Thanks for answering my question. Have been watching since late 2022 when i started to get more interested in Hockey. There is very little coverage of hockey in New Zealand so you and a few other channels help me keep up with it. Therefore my team is the Kings (had zero clue about the cups the team had won at the time). Most likely Oilers in 6. But I do feel they could sweep them out if Skinner stays hot. I'm not sure why so many people are picking florida. They're not playing a one line team anymore. This Oilers team has put 14 different forwards out and 7 different defenseman. Tampa, Boston and New York all had next to no depth. Not to mention Leon and McDavid are far more talented than anyone on Florida's roster.

As for who could make the playoffs next year who didnt this year, i would say New Jersey could have a bounce back year, plus detroit could get in as well, given how close they were this year
What are you talking about? The Wings keeping Howard as their starter for so many years was a huge mistake. The Wings threw tons of money at him, had much better goalies on the bench, that wound up being traded. Howard was terrible and never should have been anything but a backup. I'm a Blackhawks fan, and was always shocked they kept him around. I'm speculating, but it's probably part of the reason Zets and Dats walked away. No matter how good their offense was, Howard couldn't stop a beachball.
Oilers do have the top four players in points these playoffs, as well everyone said that Dallas had a deeper team than Edmonton, and the better goalie and look how that ended up. If Florida undermines the Oilers like every other team then it’s their series to lose
yes Wyatt Johntson is younger and better right now but I think what Lafrenière just did in the playoffs is very exciting considering his ceiling. Laffy was seen as perhaps a generational talent before he was drafted and in the playoffs this year he finally showed flashes of the Lafreniere we saw in the QMJHL and the World Juniors. Some players take much longer to develop. He might now reach his ceiling of being the best winger in the league but what if he does?
@@CanadianBongRipperGuys that good tend to be really good players sooner then Laf. His lack of production before this season limits his likely ceiling IMO.
Ottawa for sure. I don’t see them moving Tkachuk, they’re a team that still has very good young players and Tkachuk is a proven 1C which you kind of need if you want to be a legit contender. Also I doubt Kakko, Othmann, or a 30th overall pick ends up being anywhere close to the player Tkachuk is.
Congratulations for Florida winning the cup, Edmonton got Perry and Perry curse is real😂 Nah in all seriousness its gonna be very close series and may the best win
Based on the reffs suddenly calling a bunch of penalties against a team that hasn't been called much for anything? Panthers last year loved taking penalties. They kind of learned their lesson this year.
NYR special teams were clicking before the FL series and FL shut that PP down for the most part. I don't see anything changing for them in the Finals. They are so good clogging the blue line and taking your speed away. In an era where scoring is king this Panthers are showing that a good sound D# will neutralize a Good offense 8-10 times. Who cares if it's not pretty. This not the All Star game, This is for all the marbles.

Who were the goalies they traded away?
How do you think oilers can win this cup at all I’ve seen every game of these playoffs and I have Florida in 5 no shot for oilers from what I’ve seen
Oilers do have the top four players in points these playoffs, as well everyone said that Dallas had a deeper team than Edmonton, and the better goalie and look how that ended up. If Florida undermines the Oilers like every other team then it’s their series to lose
If you don't say Florida, you either dont know Hockey and/or are a die hard Oilers fan and that is blinding your objectivity.
Florida in 5.
I feel like the finals are either gonna be a sweep or it's gonna take 7 games
Soooo anything can happen gotcha.
Bold prediction. 😂
Wyatt Johnston, if i remember correctly, killed Vegas in the playoffs
Love your videos, but I really don't like the new shaking animation you added when transitioning to another comment/player.
yes Wyatt Johntson is younger and better right now but I think what Lafrenière just did in the playoffs is very exciting considering his ceiling.
Don't remember him being considered generational, kept seeing him compared to Brad Marchand.
But I do think he'll be fantastic
@@Gergentine Look at the scouting reports and the draft rankings. They compared him to Sidney Crosby and Vincent Lecavalier.
@@CanadianBongRipperGuys that good tend to be really good players sooner then Laf. His lack of production before this season limits his likely ceiling IMO.
Oilers in 6!!
