Panthers winning this year is one of the best hockey moments I have experienced as a Finnish NHL fan. First Finn to hoist the Cup as a captain, and four new names in total in the Cup now. Only 14 different Finnish NHL players had won before this, now 18! GG:s Edmonton and McDavid, he will win for sure in the future!

Coming from a South Florida Native who grew up watching the Panthers and loving them so dearly and still to this day, I don't want to be biased. But over the past 10 Stanley Cups I think we and the 2021 Lightning have the best victory celebrations/crowd ambiance.
As an LA Kings Fan I wanted to say Congratulations to your Florida Panthers you guys deserved it I’ve always felt bad for you guys when you guys had losing seasons but that’s all behind you guys now congratulations and thank you for beating my division rival the Edmonton Oilers I hate having the Oilers in my division
I'm an Avs fan, and while I was overjoyed in '96 when the Avs swept the Panthers in the cup finals, I have always had a soft spot for the under dog. I'm so glad they finally got their cup. Congrats to the Panthers! They deserved it!
It warms my heart to see in some of those places where the road team won the cup where the majority of the fans stayed to cheer for the winning team. My dad told me a story where he was at the old Chicago stadium when the Habs beat the Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup final and he told me how most of the Hawks fans stayed and cheered while the Canadiens players skated around with the cup.
My top 4 all-time Stanley Cup moments are 1) Our boy in DC, Ovechkin, FINALLY raising the cup in 2018!!!! I've watched this clip endlessly, and I STILL get chills from it!!!! 2) Steve Yzerman giving the cup to Constantinov in the 98 Cup finals. It was such an emotional season for the Red Wings that year. It was only fitting it ended that way. 3) Raymond Borque getting his Championship in 2001 when Sakic handed it off. It still looks and sounds so amazing, even after all these years!!!! 4) Florida FINALLY GETTING THEIR DUES AND GETTING THAT CUP!!!! P.S. ain't going to lie, the Florida one gave me goosebumps amd chills, even now when i hear it!!!!
1st real full NHL season since covid, taking down the back to back champs, that 2022 Colorado team was fun to watch. I'm glad they got to raise the cup that way.
Panthers had the best crowd celebration you could hear it. 30 years the 3rd time it happened. All the tough years they went through. Now 5 straight finals of Florida teams. 3 cups. Ovi carrying it though Wow I remember being happy for him
I was in Lakeland when the Lightning won the cup in 2020. I remember getting noise complaints in the hotel I was staying in, but when the bellman came to my room and saw the TV, he let me go. I went to the parade in 2021 and caught a beer from one of the players, I still have it to this day
It going to be awhile before the Blues win the cup again as there rebuilding and I hope my Bruins win the cup again at some point and redeem themselves from 2019.
I'm sure that Vegas' Jack Eichel experienced the same jubilation here (07:24) as did when he finally got out of Buffalo. It's interesting how many former Sabres (O'Reilly, Reinhart, Eichel) have gone on to win Stanley Cups with other teams. Tells you what a sad sack franchise Buffalo is in developing and nurturing talent
Ovechkin and the Caps entire Summer of 2018 was electric. IMO, the best. Ovis primal scream hoisting the Cup, Oshie and Wilson swimming in the fountains in downtown DC, Ovi doing kegstands, "We're not going to be suck this year," Backstrom playing with a broken hand, The Save, Ellers Game 5 GWG, DSP and Burakovsky with crucial goals at cruciql times, the Bird Celly in Game 6 against the Pens to "exorcise the demons," the girl in Vegas flashing the Caps as they skated around the ice, SO many great momenta that year.
"THE SILVER TROPHY TO THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS!" -Kenny Albert. I still get emotional as someone who's lived in Las Vegas for their whole life. I've loved the Knights since day 1 and too see them win the greatest trophy in sports was just magical 😁
Fuck the Knights. You and the rest of the fans haven’t had to endure a moment of futility and were handed a championship caliber team from day one. Easy to love them but what a bullshit team they are. It’s why everyone hates them… it’s completely warranted.
So proud of my Cats and McDonough for his hype commentary when the game was ending. Some of these other commentators have horrible reactions. Zero hype
3:45 I do not need to be reminded of this game as a Bruins fan that game still irks me too this day 5 years later as the Bruins had a no show in that game and it will still irk me until the Bruins win the cup again but honestly trying to win the cup is like trying to win the lottery at this point.

They also lived away from home for almost 2 months during the 2020 playoffs, with no family or friends besides their teammates. No sleeping in their own beds, and no playing on their home ice. It was so brutal to be there that Rask left the Bruins in the playoffs to go home to be with his family. They won the hardest trophy to win in sports, during the hardest year in history to win it.
