I had a personal loss 5 years ago that shook me deeply. A friend encouraged me to go to the local animal shelter and find a companion. I did as she suggested and brought home a four-year-old special-needs dog. This dog has been my touchstone ever since. My heart was healed by caring for my pet. We walked together, we travel together and her companion ship has been a contributing factor to my heart’s healing. I think God daily for her.
Wonderful story! I had a total of 5 older rescues, one that has special needs and 16, the other was abused, and 11. I love them so much and they love me back. Nothing like it, no family or friends have been this close to me. Writing this sandwiched in between them both :) Enjoy and keep adopting rescues, they are the best!
When I was growing up we had several budgies and cockatiels. And my mom said the reason birds start singing in the first light of day is they are thanking God for surviving another night. I also had a horse from him being a baby to his old age. He went through everything in my life from teenager, first job, collage, marriage, and my father's death. He was always there for me. That horse and I had a bond like nothing on earth. He trusted me in everything included when I had to put him down. He taught me so much about life I will never forget. And our adventures where unlimitless. I had him for his entire 43 years. Thank you God for giving me the horse I always prayed for when I was a little girl.
Thank you for your heartfelt story. It's hard losing a beloved pet that really becomes family. My heart goes out for you in your parting, but you will be with your horse in heaven. This is true. In Genesis it says the Lord puts a spirit of life in all the animals. Only spirit can live in heaven. In Revelation it talks about Jesus and we His saints riding horses in heaven together. And many people who have died and gone to heaven, then sent back into their healed or healing bodies have been telling of their experiences of reuniting with their past pets besides their family members and friends.😊❤ Enjoy your beautiful memories and be encouraged in your future. God bless you. 😊🙏
Haichi is THE SADDEST movie I have ever watched!!!! I cried throughout the whole thing. We lost our 13 year old dog last Fall and our 12 year cat in the spring of 2020. We are in our 60’s now and really don’t want any more animals, but a month ago, a stray cat “adopted” us and she’s still here. I guess she’s probably here to stay. :) You’re right, animals do help you. :)
My koi fishes always soothe me when I watch them swim in our indoor mini pond. My dogs are my companions almost everywhere I go and have always reminded me to be thankful and amazed on God's ceeation.
Yes, now I know you're the answer to my prayers. Thank you for this message. I have 4 furbabies. They are disabled, 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have PTSD. And my babies know when I am feeling down or sick. Last week I was sick. The 4 of them by they own choice, covered me. One laid on my legs, one on my right, the other on my left side of my body, and the other one by my face. The cats were purring, my dogs giving little kisses. It was amazing the love they shared with me. God's creation, so pure, so loving, so kind, so healing.
I lost my pet companion on febc14, 2020. He was a tiny toy poodle and I had him for almost 16 years. My heart still breaks for him. I had him cremated because I still needed him with me. I finally got a cat few months ago and he is laying on me right now and he's very sweet but he has not been able to help me like my little bruiser did. I have depression, type 1 diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis so the struggle is real. But I just have not been able to get another poodle. My family alway thought I was crazy cause I took him everywhere.. but I lean on Jesus and He helps me get through the day. because He lives I can face tomorrow.. God bless you all
My dog has been a prescription for depression and inactivity. She is so active so I have to get out of the house and exercise her whether I feel like it or not! 😊💕🐾

There is no doubt my golden retriever Abby, is a biblical prescription.Ever moment I am with her is a joy. She makes me have a good belly laugh daily and gives me a purpose as she is my responsibility.Dr.Marcum is absolutely correct in saying our pets are icebreakers. While Abby swims on the greenway she has an audience which provides me much social activity. Seeing Abby happy makes me happy. She helped me through my cardiovascular issues keeping me active and thinking positively.Abby was the first item on my list of what I was thankful for daily.Thank you Dr.Markus Praying for you and Nick
We have a golden ret and a golden ret lab mix. Our dogs were an answer to prayer. Before these lovely pups came to us my mom passed away and also our dogs passed away. I cried everyday until I got a call from Guide Dogs that they had a career change dog that would be a match. We adopted her and she is wonderful. I stopped crying the day I brought her home. We also adopted another golden who is related to one we had that passed away. They are God's gift of comfort and I thank Him everyday for them
Thank you for such a great scripture! Our dog, new puppy in June 2020 sure has been a comfort to us getting thru the Covid crisis. Daily, we laugh, as we have enjoyed her very much unconditional LOVE 💕... Ain't that just like Jesus?!!😍💕💕💕
I had 2 Guinea pigs named Snickers and Oreo , they helped me when I was going through alot of depression and anxiety , they got me out of my slump and feeling unloved , caring for a pet is so rewarding ,hearing them squeek with delight for lettuce when I open the frig :) God is so good all the time ,even the birds praise him in the early morning with song ;) thank you Jesus !
We obtained our pet dog a week before relocating. Having a pet was the best prescription for me and my kids because our pet helped ease the anxiety of being away from friends. We love our labrador mix.