Oilers fuckin suck 😂
Most deserving Player to get their first cup other than Mcdavid/Drai in future years? ( Not saying EDM is going to win but they have their big Chance)
Barkov for me, but im biased.
Florida in 6
Im saying Oilers in 7. Theres no way either team will sweep. It'll go the distance.
Me personally, I want Edmonton to win don’t you think Florida is too much for Edmonton habs fan and I want a Canadian team to win
Florida in 5
VAMOS GATOS
Who says no? To Ottawa: Kakko, 2024 1st, Othmann
To NYR: Tkachuk
Ottawa
Brady Tkachuk coming to the Panthers in exchange for Aaron Ekblad and a 2nd
Ottawa for sure. I don’t see them moving Tkachuk, they’re a team that still has very good young players and Tkachuk is a proven 1C which you kind of need if you want to be a legit contender. Also I doubt Kakko, Othmann, or a 30th overall pick ends up being anywhere close to the player Tkachuk is.
As a sens fan
Thats not an interesting trade sry
I THINK OILERS IN 6 BECAUSE OF THE SPECIAL TEAMS
Panthers in 5
Congratulations for Florida winning the cup, Edmonton got Perry and Perry curse is real😂 Nah in all seriousness its gonna be very close series and may the best win
I deserve to see a Panthers cup man at least one time
Canucks and buffalo 54 years and counting, it's an agony that never ends. Canucks three times and failed all three finals
I think florida wins in 5, which means edmonton winning in 6
Why does every Bruin fan think every player wants to go to Boston and Boston only?
Panthers all the way.
Think in the east redwings will make the playoffs, and both Washington and New York islanders miss out for the west who knows
Panthers in 4
I think Theodore gets moved.
Oilers in 3
Panthers in one
Just wanna see someone rock bennett for all the dirty crap he pulls
Bum take
Bennett will be doing the rockin'.
The Panthers will take tons of penalties and the Oilers will capitalize on that and go on to win the 2024 Stanley Cup as predicted
OIlers in 6
How you feel about a Kapanen + Harris/Struble & Wpgs 1st for NECAS
Hurricanes like their Fins after Kapanen showing at worlds, sure opened a lot eyes 👀
Kapanen better option going forward over Drury and Kotkaniemi
Will Smith has one of the best SLAP 👋🏻 SHOTS
LETSSS GO OILERSSS HOLY SHIT GUYS THIS IS REAL THEYRE IN THE FINAL
My opinion is the Dallas Edmonton series was faster than Fla NYR. Oilers in 6
i want the oilers to win cup be good for the country
It has a chance to unite the country for the first time since the Jays won.
@@Rockwolf50 raptors
@@TheJimmyStDenisShowRaptors won the thing they win in the NBA the same year as the Fires. I was evacced and scared shitless, and found solace in the Raptors winning.
Not a Basketball fan, but in the moment it was comforting as hell.
Skinner vs Bob?
Slav supremacy, Russia forever.
fk pantheres in 7! Noooooo fk that edm in 7! ok the end!
Panthers for the W
Laffy taffy 74 points next year
well Florida should win in 5 or 6. Let's face it, trying to win games with a total of 10 shots with 2 PP goals is rare. It's appeared that Dallas somehow forgot how to play after beating the Favourite Colorado.Avs and then laid an egg agaisnt the Oilers??? Almost seemed rigged but Florida should win.
Oh shit you that the last game was the whole series... Lol 😂 have fun.
@@nos5822 You'll see how Edmonton has no business being this far. I guess when it's rigged any team can get there I suppose.
Пантеры размажте - Ойлерс!
I have heard this “generational” talent horse shit since McDavid came in the league. Every 1st overall pick is called generational now. Celibrini is a good young player but generational? Has Lafrieiere taught nobody anything?
Oilers been suprising me with every series with them being the underdog, Oilers in 6
They’ve only been the underdog against Dallas though.
Itll be EDM in 7 or FLA in 6. I believe FLA will win but can go either way
I can't wait to see every fanbase angry after the Knights do litteraly amything
Fr people act like Vegas is the only team doing shit, they just want a reason to hate such an amazing team
Oilers in 6
