Hello. I mix mine when its warm, not hot. Don't let it get cold else it will harden.

why don’t mine flake at the top?
Tips to make it flake is by whip the egg till frothy bf add to other ingredients..i ve done it many times & works well
You need to beat the living day lights out of the sugar!😅
Longer you whip the egg and auger mixture the more flacky the top will be
Time and temperature?
Saw on her website, 350°F for 15-20mins.