My Lord Jesus answered my prayers in giving me a 1 month old abandoned outside Maine Coon kitten. She was malnourished. She gained her health within a few days and is in excellent health. She is a tortoise shell calico with white on her neck, belly and feet. She has big, beautiful emerald green eyes. She is 4 years old as of August 10th now. She's beautiful, smart, fun, very playful and friendly and she is very sensitive to people's emotions. She comforts me and I comfort her. 😁❤❤❤😺🐾🐾
That's so true doc but unfortunately 😕my child is allergic 😢to pets and she got autism dogs 🐕are perfect for different disabilities another great 👍🏾biblical prescription doctor 💙
Proverbs 12:10 A righteous man cares about his animals health but even the merciful acts of the wicked are cruel. I thank the Lord for our two little dogs.

At a hard time in my life, God put an abandoned cat on my porch! She was very skinny and scared. Now she is healthy and fat. Very funny especially when I am down! I know that God gave her to me, especially that I was always a dog person. I never had a cat! I knew nothing about cats! Now she is my therapy cat! She has changed my life!
Unless one knows the responsibility it takes to have any animal, DO NOT GET ONE. IT WILL CAUSE YOU MORE STRESS I’m a trainer and I can not begin to tell you the people who get animals thinking it will help them and then get rid of them. Please don’t push this!!!!!!!
Yes of course, caring for an animal, or someone other than yourself, can cause stressful. It's a valid point for sure. But serving others, or caring for animals can help provide comfort and a sense of purpose as well. Would you agree?
@@BiblicalPrescriptionsforLife OH I TOTALLY AGREE THAT THE ANIMALS HELP!!!!! I also have a Service Dog! But I just don’t want people to decide they want an animal to help them and they have NO CLUE AS TO THE RESPONSIBILITY!! The world is NOT NORMAL. You should hear the abuse that people do to their dogs because they don’t know what an animal entails!!!!! That is why I stopped being a trainer because emotionally I could not handle the way people treated their dogs!!!!!!! And then you get someone who is emotionally unstable with an animal!!!!!!! They can’t even take care of themselves!!!!!!!! This is the part YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND!!!!! I HAVE BEEN THERE AS A TRAINER. YOU HAVE NOT!!! Just like I wouldn’t understand Heart surgery, you do not understand what an unstable person can wind up doing to an animal!!!! I say this in love!!! I know you mean well!!! People depend on their dog to completely turn their depression or ptsd around!!!!!! ONLY THE WORD OF GOD CAN COMPLETELY HELP THAT PERSON. Then an animal will help! They cannot depend on the animal totally, I tell them this We encounter the expression sound mind in 2 Timothy 1:7: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (KJV). The original Greek word translated “sound mind” here is sophronismos, and it appears in the Bible only this one time. In other Bible translations, the word sophronismos is rendered “self-control” (ESV), “self-discipline” (NIV, NLT), “discipline” (NASB), “good judgment” (GW), and “sound judgment”

Possible Christians should think if they will bring children for the kingdom of God or waste time and everything else that comes with it for things that God didn't intend for human race.
If you don’t know about the health benefits, the doctor just explained it and showed studies about it. It doesn’t have to be a waste of time or replace children.

That's the Book of Job chapter 12 7 and 8
Great message but FYI the verse is Job 12:7-9 not romans!
The text reference written was incorrect...it said rom 12:7-8 instead of Job 12:7-8. THANK YOU however for the content of the video.
What is called that movie about the dog?
They are not a stress free pet, being single is not easy but can be stressful trainings dog.
😘
I think on your video it shows Romans 12 7 and 8
This 60 yr old wants to know ... Are there pets in heaven?
Absolutely yes. Why would God withold any good thing. They are his creation. And He said it was "good"
I surely pray they are!
