►No Breadmaker? Use this oven version of this keto bread recipe: • The BEST Keto Bread EV...
Yes, I said this is the BEST KETO BREAD EVER! And I’m going to stand by that statement for this Low Carb Bread Machine Recipe. This Keto yeast bread (yeast bread keto) is the best keto bread I’ve tasted. It comes so close to regular bread but is a true low carb bread as the carbs are only 2.2g per slice! You get a full rise from this keto bread bread machine recipe, thanks to the yeast in this keto bread (that’s why I also call it a keto yeast bread). To add to the magnificence of this keto bread, is that it is a keto bread bread maker recipe - yup, it actually works in a bread maker (or a bread machine). Most keto bread recipes don’t work in a keto bread maker and therefore low carb bread machine recipe are hard to come by! This keto bread bread machine recipe is aslo so incredibly easy to make. There are just a few specific steps in this low carb bread machine recipe that need to be followed, but otherwise it’s simply dumping all the keto ingredients into the bread maker (bread machine) and pressing start! This Low Carb bread machine recipe is going to be the best keto bread you’ve tasted and your new go to low carb bread or keto yeast bread (keto bread) recipe…I guarantee that!
I have so much to say about this keto yeast bread. Firstly, we use yeast in the keto yeast bread, which gives it an incredible rise and heght. Yes, this keto bread rises just like regular bread loaf. Say hello to a full size low carb bread! Yes, we have to add some sugar to make it rise, but we use only 1 teaspoon of sugar for this keto bread recipe. And, the yeast eats up that sugar (honey) anyway, so you don’t actually consume those carbs (which is only 6g of sugar from the honey). And the incredible smell that this keto yeast bread has, is unreal! I couldn’t get enough of sniffing this low carb bread!
Then we need to talk about how damn awesome it is using a bread machine / bread maker for this keto bread recipe. Seriously, who knew making a keto yeast bread was this easy! You simply add in all the ingredients (in the right order per your bread maker specifications / bread machine specifications) and then press start. A few hours later and then you have amazing keto yeast bread using this amazing keto bread bread maker recipe.
This keto bread bread machine recipe works wonderfully for this yeast bread keto - and you don’t need to go and purchase and expensive bread machine or breadmaker. I bought an old breadmaker off craigslist for $10! And this keto yeast bread still came out perfectly. So don’t let the fact that this keto yeast bread needs a bread maker to create.

Just got my first loaf out of the breadmaker, and it is SOOOOO YUMMY!!! I made 2 recipe changes...added 1tsp baking powder to keep the loaf from falling as another poster recommended...worked like a charm! Also, did not add honey or regular sugar of any kind. The new instant yeasts don't need sugar to activate...they're already activated. I got a beautifully risen, delicious loaf that comes out an less than 1g carbs per slice!! WINNER!!!

I love this bread. I also use this recipe for pizza shells. I use the dough setting on my bread machine. I add 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder and 1 tbsp of pizza spice or Italian seasoning. I divide the finished dough into 4 equal balls and make four 12" shells. I bake in oven on 400 for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. You can then freeze these or use them right away for your very own pizza.

@@Rob_430 Thanks for your input Rob. I made many of these, although may have adjusted my measurements along the way. Everything turned out great until mid 2020 when it just wouldn't rise. I tested my yeast, tested different water temperatures and various other things. Nothing worked. I thought maybe it was because the room temperature was high at that time, so bought a thermometer to stick to the bread machine. Still no go so I even bought a new bread machine. The results were identical as the old machine. I stopped making it until the winter came. I bought all new ingredients and tried again. It was better, but still not right, so I have given up now. It's such a shame because it was great bread.

