This looks excellent. Thank you for such a good tutorial. I live in the north east of England so absolutely nowhere near you, but you've inspired me to undertake something similar so thank you.

Good job. Should I saving money and time by using a prefab wall from Wayfair ? 4PC x 94.5"x 24" 3D Acoustic Wood Slat Wall Panels at $400.00. Just a thought, good job, thanks for sharing
Yes, you can apply a small amount of liquid nails if you want, but I has held up for almost 2 years now. The paint also helps to hold it in place too (if you paint after nailing them to the wall)
The work looks nice, but. this is not a "how to video" ! You didn't show the process of measuring and cutting and slats and any other way you processed them before they were ready to be nailed to the wall, so nobody can learn anything from this video! Also, you nailed the slats to the wall and after that you painted them? Really? and you show this as example to others? Haha , no follow, sorry.
Not sure how you only have 800 subs, nice video! Definitely helped me generate ideas for my home office!

Thanks! Yes, you could consider that too. Lots of options out there now with pre-made slats. Most of them look really good!
How are those 18 guage brad nails going to hold that mdf flat against the wall?
so you just nailed the slats to the drywall? is that enough to hold them in place?
Yes, you can apply a small amount of liquid nails if you want, but I has held up for almost 2 years now. The paint also helps to hold it in place too (if you paint after nailing them to the wall)
do you just nail into the dry wall?
Yes. The brad nails hold it pretty well. You can apply a little bit of adhesive to secure it more if you want.
🔥
Thanks for the comment and watching!
total cost?
About $250 in materials minus the tools!
you could build the whole structure in your garage and install it on the wall with 10 nails
no bc walls and floors arent perfectly level you need to measure and space each board
not sure, good work for a DIY er
Thanks 👍
Too many references to Home Depot.
