Chrollo wanted to steal their powers was because his fortune assured him "he would prevail", and since the fortune, at no point, mentioned his fight with them, he figured they were "irrelevant" and instead of just fighting for his life desperately, feeling safe he tried to steal their powers.
Against strong opponents, Chrollo seems to prioritize stealing their powers over killing them. Also, if he steals someone's power, I think he needs to let them remain alive and that's the only reason he told the Troupe to not touch the ambulance with Nostrade's daughter in it.
@@Handle12121 When Chrollo uses someone's ability, that means the owner of the ability is alive because that's one of the condition he set. Chrollo's abilily including the conditions is described in the Manga

What Zeno meant was that chrollo was trying to steal their abilities, he wasn't trying to kill them, so if chrollo was actually trying to kill Zeno he would've won, but here he just wanted his abilities that's why he tried poison and using the blanket to capture them, he didn't use any offensive ability like the carnivorous nen fish
@@saucerbaby6556 He would *almost* 100% win, now he also knows what he can do so he can prepare and plan what abilities he's going to use. But yes there's never 100% in nen battles, that's what hunter x hunter always try to remind people.
You're not accurate as well. lol that doesn't mean chrollo would certainly win. it just would be different from an absolute win for zeno if chrollo keep fighting to steal his power instead of death battle. different doesn't equal to opposite word. different means it could go either way. from a certain win to "who knows" kinda thing. nothing for certain. people thinking zeno basically confessed he would've lost is hilarious. reading comprehension is low here. lmao that guy is trusted by netero ffs, the yin and yang.
@@BunnyAcethat's logical but still an assumption. we talk about zeno statement here not a fight prediction. almost or not isn't for you to say. zeno literally can read his damn mind by pure experience. so definitely nothing for certain regardless if you got 100 techniques there in the book
You can do literally anything you want with nen. The only limitation is that if you don't have a good enough affinity with the technique or if you don't have enough aura, the technique you create will be super weak (like if you want to cause atomic blast but are weak, your atomic blast will be minuscule xD). You can bypass that problem by adding conditions which makes your technique harder to use but more powerful. Zeno's comment is a remark on how Chrollo was fighting to capture Zeno and/or Silva to be able to steal their technique later on (as Zeno said, it's too difficult to steal techniques during a fight, there are too many conditions so he wanted to use stuff like the poisoned knife or Owl's cape to capture them alive). If Chrollo fight to kill instead of fighting to capture, he would be a challenge to Zeno and Zeno doesn't know for sure who would win. But if Chrollo fights to steal abilities, Zeno is pretty sure he would win. Considering Zeno managed to read Chrollo's intentions the entire time, I think his analysis is probably correct. We don't know who is stronger in Killua's family (except maybe the great grandfather, Zeno's father, there are hints he might be the strongest, but that's unclear because we never see him fight in the manga, we barely see him at all actually, he is present for the murder of the ten dons but they removed him in the anime) but we can say that Illumi/Zeno/Silva are not that far from each other. Zeno did impress Chrollo more than Silva but that might also be because he already had the opportunity to analyse Silva the first time they fought. The "Ten Dons" thing was indeed a hoax. Illumi can control people with his needles, so he controlled one of the ten dons to make that announcement (as instructed by Chrollo, part of the contract I assume) to make the mafia believe the troupe was dead. And the Troupe's plan for the auction is genius. Not only does no one knows they're getting robbed until way too late, but the troupe gets to take the items and the money, that was so fricking awesome. I thought it was going to end with a huge fight for the items but in the end, it finished with the troupe just taking everything without anyone noticing. Korutopi can't make living copies, but he can make corpses copies of living people since corpses aren't living anymore. And the best thing is, since they're conjured and not transmuted and don't project any aura, you can't even see that they're fake with "Gyo". They're just perfect replicas. The only weakness is that the conjuration isn't permanent, at some point the bodies will disappear and the mafia will realise they've been completely tricked but with the Ten Don's death, they're bound to realise it anyway so it doesn't matter. It will be too late by then and they might not want to mess with the troupe after they kill 2000 of their men, the 10 shadow beasts and the 10 Dons.
Zeno didnt say he would 100% loose a fight against Kuroro. But in a nen fight the result might be unpredictable. Zeno is the only character in HxH to 100% mastered his nen category, he has a lot experience in combat.
Silva killed a Troupe member and said it was a difficult fight, even so, he finished the fight unharmed, and even after killing the troupe member, he fought the boss, we don't know the result but still both came out alive.

yeah nah
i think you forget that Uvo was the perfect first target because he was a soloist but the spider work together Kurapika would also have a hard time
Not just that he was also the strongest even without Nen, so if he could take Uvo down, the rest shouldn’t be as tough.