I tried this bread recipe yesterday and I must say I was blown away about how lovely it turned out. For a bread substitute this is the best Keto bread I have tried and in the last 2 months I have tried many! Last night I had a slice with butter and it satisfied my bread fix and this morning I made French toast, hands down this is a winner! Next time I am going to try using the dough to make cinnamon buns and pizza. It has a very nice flavor without the eggy taste that so many other keto bread recipes have! The best part is there is no quilt of feeding your body garbage and it is so easy to put the ingredients in the bread machine and walk away! I think 'The Keto King' is a Rock Star in the Keto world! I make this bread weekly in my Zojirushi Bread Maker and I don't have to heat the water or bring the butter to room temperature or mess around with anything! The machine does it all for me. I even add the honey to the same hole where I add the yeast. The only extra thing I do is after the second punch down in my machine, and after it starts to rise for the final time, I check the shape. If it's uneven, I take it out, pinch the creases and work with it a little to get a smoother, even shape. Pop it back in and it rises and bakes to a beautifully shaped loaf. Best keto bread ever, thanks to Diedra's Kitchen (the originator of this recipe)

I've made this bread several times in my $10 bread maker, and it's always great!! My weakness is baked goods, and with this, I feel like I'm cheating, but I'm not! I've advised my mom to not eat so much bread, and she tells me, "but I NEED my bread!", when I know that's not true -- she just loves it (I guess the baked goods weakness is inherited). So when I baked a loaf for her, I thought that she wouldn't like it as much as her store-bought bread, but she tried it, and told me, verbatim, "it tastes just like real bread!" So now I just tell her to let me know when she needs another loaf, and it's really quick and easy to bake for her, and she doesn't feel deprived. Neither do I. I've heard of people making pizza crust and cinnamon rolls with this, so I guess I'm gonna find out how to do those! Bravo!

Hi everyone. I have been making this bread for months and it is amazing. Thank you Keto King. I started to make some bread today and realised i did not have enough oat fiber. I remember reading a comment down below that instead of using oat fiber they used chia seed. i decided to use chia seed i just swapped half a cup of oat fiber for half a cup of chia seed ground up in my coffee grinder. I am absolutely over the moon because the bread looked and tasted exactly the same as the one i made with oat fiber.. It works for me because i found the oat fiber a bit pricey and the chia seed is so cheap and you get so much more for your money. Thank you to the person that put the comment down below

It probably had something to do with the heat / humidity, but since then I haven't been able to make a successful loaf.

I made this tonight after thinking about it for months. Finally today, I figured out how to shuffle things in my kitchen so the bread machine can always be out. I think it’s 3 years since I used it lol. It’s amazing bread! Real. Soft. Chewy. No eggy squishy sound. Just delicious. I halved the recipe as I have a smaller bread machine that does a 450g (almost 1lb) loaf. I’ll be making it regularly. It’s fabulous! Thank you!

@@bgueberdenteich5206 mine ended up dying, and I’m no longer doing keto, but since I had it out from making this loaf many times I continued using it for regular bread. To the point that when it died, I actually invested in a really fancy one. I’ve just moved house and am working out which appliances need to stay out and which ones go in the cupboard, and the bread maker stays out. The new one has a custom feature so this week I fiddled with that and created a program that’s just long rises, no kneading or baking. It goes for 5 hours total and makes an awesome batch of yoghurt, so now the instant pot can go in the occasional use appliance cupboard and the air fryer can go in the regular use appliance cupboard where the instant pot was. It’s all starting to work lol. The bread machine has become my most regularly used appliance other than the coffee pot!

I found this site and subscribed about 3 weeks ago. I watched the videos for both the bread machine method and the no bread machine method. I immediately ordered a bread machine, which arrived about 10 days ago. I wanted the bread because I love sandwiches and I'm doing a keto diet. This bread looked so good onscreen, that I was sure it had to taste good, too. So, I made my first loaf the day I got my bread machine. I let my husband and daughter try the bread to see how they liked it. This was a big mistake. Since then, I have had to bake a loaf every day, because they liked it so much, it is the only bread they will eat, now. Between us, we can easily polish off a loaf per day! Thank you so much!

