IMHO - Mustard is the true gold - its versatility in raw and cooked form, for salad dressing to vegetables to mutton, is beyond compare....till the time rest of world enjoys its honeymoon with Olive oil, lets enjoy the mustard and laugh to ourselves on this gem that we got in culture.

I taught so many ladies to make khandvi( Gujrathi) or say suralichi vadi in marathi people. me and my wife use to prepre daily 4/5 kg of khandvi 18/ 20 yrs
My doctor has suggested not to wheat so sattu filling can be added in which other aata ? Can we make it in jowar or pls suggest anything else from from wheat ?

AMAZING! I really adore that you use your hands and NOT gloves! This fake hygiene using gloves which is so unsustainable for the nature causing so much rubbish in landfills as well as all the bisphenol and chemicals enter food causing cancer. And also the proper cast iron and not teflon! Keep our tradition going. LOVE IT and love from Germany!
Hey so nice to hear your feedback. See wearing gloves definitely is advisable while handling food in restaurants and also sometimes while handling meat products. The thing is if you are careless about washing your hands after handling meat, you can get serious infections, hence it’s advisable. However for home cooking, I wouldn’t bother as I for one is extremely cognizant of the importance of hygiene plus like you rightly said, it’s absolutely impossible to get the real taste till you don’t get your hands in while cooking 😉🥰❤️

No jau sattu is different, what I want you to use is chana sattu. This is only made by grinding roasted chanas that we eat. I’ve explained this in a small video, kindly check out the link given in the description
