I like the tech locks, but I’ve started to use double iwb loops so like a tecklocl in carry but closer and has give when you sit

Really cool knife. Looks like one I would really enjoy. Been getting in to fixed blades lately.

Yeah it’s a great one. Have you tried a knife from BGM knives? One of his knives will probably be my next customer fixed blade. Thanks for watching!

That thinness behind the edge is exactly what I've been looking for in a fixed blade, but I haven't found any that can match the thinness of my pm2 flat grind cpm s45vn. It's still the most lethal blade I have.

The blade that you are looking for is in the Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter 15017-1 which has the S90V blade steel sharpened to 14 deg per side. They call it their SelectEdge.

@Matt Diaz Hey thanks, Matt i appreciate the reply. Speaking of benchmade you may be aware of their new raghorn in cruwear. I really want to get one, but the price is a little high. Probably worth every penny though!

I’ll trade you a SPK Shark Vanax Steel for this knife. It’s new.

I much prefer a harder hrc steel. It holds an edge better, and I've never had a problem with any high hardness steel chipping. I don;t abuse my knives, but we've all had times where you hit a staple or something like that, and never had a chipping problem, and in fact, I've had more lower hrc steels chip out on my than harder steels. I don't know what these people are doing that has caused them to have chipping, but knives aren't supposed to be pry bars or impact hammers. They're made to cut. MyM4 Shaman tested out at 65.6 hrc, and I had it reground down to 9thou bte, and it's a great cutter which holds an edge great and yes..no chipping problems. That Shaman tested out as the 2nd hardest of any that were tested by JCOOL when he was still doing hrc testing.

Dang I didn’t know Spyderco was hitting those numbers with their m4. I bet that shaman is a cutting machine. Thanks for watching!
