    David Goggins figured this out without even doing research. Get comfortable being uncomfortable!

    Everything we do is also to go to comfort. The solution is to make ourselves comfortable. That could be with a comforting thought, a nap or a cup of tea or a few minutes meditation

    So how we know ((the reason why we’re looking for escape, why we’re getting distracted in the first place, why we want to take our mind off of this emotional discomfort)) ????

    Clickbait either the video is incomplete, or it's just standard TH-cam Clickbait videos. He doesn't give a single tip on how to overcome distraction.

    Click-bait for the distractible...He spends the whole 7 minutes defining what the word distraction means (as if we were middle-schoolers!) and ends up proclaiming that we choose distractive behaviors because we are “avoiding discomfort.”
    Well, duh....
    Advice on how to be indistractible?
    I don’t think he knows. Or he’s not telling-until you shell out for the workshop or book or whatever he’s shilling.

      The title is on point. Check 6:30 . His advice lies in the last question - that you are supposed to ask yourself why something is distracting you as soon as you are being distracted to henceforth not be distracted. Maybe you are not able to question yourself.

    • @HannesRadke
      @HannesRadke 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@antoniushe I think he should have gone some further steps and gave examples. Like "Oh, I am feeling lonely -> Let's check Facebook Maybe I should ask a friend out." But still, I think his analysis is falling short. It's just warding of one of, like, a dozen angles of attack the digital environment is throwing at us.
