@@charlesmorello5641 But Haytham got to know that Edward was an assassin when he was an adult. By that time he was too deep into the Templars, so he could be kinda excused but dunno about your opinion. His life I meant Haytham's was quite tragic. His mother kinda disowned him when he killed a man to protect her. I have a mixed opinion on Haytham. He is the only Templar that I sympathize compared to the other villains in the series.
@@noctisluciscilem386 Yeah Birch brought him to the Templars but Haytham hunted him down when he found out from his step sister that Birch was responsible for Edward's death.
@Mery Sumbayak: Yes only one appears on my game, my broadside just sinks the ships with two blows- so thus I fail the optional objectives. So glad optional objectives were removed form the series, they take the fun out of it.
2:34 This broadside was so... oddly satisfying, watching literally everything explode and die. Edit: AC3 definitely got the naval aspect perfectly (kinda like Unity and its combat mechanics), nailed it right on the head.
Most frustrating mission. I got the swivel objective the first time by luck I played but I didn't understand the 3 broadside. Now I'm on my 10th try lol
It's not fair that this mission not allowed you to destroyed the man o war with ship battle thinking that you are to weak for destroyed it. Even tho the player probably maxed out the ship or powerfull enough to destroyed it.
In all fairness a lone galleon would not stand a chance against a british man o war. The british ship of the line was a peak of naval combat during this time.
I was disapointed by the man o wars in black flag. They were incredibly easy xD Took almost no effort to take one down. You literally only need to mortar it and thats it. Black flag was good but the ship combat was far too easy and the only times ive actually died was from legendary ships.
@@mrsmiley64 not really, the ship battle in assassin's creed 3 is easier, the only reason it's hard is because the annoying ai. And for historical accuracy is not really matter because the fact every action that Connor does never happened and only alter from the real history. So man o war vs galleon is not really matter of history, it's a matter of challenge, which the this game doesn't really had since the ai is too easy to predict. So man o war fight is probably easy.
Idk why but my ship is turning around like wtf it's not going anywhere and everywhere is a no no like I got all 8 ships down but I'm stuck what the hell 😢
I keep screaming at your video, take a cover, why you never use take cover button to reduce damage? And also you keep forgetting that chain shot is for boarding, fire shot is short ranged & grape shots are for boats not large ships
Edward would be so darn proud of his grandson
But ashame of his son

Am I the only one who absolutely loves the ambiance of this battle?
The sounds, the distant battles in the smoke, the lighting, everything.
Yeah, reminds me of when battle raged around you in Halo Reach, showing you that it's an all out war.
Terrifying to say the least
It's better than black flag tbh
And physics of ship movements.
When the horizon lit up I was like Holy SHIT!!
Especially the bit where you encounter the man o war
10:30 This sailor looks quiet indifferent.
Officer: "I need your hellp, man!"
-"Sorry, captain! This bird is quite amazing!"
The worst thing is when you have to destroy the powder reserve on frigates

This french guy has some balls calling the guy who defended the bay almost by himself AND killed the Man oh War by himself "lunatique"
Ya know!! I would NOT have thought of ramming them to open that up! Thanks so much! Gonna go do that now. :D
TravTries!
When we finally drive the British away
Lafayette is there waiting in *Chesapeake Bay*
It only takes one brig to destroy strong ships in this game.
They should make a full game out of naval missions, or hell maybe even pirates.
you are talking about assasin's creed 4
That's just Black Flag and Rogue
Lol, I forgot about this comment. I was trolling. 🫣
Amazing work Keep it up 🤟🏽
just cant get over 3:40.. so good..
I freaking hate the marsellios, it keeps stealing my damn opportunities XD

@@mrsmiley64 this game doesn't really had a good final boss
if we could fought the man o war
this will be a good ship boss

No your not the only one I love it to
After the 30th try I DID IT FOR FUCKS SAKE
Vittoria Agli Assassini
A other French victory
Am I the only one who hates naval battles? I really wish they were just cutscenes. This part is such a pain in the ass for me.
Upgrade your ship
I thought this is only for GTA series lol with assassin's Creed but I like it though
I hate these bloody sea battles
I just finish this without upgrading my ship 💀
Use more loades shots than quick shots.
how does he have other cannon ball shots
How do we get connors captain outfit😭
