Yes, we spotted it a couple of times, I think they were having a tour around in the opposite direction. We also came across an Evora in the alps and an Elise in France.
Lovely roadtrip, enjoyed watching! Would love to do the same in our Exige 350. Do you have additional info (complete tour, some of the hotels and stops u used)? Greets from Belgium

That looked a wonderful trip. We’ve done similar in older Exiges and an Evora. Suspect the V6 Exige is a better compromise for the trip than any of those. Itching to try mine out on a proper trip now. Only got it in October, and haven’t used it much yet because of the weather.
Thanks for watching, make sure you get a road trip done in yours. The Exige 410 has fairly hard suspension for your average Uk back roads but in Switzerland their roads are super smooth so great fun. Also did a similar trip a number of years ago in an Elise club racer (check out my 1st father & son road trip). It didn’t have same V6 roar but still a great car. Again thanks for watching.
@@mclay1853 we’ve joined a few clubs, so planning to at least do some trips to Wales etc in the near future, and just decided on a 3 hour round trip to the Cotswolds tomorrow as a starter. Mine’s a V6 S Roadster, so relatively comfortable 👍 Looking forward to seeing your next trip.
Good question. We were staying in an apartment while in Switzerland so we’re able to store the roof there while out for the day in the mountains (you need to be certain of good weather for the day). I have a protective cover for the hard top to protect it while off the car so can leave it in the garage without worry. The protective cover folds flat and sits on the bottom of the boot so we were able to bring it with us on the trip.
Yes, the hard top definitely does not stow away in the car, there is no room at all. It was a day trip when we took the roof off so it went into a soft protective cover and we left it in the garage. You have to be pretty certain of the weather, but it turned out fine so worth the risk.
Nice trip, greetings from Switzerland! The Exige has always been my dreamcar. I hope i can afford it one day
Great footage of your road trip and very enjoyable viewing
Looks like lots of fun and all the more special in an Exige.

More bang for your buck 😄. Ive driven the autobahn many times although not in the Exige... Yet
Another Exige at 13.32 - going opposite direction ,

I just had to ask! Where did you store your hard top roof!!!???

Lotus lots of travel usually satisfied
Absolutely right. A Lotus puts a smile on your face.
Why would you do a road trip in such a small car? Ok it’s fun for the first couple of hours…
You removed the hard top, but where did you store it? Pretty sure you can’t carry it in the car….
Yes, the hard top definitely does not stow away in the car, there is no room at all. It was a day trip when we took the roof off so it went into a soft protective cover and we left it in the garage. You have to be pretty certain of the weather, but it turned out fine so worth the risk.
I would like to prefer drive SUV for such trip maybe.
