I forgot to mention the new Nuppeppo soul core is super overpowered. It gives huge attack buff and it stacks with other attack buffs like tengen did.
I don't see an attack buff on the core. You mean the attack stat?
@@MrArjento The skill gives you the "berserk" status after you use it. Giant damage boost at the cost of increased ki usage and ki damage taken for 20 seconds
@@lendizzle22 Oh wow. I didn't realise cores can give you buffs when using it!
@@MrArjento Yeah, the only others that I know of that do something even sort of similar are the oni-bi cores with the element buffs
@@MrArjento Also you can farm Nupeppo meat as an item, which also gives you the same buff if you want to equip another soul core.

Well, they're not explained, I think; because they were in the first game... Also not explained. I think they're assuming people will figure it out. I love not having my have held, and figuring everything out for myself. Makes the discovery that much more of an accomplishment lol

Hey guys I want to maintain that you can temper active skill damage without a star effect it's about 4% and have at the same time a star effect active (skill ki dame, ki damge, melee damage or a stance attack damage) which is better than only having active skill damge 7% in my opinion. I did this on my new build.

You can still trade gear that was dropped pre expansion. You have to do it in way of the strong or lower though. Anyting past that it randomizes. Was a thing in nioh 1 too

There are all sorts of weird restrictions in the system. Id suggest looking at the old nioh 1 trading reddit. The game is practically identical so most of the rules still hold up
I found a pair of boots with 3 star effects.

I got a star effect for dex on a Kusarigama and at max fam it has AA scaling

@@JumpinProductions they were in the first game too... I was actually wondering if they exist in this game lol, so that's really helpful information. Only problem is, like you said, good luck getting one of those. I had like 700 hours in on way of the Nioh ALONE, with the abyss special effects and everything... I got like maybe 7 of the AA scaling, and only ONE that was actually useable for me. Then the dlc for 2 came out lol. Point is: to call them rare would be a VAST understatement. That dude is super lucky

I don’t use kusarigama, i was hoping i could Revenant trade with someone that has a star effect for Stamina or Strength on the Odachi
I got a switch glaive with AAA magic scaling. Haven't tested it and honestly don't plan to. It's such a damn hassle.
I found a sword with magic A scaling. That's about it.

Nuppo soul core for berserker rage it stacks with rage.
@@JumpinProductions thx mate, what guardian spirit would you recommend in my build. I just run around in high stance, with axe spamming strong attack and healing from amrita
@@lerne100 Lots of options, Make Ho secondary. Isanahami or atlas bear is good for damage. Yumehami and Kagewani is good for ki damage.

What exactly is a star effect? Does it go over to other items like the other ones?
They're like a boosted trait. The ones marked by the star icon aren't unique but ARE a lot stronger than usual. The star effect (as in the bonus, not the trait itself) won't transfer to other pieces and will disappear if you re-roll the trait. As far as I can tell the only "reliable" way to get them is forging and getting lucky.
They are called divine graces, and you can get active skill damage boost on your armor however the same stat that have divine grace will be stronger than the same stat and not being divine grace. A divine grace active skill damage on chest is roughly 5,7 % with max fam where as a none divine grace active skill damage is 3,9%. So there is a difference however kinda small.
Nope, forge them or find them. Savescum is your friend here.
Can you drop that attack bonus heart for me at strong abduction
I tried to reroll my soull core's with the big sudama but it doesn't work no more
It does but for some reason you also have a chance to get the kodama core too -_- just exit out and go back in should take you back to the last shrine you visited
can it reroll and give you an inheritable?
@@Scrabble12 it can't so i wouldn't recommend trading one that has an inherit that you want cuz it'll come back without the inherit

So Moonlight Snow Inheritable or Active Skill Damage Star effect?
What's the percent you get from the moonlit snow inheritable again? If it's more than 8% it might be one of the few inheritablws that's still worth keeping as its such an op skill and you just spam it most of the time with odachi. But even so active skill damage star is still probably better unless the inheritable is like 10%+

Which was a great game mechanic, it was ridiculous it was removed
Gotta say I like the nerfs. I have been challenged by the game for the first time since it first released. I legit struggled with a few bosses on DOTD.
Yeah, I agree. I finally feel like I HAVE to make a true build to succeed on demon. It's nice to be challenged, and produce God tier builds and skills in response
I used over 900 Divine fragments and no active skill damage
the inheritable are completely messed up. My untouched nin 4.9 gold becomes untouched ammo. Untouched magic 5.0 becomes back stab dmg! Really painful! But the untouched nin 4.7 gold remained same. WHY? It's like the game dev doesn't want us to have a good life.
Weird, had someone dropping a Dragon Dance and picked up 5 with no problem less than an hr ago.

@toptier sagat so because everyone uses the same spirit means am concerned? far from it.. the devs are the ones at are concerned thats why tengen got hit. what am saying is. it boring that u summon 10 ppl in and 9 of them are using tengen. why is it in game with so many/much builds to pick from the only spirit ppl use is tengen.. its boring. now after the dlc hit its much better. so many builds and spirits are being used. i hardly see tengen any more when i summon.
Idk why the developers make it so damn hard to farm. The ONLY reason for playing after beating all missions is to try builds and optimize. The idiot developers of these types of games never understand this, so make farming annoying as hell.

How can you argue that they nerfed Honda too hard while contending they're the strongest clan still? If Honda is still potentially the strongest clan in the game at 80% / 7% then you can't, in good faith, think the 12% would be appropriate. If anything, it needs to be nerfed again. There should never be an "obviously" strongest clan for the majority of end-game builds. Maybe Honda would be more in-line with the other clans if they crushed it down to like 30% / 5%.
If they do that no one will use it, so what's the point? Instead of endless nerfs, why not buff other clans to make them viable?
You are horribly misguided. The randomization occurs only on Dream of the Demon difficulty. If you drop them on Dream of the Strong it doesn't change or randomize inheritables. They do not randomly change. That only happens on the new difficulty.
Not true at all for me. I have only try dropping my old gloves on DoS and not DoD. It isn't random either. For example my twisting spear will ALWAYS become God of wind, my wind storm will always becomes heaven and earth.
@@JumpinProductions it is absolutely true. It's how the game is designed to work. Its not a glitch, its not a patch. If you tempered or altered the piece of armor in any way, then the stat will be randomized. It has to be the original piece of armor. Either forged, or picked up as loot. If its not been altered, and you are on dream of the strong it works every time. I have been doing this wince the dlc dropped. I had someone drop me their gloves with a "dragon dance damage" inheritable and I got it 6 out of 6 times. I also got my orange attack inheritable 10 out of 10 times. You just have to know what you are doing.

@@JumpinProductions prove what system? I know how revevnant trading works. I haven't once had it fail. Me and my friends have used discord to get absoutely everything we want without fail. Just join a discord, find the stat you need, and they will drop it for you on dream of the strong.
