
Thanks for the tips!
Hi mate where do you climb is there an uphill or ride in the shuttle?
Thanks
There’s a couple of trail and fire trail options to the top. I usually take the fire trails that start to the left of the handlebar.
Thanks a lot your a champ
Go stromlo!
Love it!
Hi there. Did you shuttle that day?
Sure did. We shuttle a lot 😁
