What an absolute display of greatness by Keith, what a unique way to hit the high notes. So unique, personal, emotional and powerful at the same time. None ever had his unbelievable talent throat wise in the Rock-Metal Industry.
River Runs Red spoke to every teenage kid who loved metal/hardcore & had a fucked up childhood or had depression issues. This bans got me out of my feelings a lot back in the mid 90s, must have played RRR album 1000 times in those years.
Fuck yeah that’s the scene I remember. THANK YOU!! I didn’t get to see them until ‘96 opening up for Korn and Ozzy (Hershey PA). LOA stole the show And that’s saying a lot if you ask me. No offense to Korn/Ozzy. LOA was so real and we needed that shit back then. Those were the days!!
LOVED LOA back then. Were my favorite band in 93-95, seen then so many times in NYC, Long Island. 110% energy every show! Usually opening for Type O a lot back round this time.
@@strictlystreet1517 yup, Lost At 22, Fears I Fear and Ugly are every bit as good as anything on River Runs Red as far as im concerned. Just turned 41... now my kids bitch about my music instead of my parents.
I never really understand this attitude. I love River Runs Red, but they did it. We have it. It exists. What would be the point in doing another 2 or 3 albums that sound exactly the same? Soul Searching Sun is fucking class as well.
The Stain Remains is my second favorite song of all time second to Metallica's One (no pun). When I first heard it the song hit me the same way Welcome To The Jungle by GNR & Teen Spirit by Nirvana did, you just knew you were hearing the future even if only temporary. That riff after the bass line opening when the song kicks in is so fucking brilliant even if so simple!!! Saw LOA on this tour at the El N Gee in New London CT. Hung out with Keith (high off his ass!) & Joey Z (high on life and maybe weed, he offered) got to tell him what I said above and after they played Stain he handed me his pick he used to play it that night. River Runs Red forever! Ugly was underrated!!!
One of my all time favorites. Most of those lyrics speak right to me . Accept some the family issues dealt with . Killer fucking set right here too ! Back in the 90s when crowds were rowdier lol ! Even their hidden gems like Drowning, plexiglass gate and Here I am , Here i Stay are right at the top if ya ask me . Oh ...i only have one fucking tattoo . Any guesses? Lol !
I thought that for the longest too ! I love all of it now though. Hard to compare soul searching to river. Two diff records . I dug broken valley after it grew on me a bit more . But yeah........that album was lightning in a bottle
That album of theirs was unbelievable, my friend introduced me to it in 2000. I wonder why they couldnt get it together for more? I actually love that comeback song "LOve to Let you Down".
They had River Runs Red and he turned into a chick. They had their comeback of sorts a decade ago. No one wants to see them with a woman that used to be him.
I agree, I wish it was better but this was transferred from VHS tape to digital so its the best it could be unless the person who originally videotaped it could post his master copy somewhere.
Keith always had a strong voice live and on record. I don't know about these days
Watching the crowd made me smile. Memories.
I hear that!

MOST MASSIVE AWESOME Hardcore album EVER! Pure Brilliance!
Craaaaaaaazy transformation from then to today. From both band and Keith
the most underrated band ever.

KORN was amazing then too, Davis was at his peek.
LOVED LOA back then. Were my favorite band in 93-95, seen then so many times in NYC, Long Island. 110% energy every show! Usually opening for Type O a lot back round this time.
Rusty Kuntz sal
Great underrated metal album hardass!
this band was amazing for this one album, wish they didnt change it. Still such a great album
Ugly was under rated. Its gotten better as I've gotten older.
@@ianmedford4855 I feel the same way now that I’m 40 and went back to the ugly album 💿 lost at 22

@@ianmedford4855 ugly has always been my favorite LOA album. RRR is a classic obviously and I know most people prefer it, but ugly is it for me

A great great feeling overcomes me watching this ;)

Keith actually singing the songs correctly, wish he'd still do that. Amazing energy!

When I think of 93, I think of this
The third song is Through and Through.
No I wrote it down, the record company removed it
The smaller the crowd the better,ha?stagedive evening!!holy bones....
Epic as fucking fuck. Makes me happy as fucking fuck. Yes as fuck.

River runs red is the best metal album ever made....
Too bad noone Sees it was heavily influenced by type o negative
Anyway
Amazing stuff
Right after Rivers Runs Red they should have called it quits!
I thought that for the longest too ! I love all of it now though. Hard to compare soul searching to river. Two diff records . I dug broken valley after it grew on me a bit more . But yeah........that album was lightning in a bottle

what do you mean couldn't get it together to do more. They are still a band, still touring and have a new album coming out?
They had River Runs Red and he turned into a chick. They had their comeback of sorts a decade ago. No one wants to see them with a woman that used to be him.
yes they are as popular as ever.
Why are you replying to me when you just want to tell me the answer you want to give me? Get the fuck real Catrina.
Check out their new album sound of scars its the sequel to RRR and its fucking BADASS
River Runs Red Is the greatest album ever made. In my opinion. But I'm usually right so.......
Sorry but Death Symbolic is the greatest metal album that has ever been written and recorded. RRR comes in 2nd place hahaha just kidding 😂
This is 1994
Es una pena la mala calidad de la imagen.
