Since it’s such an old house, I’d guess the bedroom off the kitchen was a servant’s bedroom. Perhaps a housekeeper or cook.
Hey Wels! At the end you were wondering if you could see how much time you spent on the house, and you definitely can! While you are working on the house, there is a timer in the bottom of the minimap circle that you can look at to see the time, and it also says the time in the screen right before you hit the put on auction button, after you submitted the garden contest! But if you miss those two, you can always go to the sold tab in your laptop at the office and click on the house you want to check on, it will show the profit you made, the price, sale, renovations, and the time you spent in the house!! I've been loving this new house flipper series so far and I hope you keep it going! Love you Wels!!

This has to be one of your best flips to date, this came out BEAUTIFUL and it was worth the wait!! Excellent job! Also when it comes to the dining room reading as a corridor: whenever a room has 3 or more doorways, it'll always read as a corridor. I hate how that happens but we all know it was a dining room!
10 and a half hours, a modern take on historic decor, and an absolute beauty of an English garden, you have definitely pushed yourself and the dedication definitely shows!
I'd love to see what you do with the Snuggly Hideaway from the Pets DLC. It's bar none my favorite house, and it's a relatively small house as well!
I absolutely love how this house and garden turned out. I really liked how you took the last bedroom and split it into 2 separate rooms, an office and a bedroom. Keeping the house a 3 bedroom, while also adding a small office which in a lot of cases is all you need. It all just turned out amazing and so creative.
I wouldn't mind watching a bit more of the process in each room. Looks amazing the end product but it would be nice to see the struggle haha

I love this! So great to see the house you've been working on all week, it looks amazing! I'm feeling nostalgic for some reason, maybe I can imagine the scent of the polished wood, maybe the sparkling chandeliers remind me of smaller cheaper ones someone I know had somewhere, or maybe it just all reminds me of posh hotels and restaurants I've been to on occasion! Everything goes together so well, it's beautiful!
8:07 And that right there is one of the things I hope they change in House Flipper 2. It would be sooooo nice to be able to look at walls/furnishings and be able to get detailed info about them, name of paint/tile colors, what that particular piece of furniture is and what the exact color presets it is using are.

Also I realized when he was searching for a name for the social room the name he was looking for was Parlor. I was a little surprised he couldn’t put his finger on it, otherwise it was an amazing house flip. ❤
With huge houses like this, I would be thinking about service personnel. Where do they stay? What do they need? Hall from kitchen to dining to deliver food? Serving carts? Separated living quarters? Or do the family do it all themselves, perhaps wanting mudroom-to-kitchen-to-dining connections in one direction, mudroom-to-laundry-to-powder room-to-living room in the other direction? Lots of fun things to think about!
I was excited to see you use some different lights this time - the interesting chandeliers and wall sconces are some of my favorite decorations, and while the standard ones are flexible, the fancy ones you used in this house are just fun. Fantastic work as always!
1:45 - I have no idea how that house hanging off the cliff edge got approval to be built. The fact it looms right over this large property means views into all the windows on that side, as well as into the entire garden. Good luck getting any privacy cos there's no fence tall enough to block their view of you in a swimming pool, or jacuzzi or gawd forbid you like to sunbathe naked in your own back yard!! I think I know now why that historic house no longer has an owner and is in such disrepair ... the previous owners got tired of the neighbours leering over them and upped and left! lol
I have been enjoying these House Flipper videos quite a lot! Helps me relax when I just need to chill, or when I am working on something! Loving these videos Wels! ALSO I LOVED THE CONCEPT AND EXECUTION FOR THIS HOUSEEEEE, it does give "museum house" vibes! The living room looks sooooo cozyyy
Reading the pros and cons each potential buyer had was hilarious. Some were complaining there wasn't a sauna. Some complained about only wanting 1 bedroom. And the people that bought the house? Said that their 3 kids had to share a bedroom.... insane lol.
Also, I can't imagine how infuriating it must be when the game doesn't recognize a room as what you want. That would irritate me to no end

Lmao! Gotta admit. That master bathroom is similar to my mom’s. When she had her house built, she basically had a jacuzzi. And a big shower with a sit down panel. So fancy!

An excellent job! All the time you spent on this really shows. We can see you put a lot of thought into keeping the home dedicated to its "roots"! Very colorful, which is a big change from many of your flips and much appreciated. Well done, sir!
For those that don't know, the issue with some rooms not getting the designation they should lies in the coding of the game. Some newer pieces were never labelled as they should have been, so some desks, tables etc aren't registering as such. As soon as you choose and "older" one, suddenly it knows what the room should be ie. office, dinning room. It's super annoying and I really wish they'd fix it, because it really limits our choices if we don't want to sacrifice a higher sale price for the sake of look.

Great video Wels, Id rather the office be the entire first room instead of an office and bedroom. I imagined the family living there to have rich bussiness men so could have been nice to have a big meeting table and a large desk with expensive chairs etc. but nicely done I must say!
Under the minimap it says how long you've spend on the house. A total of 10 and a half hours spend on this house. You did an amazing job on this beauty! Definitely worth the wait, and also definitely worth the video time! :D

I’m just doing this one now I turned the kitchen into a self contained unit the dining room into a library and the bar area into the kitchen/ dining room I kept it old looking in the foyer past the chores, every thinks modern and I also change that third bedroom that didn’t have a bathroom into a third bedroom with the bathroom and walk in wardrobe. Thinks that’s how it was in the mini game. So now my house is technically 4beds 4 baths and 2 kitchens 😆

3:06 the help slept there to be close to the kitchen were they would wake up prepare the meal then half way threw wake the family up then return to the finnish breakfast then do morning chores that the lady of the house gave them.
Not slave but maid or hired help some times someone who had a debt to pay off or needed a place to stay and earn there keep. like a wonderer

Not being able to designate what each room is seems like a huge flaw in the game. Especially if the auto designation costs you money at time of sale.

Its such a nice house but all i can focus on is the lack of radiators 🤠
I mean, we don't have a single radiator in our house. But we live in Texas, so cooling is significantly more important than heating.
In real life w/ a rebuild like this the radiators are removed and in floor heat is installed. It provides more even heat w/ the added benefit of warm floors everywhere.
