    HI I have a question.
    How does your Sigma 1835 works on the AFC mode for XT3?
    I use it with my XT30 for toddler, when half press, it keeps the tracking ok, but as I press down for the shot, quite many times it will not take the photo. Instead, it will refocus or "Think" before snapping the moment "1-2 Sec after I press down".
    Have you experience the same thing? Or do you have a solution? The lens is good, but the delay is painful....

    Hey, I got two questions, Would Love to hear your opinion!
    1. Would you Say that the Fringer Adapter + XT-3 + Sigma 18-35 focuses well enough for Videoshoots and Sports photography?
    2. How do the Sigma 18-35 and the Fujinon 35 compare? (Sharpness, Brightness, AF)

      @randallherreraNyc  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      the 18-35 and xf35 are identical in IQ in my opinion.. of course the difference is f1.8 vs 1.4 .. which some may say Is a negligible difference .. but that is up to you.. As for video.. in my opinion it does acceptably well, but .. it is certainly not as good as native lens.. for video shoots be prepared to have a few focus strays.. for sports? I wouldnt use it for a once in a life time type situation is all I can say.

    as a canon stills shooter and a panasonic motion shooter, i appreciate your thoughts on the fuji system. the colors even on this vid are wonderful. if you don't mind sharing, what was your color profile in this vid? and the focus was great. did you use autofocus here? if so, what mode? great to see a fellow new yorker out in the real world. thumbs up.

      hi thanks for watching and for your comments , appreciated.. I the the color editing in LR,PS and some were with capture 1.. though classic chrome is my favorite for stills .. mostly eye af, and then some times the smallest single point for in afc mode.

    Hello Randall, the format of your videos is just fine, but I do know from reading comments on other you-tubers videos that people always ask what lens you were using (that part I understand) and what settings (even if your/their settings would be different because of lighting conditions or shooting style) for that shoot. Keep up the good work.

      Randall Herrera so did you end up trading it in for the 56? If so do you like the 56 better? Thanks!

    • @randallherreraNyc
      @randallherreraNyc  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kristiejochim9089 yes I went with the 56.. there are times when I regret it .. more often than not.. the 56 is great in low light, and for shallow dof.. but honestly I find i'm doing very little with f1.2 as far as dof goes.. I usually want the models face entirely in focus,, sure there will be a handful of pics where I want the shallow dof.. so yes I could easily set to f4.. but what I still lose out on is the 50 f2's quick AF , the 56 can be a bit lazy at times

      Randall Herrera thank you for your thoughts! I think I’ll stick with my 50. Maybe I’ll add a flash when I’m in really low light. Do you have any experience with the 23 f2 or 1.4? I’d like to have a 2 lens system. Some people say there’s not much of a difference in the af and others have definitely made the switch to the f2. I wish I had a store near me so that I could try them both out myself. Thanks
