That IS a pretty cabbage. It reminds me of a rose. I really like these beginning to harvest videos, all in one. Production skills are really moving on up with your videos, too! Been a subscriber for about 3 years now. Started while your guys were in Va. and had to binge watch for a while to catch up on your story in the beginning, but it was all good. I don't know which one of you does the editing. I suspect that this is a joint effort. You guys seem to compliment each other, well. This is the only subscription, I have, that I accept notifications from. It's kind of like having some really cool neighbors that teach you with regards to your garden. I appreciate this so much more than commercial TV and look forward to your newest videos. Keep 'em comin'!

I've never heard of this type of cabbage. It looks a little bit like Nappa cabbage. I don't have room to grow cabbage in my little patio container garden, but in a year or two I may create a raised bed and grow a head or two. Your seed to harvest videos of one type of vegetable at a time are incredibly well done and extraordinarily helpful. Thank you very much for these videos, and the amazing quality of photography and editing. Good health and happiness to you; hugs and kissies for Bing Bing.

When I watch a video, and see something that I might want to try growing, I quite
often, ironically, go to the Johnny's Seed web site and look it up. Anything I have
looked up, in it's description, they offer a "days to maturity" number. I think most
seed companies do. In this case, it says 68 days. If your concern is first frost, keep
in mind, that date for your area is an average, so a 1st frost date of Oct 15th, could
be Oct 1 - Oct 30. Last, cabbage is a Brassica, and cold hardy, so with care and
a little luck, covering plants at night if a frost is forecast, you might stretch that
out a bit further. Hope this helps. These Cabbage, and the Baby Bok Choi, are
already on my list for next year, and WILL be ordered THIS year. Not playing the
"We Are Out Game" again next Spring!!

It's common for new creators to start off making videos like It's a TV show and have long intros and endings but TH-cam grew so big because viewers like watching content not TV shows with intros and endings :) So I really like how you're getting more efficient with the videos. Now I'm learning how to grow spinach so I need to buy some blood meal. I live in southren Oregon but my daughter lives in Florida. I try to spend my winter months there with her at Green Cove Springs. She wants me to help her grow a garden so I'm sharing your videos with her. I'm curious as to what part of Florida you're located? It looks a lot like her area. They're concerned about the soil is so sandy. Is that why you grow so much in containers? God bless you both.

I am in the process of growing crepe myrtles and it is said that they like slightly acidic soil ( 5.0 to 6.5 ). My plan is to grow them in a large container for about a year before planting them in the ground.

I'm a new gardener and I started some red cabbage this year and from seed to transplant went well. I planted them in a raised bed about 12 inches apart with plenty of blood meal but they grew up in a stalk with leaves about every inch or so and never formed heads. What did I do wrong? Did I plant them too close together or something else? Your advice would be helpful.

They bolted from heat. Try them again this fall. They grow best in the fall
