Rachelllllll! I am behind on *all* my garden videos this month, so I’m so happy to see your sweet face again! How wonderful to see all the beauty around your garden! Your potting shed is amazing! And your cuttings. Girl. Your title as the Propagation Queen remains unchallenged. You are ready for spring already! You inspire me to Get It Together LOL. Your viola seedlings in the tea tins are the most adorable thing. 💕💕 It’s so you! I’m so so happy to see the pipevine doing well for you! Yayyyy! That white veined pipevine does great in the cold. One year I forgot to bring the pots in and it was like *shrug*. I’m still green, lady. I’ve got seeds I’ve got to get going asap! They love a good haircut, too. I had the same thing happen- trimmed mine back and they look great again. I guess they’re programmed to grow back fast after the caterpillars chomp them down! Your roses are beautiful! The Gulf Coast is good to roses. Thank you for the wonderful tour, my friend. Now I’m off to binge four more of your videos!
20s is definitely a cold snap! You are going to be so buff 💪🏻 after moving all your pots to your shed! 10 weeks is crazy, that will pass so quickly! Your cuttings and seedlings are looking so happy and healthy, you are going to be in a transplanting frenzy come springtime! I’m so glad that you still some beautiful butterflies and other pollinators visiting your garden in winter!! I’m so jealous of all your gorgeous roses and all the bright colors all in your life, what a blessing to have those glimmers to bask in everyday! Thanks for sharing all the beauty with us especially your beachy sunsets!
LOL about being buff! You might be right judging from the soreness I felt after I did all of that! I’m going to start seeds soon! Woohoo!!! Don’t worry! You’re going to have your time! I’m excited to see the crazy growth that you get in your garden after that application of chicken coop gunk! I know it’s going to make me wish that I had chickens!!!!!
Hi Rachel, I do love your videos, and your potting shed is just delightful ❤. January, for us, is when Mother Nature does her cleaning, the cold and dark is unforgiving. This is when I leave her to it and I pop off to England to spend time with family. When I come back there will be plenty to do. It was lovely to see so much diversity still in your garden, I realise how much I miss it all in these winter months. As you say, spring is just around the corner and we're heading to the light. Best wishes to you all for 2025. Many thanks 😊
Oh, Kim! What a great idea!!! I hope you have been having a fabulous time in England! I bet the snowdrops are already blooming there! It’s wonderful that you are getting a much needed rest from gardening! You’ll be that much more ready to spring into action once the last freeze has passed! Thank you for all of your encouragement!!!!!!
I enjoyed the tour of your shed. What a creative trellis or whatever you’d call it w/ the old plant stand on top of a pot for the plant to grow up & into. That zinnia is beautiful & showing out
Thank you, Sheila!!! I want to have a small wire trellis for my pipevine to grow on, but I did have a lot of money to spend. I went to the thrift store to see if anything could be repurposed for it, and I found those wire kitchen things! So far it has worked pretty well!
I love hearing the rain on your potting shed. I’d probably hang out in there if the heater was turned on! lol Fun! Yes, here in middle GA we’re going to have 4 mornings in the 20’s. I’ll probably double cover a couple of my huge blue planters with succulents today & on top of that plastic to keep the rain off them. ( I’ll remove the plastic right after it rains keeping the blankets on top of the planters.) Everything else has been in my garage since Dec. I have a little heater out there, too.) ugh. Winter can be such a pain. 😝 Take care girl & keep warm until next time…your GA gardening friend❤
Oh, Linda! I hope all of your things are surviving!!! It is so shocking that I still have things blooming and honeybees buzzing around, even after we had several freezing nights! I’m praying that they are wrong about the forecast coming up! Freezing rain. Ugh! I would rather have snow! We went to the store and bought the obligatory amount of milk and bread. LOL! I hope you and your husband are staying well!!! Everybody around here has gotten colds and upper respiratory infections. I’m so thankful that I can already tell that the days are getting longer! There’s hope coming!!!!!
Hi Rachel, happy new year. I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I love all of you seedlings , it makes spring feel like it around the corner. I have all my seeds ready to start sowing and will be setting up all my shelves, grow lights and heat mats real soon. Not looking forward to this cold snap but for a former Jersey girl this is nothing😂. That care and happy growing.
Happy New Year to you, Sue!!! LOL! Yes! The weather down here has got to be strange compared New Jersey’s! Isn’t it exciting to get ready to start seeds?!? I’ve been saying that I will do mine soon, but I really mean to do it in the next few week!
Oh, no, Kelli!!! I’m sorry that you couldn’t hear me!!!!! I hope that the closed captioning kicked in. I don’t know how long it takes for it to be available on videos. I hope you haven’t had any freezing temps recently!!!

I’m new to your channel beautiful garden.
Thank you, Ervenie!!! I’m super excited to get to share new things with you this spring!!!!!!
Not sure how much it helps but one channel said if you can cover the plants w/ a pot & place a larger pot over that it creates a layer of insulation.
Thank you for that info!!!!! I have tried that with a little duranta and it has worked!!!
It’s really hard to hear you and your closed captioned is not on. 😢
You can turn it on by tapping top right corner, the option to turn it on or off is yours.
@ it is not highlighted so I don’t have the option.
