Kurapika's main goal is both taking revenge on the troupe and recovering their clan's Eyes. And to get his eyes maintaining connection with high-end members of the mafia is essential, besides he has access to hisoka for information on the troupe's location so he's not that bothered to just abandon the eyes and go kill the spiders. Also hisoka doesn't enjoy chaos as much as he is a Gokuphile and just enjoys fighting strong people, and putting himself in dangerous situations for the thrill of it all.
Agree, it’s arguably more in his character for him to be observing all these other master Nen users at work, rather than focusing on killing a bunch of average everyday people. Despite him being perfectly fine with killing people he deems worthless, he also has no real interest in doing so, it’s the strongest people that hold his attention

In manga, Hisoka was humming a tune during requiem, as in his dialogue balloon was a musical note. So that was his contribution, enjoying the sound of the melody and humming along. I mean, as far as the loss of Uvogin goes, only the founding members would really be in a requiem mood. Besides Hisoka, Bonolenov and Kortopi were also not shown participating :P

Also to answer your question, about why kurapika didn't go off on his own, its because he values his words and actions. As in when he says he won't harm someone who can't fight anymore, he MEANS it. When he says he'll protect the nostrad family with his life, he MEANS it. When he agreed instantly go back after a single call from the father of neon, he meant that. I know kts frustrating because the boss wasn't literally a door away.. But he is 100% fully commited5to his duty and word. He doesn't break his word. Anyways, jt might annoy many people but ban got conviction,, many people can't keep their words as much as him.

@@throneascendinggg3490 taking over a country is a headache. you have to manage it, lose privacy, deal with more people than just an academy of butlers. zoldycks value their privacy a lot as they like to live apart in their own mountain. you're thinking too rigidly. there are mixed reasons why people kill as a profession, not just one or another. the zoldyck setup is perfect for them. they get to use their powers in the most efficient way, they get paid for it enough to support their way of life, and they get to have privacy and minimal strings attached to the outside world. also, while zeno or silva do it purely professionally (or so they say), that doesnt mean they dont get any personal satisfaction in their craft (look at how much zeno was enjoying the fight against chrollo). illumi definitely enjoys it, same as milluki, even though they have different approaches to the work :)
Also about the annoying thing where you csnt tell how strong someone is, but you KNOW they are strong? Yeah i know that lmao i actually consider it a plus, its mysterious and makes you unable to know, its also explained by how nen is. Everyone can make their own ability out of imagination. So the range of abilities is very wide. The most versatile power system in Anime. It's why some people are strong but easily beat. And why some have weak aura but insane abilities. Its because they put good conditions on these abilities. Limit something to be able to do the attack more efficiently. So yeah, its annoying to not know how strong someone is but its also os cool not knowing!!
If you read the manga you might get it more of how strong each people are and once more Killua have mentioned how strong each people are early on. That's why the writer want you to stay with each of them by every progress that they grew up

I spend time thinking about how Chrollo steals other people's nen. I don't know if there is an official guide on how Chrollo steals Nen, but these are my thoughts. One, he needs to see the other person's nen ability. Two you must be in a certain distance with that person. Three, he needs to stay with that person for a certain amount of time. Fourth, he has to least touch this person. Five he mustn't let that person know that their ability is stolen. Six, the person must be unconscious or asleep when he finally steals their Nen ability. These are my thoughts and I do not know the truth but it's a conclusion that I thought of after watching the series a couple of times.

Until now there would have been a chance Uvo was still alive but now Chrollo know he's dead hence why he cries. Hisoka probably enjoys the chaos but I doubt he's interested in participating. The timing window for that is so incredibly small Silva and Zeno are only able to pull it off because they're family who have trained together. Kirapika has two objectives: The Phantom Troupe and gathering back the eyes of his people. He needs his position in the mafia to achieve the later so he can't sacrifice it for one fight, not even against a troupe member.
i mean to be fair Kurapika is in a difficult position here, he is not sure of where the troupe members are, he doesn't even know if there's only one intruder or not, moreover losing his job would mean losing access to the information about them in the future, so it's kinda understandable for him to pull back on this one i would say.