I've baked a lot of it but haven't done any lately because there are better choices now. Using King Arthur Keto Pizza Mix produces a better loaf with less hassle. An entire loaf is 16 net carbs, so again, depending on now many slices you get it can be as little as 1 carb per slice. You can also use it to make two baguettes that are 8 carbs each.

Made this bread about a year ago, I was so thrilled, it was REAL bread. It made me sooo ill, turns out I am gluten intolerant. 🥺 I thought Keto was responsible for curing my IBS. So did some research and replaced the wheat gluten with protein powder, plus 1tsp xantham gum per cup, all in all I added 2tsp as the recipe called for half a tsp. . I also added 1tsp psyllium husk, shall omit that next time, made it too dry. I used egg white protein powder, left over from all the egg (memory foam) bread of the past. IT WORKED. I now have decent bread. I'm going to try whey protein next, as egg white powder is so expensive in the UK. May even try lupin flour. So gluten free peeps can make it too now.

I cut the yeast back to 2 tsp and made 6 buns. Oops, they rose beautifully on the counter, but when I baked them they ballooned to the size of large grapefruits. They colllapsed after baking (I put them back in 3x and made sure internal temp was 200°). Cutting revealed some massive air pockets but the flavor and texture were phenomenal. I will reduce yeast to 1 tsp next time and make 9 buns instead of 6. Maybe substitute 1/4 cup almond flour for some of the gluten.

My Dear Keto King: I just made my sixth loaf of this amazing bread, and want to suggest you try omitting the xantham gum. I’ve made two loaves without it, and it is more bread-like and far less rubbery. It holds together beautifully. It’s still a little chewy, but far less so. As an aside, I’ve been grinding my own flaxseed (golden) in my coffee mill, and the more powdery texture makes a finer textured bread that is golden brown. I have also used my bread machine for mixing/kneading/rising, then halving it, giving them a final rise in a parchment-lined pan, and baking the two loaves (I weigh them, abt 390g each) for 25 minutes at 340F (not 350F) / 170C. I am having French toast for lunch today (16/8hr Intermitted Fast) I'm going to make a few thin slices and see if I can make breadcrumbs. I debated slicing "as I go" vs slicing up the whole loaf and decided on the "as I go" method so I can adjust the thickness and I just don't keep walking around with a slice of bread in my hand! Stays fresher longer too. I put my loaf in a Debbie Meyer's bag. Sorry so long, but had to share :)

Hi Keto King - I have diabetes so I have changed your recipe to 90 g (3/4 c) Wheat Gluten and 120 g (1 cup) Oat Fiber and just because I don't have to wait for room temperature eggs - I use chia eggs (2 tablespoons chia seeds and 5 tablespoons water let sit for 10 minutes to gel) and instead of having to wait for butter to soften - I use 30 ml (2 tablespoons) avocado oil. Lastly, I have set up all my dry ingredients except flax seeds ( I ground up 3/4 cup when I make bread ) into baggies and store in the refrigerator so I don't have to measure each time - makes making bread that much easier. Today, I place my warm water into my bread machine container and put the container on a food scale to measure 7 ml of honey and then 30 ml avocado oil and then put my 2 T chia seeds as well as 5 T water into the bread machine container and the I ground my flax seeds and put that into the bread machine and finally dumped my baggie full of dry ingredients and started my machine. I did have to put a little more water - maybe a T - but in the past, I haven't had to put any more water. So if you would try this and tell me what you think - if it rises well in your bread machine please let me know what you think. Oh, I have found that a slice or two of this bread a day ( actually can eat possibly every 3 days) helps with undiagnosed irritatiable bowel syndrome - probably due to the oat fiber - thanks for this recipe

It could be the temp of your water. If it’s too hot, it will kill the yeast. If it’s too cool, it won’t activate the yeast. It needs to be a tad on the warmer side for best results. You should be able to stick your finger in it and it’s hot but not burning hot. I used boiled water, not hot tap water.
Also, this recipe is best if you let the loaf cool before cutting it.

