    28:35 The only logical conclusion that creation exists is to simply say God created them.. at the same time this God has been made to be completely illogical. Go figure.

    Travis, if you had a stint with unbelief and now “choose to believe” why did you choose the LDS faith?

      @@harrisonescobar-yr4cl as explained, along with many other smaller points, an open canon and belief in Prophets.

      @ if the canon isn’t closed what since JS has been added? You have the Quad, what else is consider scripture?
      What about modern day prophets do you see that is compelling? It’s difficult for me not to think they are just dudes (successful Mormons) and that we all are the same and that anyone who claims otherwise is just lying. With respect to speaking to God. I struggle with believing God is real as well and I choose to believe. So what is it about them that you trust? Assuming you see the skeptics view of them.

      @harrisonescobar-yr4cl ,
      1. Scripture in an LDS context is not relegated to things added to some canon like the Bible or BOM, but the continuous preaching and teaching of those claiming Apostleship.
      2. Those called as apostles are and have been willing to make sacrifices in order to abandon lucrative careers in order to devote full effort to Christ through their Church service.
      3. Throughout my own life I've studied their lives and see no evidence their motives for serving are disingenuous.
      4. I think critically. There's a difference between remaining critical and being a skeptic. Critical thinking is analyzing what you are told through a lens of careful consideration in your evaluations, while skeptical means to doubt that something is true or useful.
      Having made decisions to believe in God, I am not a skeptic, but remain critical of what I'm told. Ultimately, whether the LDS Leaders are receiving revelation or not, this Church is the only one making such a claim.
      The alternative is no God exists.

    The "Faith of all Believers" claims a Roman Catholic. Interesting development.

    The law of Mosses does not include Polygamy or marrying 35 women including 15 yr old girls. Joseph Smith had that revealed to him.

      @Lifebertarian 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

      So Abraham, the father of the covenant broke the law of Moses? 🤔

    • @georgemartin1383
      @georgemartin1383 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@LifebertarianThere is no polygamy in the law of Mosses. Adultery is a sin, so yes, Abraham was a faithful sinner.

      Oh you guys forgot that Moses was a polygamist as well? Interesting.

      @georgemartin1383
      Ever heard of Levirate marriage?
      Brothers of dead men were told to marry their brother's widows, whether or not they were already married.
      Polygamy was definitely a part of the Law of Moses.

    • @georgemartin1383
      @georgemartin1383 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@matthewchamberlain2953 There are zero examples of married men precipitating in levitate marriage in the Bible and the law of Moses does not specify that married men are to marry windows. It is also not required if you read it carefully. Joseph Smith is your only source for this practice being ordained by God. A man who had 35 wives and claimed that Genesis 50:33 prophesied him. Genesis 50:33 being a revelation and edition to the Bible by Joseph Smith.
