Well, for the most part, I think he’s genuinely focused on trying to understand. He doesn’t seem overly focused on proving us wrong. I know that’s part of his intent-hence his questions to understand and rebut what Travis is saying-but since Travis always goes back to the text itself without inserting his own theology, it’s difficult to refute him. Many say Travis “debates” like an atheist, but what he really does is simply read the text as it is, without adding interpretation, helping people see what the historical text actually says. Anything beyond that becomes personal interpretation-unless, of course, you have a prophet called by God to explain the true meaning of the text.

Settlers of Satahn. The way you say Satan is very a satisfying way of hearing it said Travis

John 17 is essential to understanding the Godhead and the individualism of the Father and the Son.

If I was born in a society that believed in the spaghetti monster as God and my favorite food was spaghetti, I would really want to not believe otherwise.

@alejandrovalenzuela377 I understand what you’re saying and that’s fine because I know we’re on the same page here and in reference to word salad yeah totally like what Travis did and didn’t say, but what I’m saying is that you know he was saying a lot of word salad…

12:01 another analogy would be revelation 13. The child as soon as it was born, was taken into heaven in the fathers bosom, and the woman fled into the wilderness for 1260 days. The woman is the church. The child is the kingdom of God

Particularly the Priesthood power by which salvation is delivered to mankind in the name of the Father and the Son.

Well done. Enjoyed this. Hopefully the Catholic can connect some dots but over all I was impressed with him not wanting to be contentious.

Does he understand the chapters weren’t there when those books/letters were written?

This makes me wonder why Baal is quoting Hebrew scripture. How does he know it? What does it have to do with him?

@sethhousley5940 , the author of the text has Baal quoting the scriptures.

I mean, to his credit, it's a huge effort to challenge things you've accepted/taken for granted previously, and good on him for doing it.