I have had better looking loaves in the past and countless disappointments in people claiming to have found the perfect recipe..especially keto and low carb. We can condition ourselves to be satisfied if what we are trying to bake is not bad...If it is good then you are really lucky. Well this is one such recipe....outstanding...No one person that joined us for dinner felt otherwise.....Well done...this is a keeper......A tremendous bread that is dense yet light , moist , soft and tasty....Bravo

May not be the best for Keto bread, but it's the best tasting Keto bread. I made it as a loaf, then tried it out as cinnamon buns. I cut back on the Vital Wheat Gluten to just 1 cup, and added a 1/4 cup almond flour. The rise was just as good as the loaf. To roll out the dough I used just a bit of the oat (edited: used oat fiber not flour) to keep it from sticking, then I spread on the butter/cinnamon/pecan mixture, rolled it up and cut into buns. Baked at same temp and time. They were awesome!

I subbed lupin flour for half of the flax, not being a big fan of flax flavor.... still turned out, though I think next time I’ll pop the dough out after the initial rise stage to remove the paddle and shape the dough ball a bit.

Here's another interesting thing. I basically set my bread mode to "french" bread mode because most of the people using this recipe were using bread makers that took 4 hours, whereas my normal bread cycle is only 3. I had a pretty good loaf that last time when I found out the sweetener made a big difference in the rising. (I don't think the honey itself actually did anything but I'm only using 1tsp of honey). So today, I use one less tablespoon of swerve, but put it on the normal bread cycle... now the bread is rising and hitting the dang top of the breadmaker. Crazy!

Ok so I tried this recipe with a brand new bread machine and it ended up being a small lump of bread.
I think the yeast had a hard time rising in the machine so the next batch I raised the yeast with warm water and sugar like I would refuse with bread.once it was tripled in size 10 minutes, I placed it in the bottom of my bread maker I then added eggs and melted butter. I also sifted all my dry ingredients together and spooned that on the top of the liquids.
Well I can’t tell you how happy I am on how it turned out, it was so big, it almost touched the lid of my bread machine😍

Hey you guys! I made like 5 loaves and for some reason never rose at all. I realized there was one ingredient I kept leaving out because I thought I didn't need it, and that was the sweetener. I made this the last time with 4 tablespoons of Swerve and got a tremendously soft loaf of bread! So everyone who's having a problem with their bread not rising, try putting in the sweetener. In fact it's almost too soft to cut. (partly because the crust is like chewing on vinyl and I try not to put so much pressure or I squish the bread itself). Will have to get an electric knife for this! :-) I don't know why it needs sweetener but it really does! Thanks Keto King!

Okay, I've made four loaves as well as some pizza and cinnamon rolls using this recipe. It tastes so great! Better than Aldi's no carb bread (which looks like bread, has a bread mouth feel, and tastes something like cardboard, in my opinion,) I tried measuring and weighing, and with the weighing the loaf grew just a bit too big for my 2lb machine. YMMV. (That's why I originally took took a little dough out and used it for other stuff once it was kneaded.) It's a lot of ingredients, so now I'm making bread mix (all dry ingredients except the yeast) in batches of four, so I don't have to pull out all that stuff every few days. I just add the water and eggs to the machine then my pre-made mix, then the butter, and lastly the yeast. I think maybe the yeast could be added into the bread mix, but haven't tried it yet. I haven't been refrigerating the mix, but if I were making larger batches I might feel the need. I"m used to very thin crust pizza just to keep the carbs the lowest, but now I can have a regular thickness to pizza. I tried leaving the bread out on the counter, but it does get moldy if it is there too long, so now I keep it in the fridge. So good! I've tried it in two different machines with comparable results, just on the regular bread cycle. I did try once on the quick cycle, but the results were not stellar.
