- Elden Ring recently came out with NEW DLC which basically added proper PVP into the game. Decided to see what this new Elden Ring DLC was hitting for and I will have to be back with more builds ASAP. This was fire

The Caelid colosseum allows spirit summons. If you just want duels without the summons, head over to Leyndell.
Once you open up every colosseum you can access them from the Roundtable Hold

Oh man, I remember the Jar Knights, those guys took quite a bit of time to beat. Its pretty crazy that the enemies that spawn are based off of characters that have successfully beaten all three Knights.
Does that mean someone out there might be fighting my character?

@@bigdaddyyute6472 Nah, fight them one at a time but you can't go back to a grace to get more heals. They have to be defeated in one go
The dlc was basically confirmed to be happening, twice. First Miyazaki (the director of ds1, demon souls, ds 3, Sekiro, bloodbornem and Elden ring) said they still had lots more in store for Elden ring. Second, Bandai namco emailed the players saying that lots of Elden ring news would be coming in the days and weeks to come.
How did you get those emails?? I would love to be able to stay up to date with Elden, honestly XD

@@BlueBamboo9 Idk but I’m seeing it circulate around anywhere, and it honestly would make sense as to why they didn’t want to show dlc at goty, since armored core needed it’s time in the light so one wouldn’t detract from the other

More Elden Ring Challenges!!! I want to see Afro try to one shot all the Elden Ring Bosses!
A big thing with the pvp if your doing a melee build to me is having the incantations that help you with defense against spells is crucial. you can also use things like the tree sentinel shield to parry magic back at a caster if you can get the timing down right. Check out the best builds vid from vaatividya too for some good inspiration on how to build your character. He has a great vid with some sweet builds!
that video is about pve builds and honestly you don't need defense against spells you just gotta learn to dodge and run around them

Carian Knight Shield and Erdtree Greatshield are good shields to build around if you wanna be anti-magic, look them up it'll be pretty helpful.

Maybe you should try to put your mana potion in your "second" inventory, the one you need to have a triangle pressed to access in fight if i remember well, to have your mana potion easily accessible

I was the same way, had to wipe the dust and cobwebs off of my character for pvp. After a couple of practice sessions, I got the controls down, and after a couple of mock battles, I got the timing down. In which case I went to the arena and was immediately shredding people. Love it.

Afro you can turn off summons in duels, it’s called spirit ashes and you just set it to not allow it when you look for a match

You could try using an armor with more poise since you're getting interrupted so often, the veteran set is quite good for that. Bull goat is also an option considering you're using very light weapons.
