- Have you been taking Aspirin? Is it still a good idea, or not? With changes over the past year, you might consider asking your doctor what's best for you.
In this video, Dr. Marcum shares thoughts on who may benefit from taking a baby aspirin and why you might or might not benefit from it. Of course, this is general guidance and not specific medical advice for you, but if it gets you wondering, you should talk with your doctor.

I wish this doctor is in Australia :) viewer from Melbourne Australia. I start watching this channel regularly now. I've got so much out of this channel than my local GP can tell me.
I’m in Qld and have just discovered this channel. Very grateful
God's continued blessings on you and your loved ones...
Praise God for His Love that flows through you to bless, Dr. Marcum. I love spending time listening with you. I pray for a Christ-centred mentor like you. You remind me of my GP years ago whom saved my life by prescribing Bible verses to me instead of the tablets i was asking for. 18 Years later and I'm about to start residency myself. I pray every day for Jesus' Strength to be a medic like you who puts God first. It's not easy to be alone on this. I'm so thankful i found your channel and i listen to your podcast when i do test questions, so that i can be better at loving on the patients. Thank you so much.
Thank you Doctor. You help us medically and mercifully, with your spiritual insights as a Pastor and your knowledge as a medical doctor. God bless you.

At 73, my doctor advised me to start taking the 81 mg baby aspirin to help with flushing from the Niacin he ordered to help reduce my cholesterol. It definitely has helped and I appreciate knowing it can give me a little more protection from clots.
Thank you Dr. James You really a true vessel of God
This is a gentleman who must to be incapable to hurt even an ant on the ground and if everybody were like him we’d live in a much better and peaceful world

This new study about low-dose aspirin is interesting and some of us "old people" may have to keep taking it. While it is effective against heart problems and ischemic stroke, my mother and her grandfather died young from hemorrhagic strokes. Low-dose aspirin is thought to increase the risk of this rarer stroke. But, I keep taking it because I have the gene mutation Factor V Leiden. Having had COVID fairly bad, the outcomes in a study by Mass General found that people with this gene mutation were likely to have bad outcomes. The low-dose aspirin has probably helped me while sitting for hours at my computer or on longer plane flights. Anyone suffering from anemia though, may already have some GI bleeding and should be checked out.
My mum and dad’s naturopath says to take low dose Asprin 3 times a week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Works for them 😊
God Bless and Protect You and family
Thank you so much doctor for this great information
Thank you, Doctor, for this great information! God bless you!
Thank you and our God
Halleluja🙌😇💗🙏
Dr. Is Asprin necessary if taking Vit D3 with K daily (5-10,000 IU) and having a VITAMIN D level of 85?

I have a question, my husband has I T P. A blood disorder which causes your platelets not to clot, It's viral induced. However he has had a heart attack some time after this condition accord. He takes baby aspirin everyday because of his stints. Because of these two conditions, it makes him bleed more. The doctor said he needs to take it because of the stints.I have heard of Willow Bark and was wondering if you think this would be better for him then regular baby aspirin.
Very interesting video. Thank you
Hi Dr. is there anyway you can be my doctor virtually?
Doctor
Please discuss “Long Haul” c-ovid symptoms and what to do
I am almost 2 months out I still have no taste or smell and some fatigue and congested.
Thx U
I’m 3 months post covid and still have congestion, body aches and fatigue
I had a positive test in mid-Sept and still don't have my sense of smell back and don't have the same energy level as before. Some studies show that a third of people can still have these symptoms after 12 weeks, so you might need to keep eating healthy. I saw one study that said that the sense of smell problem was due to receptors in the nose and not any changes to the brain, so the researchers suggested smelling something you like to smell twice daily for about 20 seconds to retrain your nose. I am trying it.
Thanks for sharing this info.
I take zyflamend for inflammation. Is it only aspirin that helps with the possible clots etc after covid? Also, any blood tests to check the likelihood of future adverse effects? Was also wondering if you have any thoughts on taurine for your blood. Thanks
Take Nattokinase.
AMEN HALLELUJAH
Aspirin is made from petroleum distillates, crude oil. Willow has not been used for a hundred years. Cheers from sunny Alberta!
That’s bayer try gericare
White willow is easily available in health food stores
Was taking aspirin for over 20 years til last year cardio said I have afib, but no symptoms, now I am on eliquis, very expensive, i think it's a scam doctors are getting kickback. Would love to have a checkup from out of town cardiologist.
Doesn't garlic and ginger work Just as well to thin the blood?. Aspirin is so hard on the stomach.
What about aspirin induced gastrointestinal bleeding? I was on a baby aspirin per day, which was recommended by my doctor due to my age at the time, and I still had a heart attack. This happened a couple years after we started working on improving out diet. After having the latest bug, it was suggested that I go back on the baby aspirin. I chose to go another route with cayenne pepper daily.
Mom is 78, since many years ago she takes 1 aspirin 81mg daily on prescription for her ulcerated leg.
I took it when I got covid in 2020 because I felt breathless, probably a clot derived of the virus, it helped me, without it I think I wouldn't make it
I agree most cant do aspirin because of stomach problems
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Question, my girls have had the chicken pox vaccine and have never gotten it. Do you know if the shot protects them from Reye Syndrome with the taking of aspirin if they have a temperature? I have asked several doctors and to this point none have known the answer to this. I have started an aspirin protocol 2 weeks before my daughter’s COVID 2nd shot and plan to do 2 weeks after to prevent a stroke. Thank you for the information and especially the Bible verse.
Other viral infections can also be linked to Reye’s syndrome in children who take aspirin. It may be a good idea to talk to the pediatrician as it relates to the shot.
Is it the bleeding risk or that their taking the juice and it may interfere with the wants of the pharma?
Amen 🙏
Would it be beneficial to start taking it after the "mandatory juice"
I’ve wondered about this, too
Ive been taking it daily after drinking the kool aid. Better than doing nothing
Thank you for the information. I think today's aspirin might be made synthetically in a laboratory rather than off the bark of a tree, and will have side effects
What if you are allergic to aspirin
Dr. Marcum,
Is Covid19 vaccine induced hypothyroidism common?
My mom has taken aspirin daily for the last 50 yrs or so she is 75. No risk for heart issues. Would it be a good idea to stop aspirin after long term use?
I sure wish you were my GP
John 14:6
6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I've read that taking an 81 mg aspirin a day and then stopping can be dangerous and cause clotting. Has anyone read that? Dr. Marcum, is that true?
Dr., is there another option for blood clot prevention? Aspirin makes me very dizzy and vomit. :(
Ibuprofen, just don't mix it with aspirin. Take one or the other
the best medicine really is FAith on the promises of our Holy Loving God . one of great command of our SAVIOUR ( WORD of GOD.....FEAR NOT" )
Are you still positive for the antibodies or have you subsequently be vaccinated?
Would omega 3 fatty acids not be a better option?
Just do both. That's what I do. NAC might be worth considering also as long as you are not taking any prescription blood thinners.
It may have been the cause of a little blood in the stool though ? I quit it.
Didja get the jab yet, Doc? I know you hadn't before (which I agree with) but wondering if you decided they were "safe and effective" yet lol...
