It is! that is a massive feature in VR. In flat2d monitor gaming you never a head a true scale view of things around you, now with VR you have it, and also in glorious real 3D depth.
It would be awesome in vr if someone develop a game where you pilot the yeager in pacific rim with a cockpit view..slashin enemies with your massive robot arms ugh

I wonder if there's a way to turn off the "flying dust" effect that appears to be everywhere you go. In the beginning, when you're flying among the fleet, there's dust whizzing by the cockpit. I get that it's to give a sense of speed and movement, but it's odd to just have it in the middle of space. It's cluttering the view.
@@cheeseman4199 I can assure you that would be terrible, no man's sky has terrible vr flight controls, and this game has way too many buttons to be mapped on most vr controllers, and if they just set it to manual activation via moving your hands, it would be too cramped to allow for everything, and would leave you at a severe disadvantage in multiplayer
Odissey+ looks great. A game itself is pretty buggy, it needs joystick with 12 buttons, but mine only has 6, it becomes a problem, because switching between gamepad and stick is poorly implemented, and keyboard in VR is not an option. So I do struggle a bit with interface
