Wait, what? You mean to tell me you don't watch every video on the platform in the first 24 hours???? UNSUBSCRIBED! (Happy Father's Day...see you tomorrow night!)
Those were some tight quarters to work in. Getting started on a dirt moving job is always the hardest and slowest part. I really enjoy dirt work. Great video!
Thanks for watching Martin. We got to use the range yesterday. My oldest is home on leave and it was fun watching he and his two brothers sharing some skills, knowledge and fellowship! 👍🇺🇲😎
Morning Chris! Sorry, I missed this one. Reminded me of playing in the sandbox with our Tonka toys when we were kids. LOL! GT's. (Good Times!). Cheers!
Got my LX2610SU about a year ago. I actually stepped down from an 3901. Turned out I didn’t need the extra power and the slightly smaller size is a better fit for my needs. And I certainly don’t miss the dpf and regens. My 2610 sports a backhoe and mechanical leveling system , wheel spacers and filled tires R-14’s. Good luck and enjoy your machine.I’m sure enjoying mine. 👍
Man, a backhoe would be nice but I just don't have enough tasks to justify one. Yet, anyway! 😉 My big add-on of choice is to hopefully upgrade to a cab model in a few years! Fingers crossed...🤞😎👍
Hi Chris, Dave, RCAF Polar Express, just mentioned your Channel, so I had to go over to have a look see. Now that I see that you're building a Shooting Range, you got my attention real quick. Target shooting and or Plinking is another of my hobbies. So now I'll subscribe and see what else you come up with.
@@watershedoverlook I try to keep Dave`s positive attitude every day, sometimes it`s a bit of a struggle, but mostly I succeed, he does it naturally, doesn`t he? Hahaha!
Good Morning Sir 🌞 Outstanding tractor therapy video Sir and Love your Club Shooting Range 😉👍👌 🚧 Love that ROPS UP and BUCKLE UP expression Sir 🚧👌👍🧐 Ho boy, you had a very demanding profession Sir working with these one's who went on the dark side of the force or for many others reasons good or bad ( many hours of discussions can be happening about that topics 🥴😇 ). Great stories about your Son who is the Service ( You are at the front line of the most important Link of support Sir and thank you for that Sir and tell him that the decoration the he will receive or had you are deserving too for the back up support ) 😇🙏 One of the problems with most tractor colors that they switch from Cast iron to Cast Aluminum about making rear differential 🥴 OUTSTANDING TRACTOR THERAPY VIDEO AND GREAT STORIES ABOUT YOUR LIFE BIOGRAPHY SIR 👍👌🧐 Have a blessed Holy Easter Week End Sir 😇🙏👌👍 Cheers 🍻
Thanks for all the very kind words Dave. 🙂 We are very proud of all that our son has accomplished in the USAF...one of these days I will include a bit more about what he does in a video. Have a great weekend and a wonderful Easter. (BTW...keep an eye on your mailbox... 📬 😉👍)
@@watershedoverlook That is OUTSTANDING that he is in the USAF, I work 4 yrs with these fines folk's when I was in Germany at the NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen on E 3A AWACS Life Support Specialist. Cheers
Nice shooting range! Gotta love having a reason to move dirt. Lol. We built a small berm at the end of one of our fields for a backstop. Gotta have a place to target practice safely! Great video!
Thanks Dana. It was not a particularly exciting video but it sure was a lot of fun playing in the dirt! I enjoy a job where you can see immediate progress!
Looking back, would you have gotten an L2501 over the LX2610? I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on an LX and starting to wonder if I need the extra weight the L would give me
Honestly Justin, I have absolutely zero regrets on the LX2610...I love it and it has done everything I have asked of it so far. The situation in this video was not a typical one...because of the weird angles I was basically pushing into the base of a huge pile of dirt and I'm certain it would have been a problem for significantly larger tractors...although I doubt the could have safely gotten up on top of the hill! My best "real world" test is pulling my EA 66" Box Blade up a significant grade full of gravel. It's never let me down. 👍 Obviously, everyone's needs are different so I can't speak specifically to your application, but I would never hesitate to recommend the LX. I think you'll be happy either way though! Best of luck and congrats on the pending purchase. Let me know which way you end up going! - Chris
@@watershedoverlook thanks for the feedback! I made the snap judgement to go for the Standard L tonight. Ended up getting the L3302- was worried about needing some additional PTO power over the 25hp offerings. Should be here in a few weeks, excited to get to work!
Helpful Tip...Do NOT tighten the magnets much past "snug" during assembly. They will crack. (Yes, the voice of experience). When I ordered they were on backorder; hopefully you can get yours on demand!
Love moving dirt!
