    I have the Barnett XP380 and it’s awesome!! I took it this past deer hunting season and smoked a 8 point buck with no problem. Cant wait for the upcoming season!

      Once it's adjusted, tape it up with black hockey tape, no more noise. You're welcome.

    I got mine on clearance too. It was $233.53 out the door. Buuut, one of the cable ends at the bottom was frayed. I still got a good deal on it though.

    You know all I can say that it is probably the best Chinese crossbow made and the trigger are really good when they work

    Hello, may I ask if the strings of modern crossbows may have safety issues due to aging? Do I need to consider the issue of aging, or do I just need to pay attention to its cracks and fuzzing? If it is well maintained, used less, and stored properly, is it possible to store it for ten years?

    • @Bulletarrow93
      @Bulletarrow93  ปีที่แล้ว

      I honestly have no clue. I would assume if maintenance regularly it should be ok

    Question for you.
    Have you heard anything back regarding the Barnett Xp 380 in regard to catastrophic limb failure? I put 35 bolts through my brand new one. and while cocking back the 36th bolt the limb snapped. I am trying to contact Barnett directly but I'm not getting much back from them regarding a potential design flaw causing the high potential near miss limb failure. have you or anyone else heard anything regarding this? I have found a few people online with the same failure on the brand new bow.
    This is a warning for anyone thinking of purchasing this crossbow.

      It seems every budget crossbow has that problem with quality control

    • @lieffers111
      @lieffers111 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Bulletarrow93 I do understand that. The intent was to use it as an entry level bow to see if it was something I was interested in before I committed to a $1500 crossbow. But budget crossbow or not. When it comes to the potential and severity of risk injury from a limb failure with a face in the line of fire, it seems baffling they are able to get away with such craftsmanship, else they spend their entire profit margin in court settling injury claims.

      @@lieffers111 yes i agree.. the bows made in China have more lemons then the American company's and they don't back there bows the same, but when you only pay 250 or 300 you get what you payed for

    Hello, I would like to ask you how many grains of arrows are suitable for hunting with the xp380. The basic requirement is that it will not damage the crossbow

    • @Bulletarrow93
      @Bulletarrow93  ปีที่แล้ว

      400 grains would be my suggestion

      *Don't shoot any bolts out of any crossbow under 450gr* Yes I know arrow speed will be reduced *slightly* but I assure you not enough to result in a failed kill shot. Simply adjust your point of impact and don't get caught up in the speed-hype. Trust me on this one. Your bow will last MUCH longer if you use a heavier arrow. And it will be quieter too. Sell your light bolts and buy new heavier ones. Good luck.

    Is the expedition 380 and the explorer 380 the same bow? I'm looking for the axle to axle cocked measurement on the expedition 380?

    Cp400 is not that bad. I have a bearx constrictor cdx. As a back up crossbow in it shoots really well. I robinhood 5 bolts with it. At 40 yrds. Both are great shooting crossbows.
