Mohg is one of the bosses that teaches you to NOT panic roll. For example you take a hit and you need to heal so you spam Dodge to Get away but you cant, you will die every time, so you need to Dodge for a opening to heal. And Afro got HUMBLED bec of this
The main character montage after so much suffering from Mohg, it was golden. This boss is quite a challenge to fight especially as a dex build cause you got little poise. His fire on the ground after his pipi atacks not only burn you, but also builds up bleed ... ye Miyazaki knew what he was doing with this one. Great job Afro for managing to stay confident in yourself until the end, he was build to be disrespectfull, but you've built yourself to be THE ONE !!!
@@KajillionX What was more frustrating to me is that he didn't seem to realize Mohg was input reading all of his heals, and interrupting every single one that he timed poorly. Lots of times he'd heal when Mohg wasn't doing an action, and he'd start the interrupt literally the same frame Afro's character is reaching for a flask. He's going to have to pick up on that trend, or Malenia will be an even bigger nightmare.

Literally the exact same thing for me. Used my last health flask and it was either take him down right then or quit playing for the night lol. Somehow got the last hit in.
@@otn2664 for me that was radahn. It's just something about his attack timings that just flow with how I normally dodge. It's almost like when you fight radahn you don't just fight, you dance.
Afro is such an entertaining ytbr to watch play games because his emotions are so explosive and radiant. You can feel his pain, his anger, then his confidence and his accomplishment. Truly an experience with every video not to mention watching him grow and learn all without summoning even a spirit.

Varré didn't bring you there to kill you. He specifically said to wait (which you were right not to bc nothing happens) until Mohg was ready to launch the new dynasty before you sought audience. You essentially went early and betrayed him. Also Miquella is a him.
I think people struggle with the story because it’s very difficult to find the story in the game. I appreciate how ER uses passive storytelling with the environments and NPC but if this is your first FromSoft game, you don’t know what the fuck is Going. I’m in NG+ and besides the basics story from the Trailer and becoming Elden Lord. I don’t know how all these people are connected. I’ve recently found in the Goldmask Quest line that Marika is Radagon (which explains why she turns into a he in the cutscene before the fight) but I don’t know how or why and have no clue on where to find this information besides YT and Google

You pick up bits and pieces from items and npcs and voice lines and over time they click into place to give you an idea of what’s going on. Basically: the lands between is in a giant playground for a bunch of Eldritch gods, each trying to claim it through their respective pieces on the board. There’s a whole lot more that i can say but it depends on your questions and what you want to know

I've noticed that the bosses that afro struggles with the most are the ones that heals themselves.. like that one deer and Mohg. and he has yet to fight Malenia, Miquella's sister. I honestly think he'll legit quit the game after facing her. she's one of those "optional hard bosses" in the game that got fed a mutant combination of steroids and aids

@@thatguywithslantyeyes5902 There are some weapons and skills that will literally keep her from moving. Most people used the Frost Stomp(Before the patch) to keep her locked in place. I however used Morgott's Cursed Sword and she was barely able to do anything the entire fight.
Yesterday I got Mohg down to a nothing health bar. A whisper would have downed him. He pulled out a whole load of BS directly from his asshole and killed me. Every run after that, he brought that same energy. I'm convinced the AI re-wrote itself because it knew... it knew I had it. Very cathartic watching this, thank you. I'm going through the playlist rn
Previously on elden ring. With the ending getting closer in afros sight he decides to take a moment and analyzes the drip. Having another Bulid crisis he sets out on a sidequest to become the last sauske wielder of Lighting and some rocks. Unfortunately for Afro while he sees himself as sauske the last. He becomes kid sauske who's a little bi-. After getting his questionable bulid he fights commander Niall who whoops the Uchiha out of the Senju. Going back to ol faithful he whips niall into submission just how my dad whips me. He defeats the mighty foe and continues on his quest. Will Afro reach the end within the time he wants? Is there more out there to discover then just the end? Is Afro getting a bit to cocky? Next time on. Elden ring the story of afrosenju....
I haven’t played Elden Ring but I been watching gameplay and I’ve seen people fight Mohg before and when Afro walked in and said “this just radiates lame energy” I was like oh boy Mohg ain’t gone like that
Whips can’t be parried with ridiculous hitbox with some of the best roll catches and range they are one of the stronger weapons in game especially in pvp. This is on top of the bleed and frost there isn’t anything really impressive and he changed the build for the jump attack cheese which when built correctly can tear through bosses it’s getting popular in the community currently.
I’ve never seen a man get so humbled so quickly😭 imagine all the attempts and rage moments we didn’t see?!🤣 Nice job beating him Afro but I will tell you there’s someone stronger….and she has never known defeat 😈

I don't even feel this intense when I'm playing Elden Ring, Afro not only with the edits, but his wit is S tier, pure entertainment, amazing content champ.
I would argue that this is one of the best boss fights in the game as well as one of the most difficult with all the blood flame on the ground. Very rewarding fight when you are done though. Very good feeling of accomplishment

Mohg has so much range and his second phase gave him flipping wings. I think I was overleveled too. I don’t really remember though. I found him and Dragonlord Placidusax more difficult than Malenia because I used Rivers of Blood and Black Knife Tiche…and Malenia is weak to bleed (I think). I had to use Wing of Astel to beat Placidusax. I eventually beat Mohg using the same build I did for Malenia (or almost the same). And I think I was overleveled for all the fights. Yeah I know what you’re thinking.

My bet is this was Afro’s last struggle. He has Bleed, frost and Bloodhound step (every weakness of you know who). The moment he realizes spamming Bloodhound on Malenia’s combo is OP then she will go down, nothing will top the Ape videos.
You can dodge her with bh but it still requires some skill. If you just dodge backwards with it she will catch you with the third and forth. And If you dodge all over the place it's the end. But yeah I hope it's better than the ape but low chance

I used to think it was just a bloodborne dash, but BH step deadass makes you completely invincible if you use it nonstop. PVP made me realize it lol. It has for damn near every part of the animation. But unless Afro knows this he’s still probably gonna struggle in the game, cuz I didn’t even know you could spam it for invincibility until recently.

I have killed her many times in co-op and I still see a lot of hosts screwing it up even with bh. This is the only boss I have used bh for, it does not feel right to use it a lot Even though normally you could spam it for infinate i-frames till fp goes out, her flurry hits multiple times per second so she still catches you in that one frame where you just got out
7:07 Funnily enough there is a gimmick, a very out of the way invader NPC drops a thing you can use on your flask of wonderous physic to get rid of the 3 blood loss rings. The item exists quite literally only for this fight.

His first phase isn't so bad. I'm melee and use the bloodhound fang sword.... but his second phase is pretty cheap with the ring stuck around your body where he immediately delivers blood loss damage from the other side of area.
Whats funny is I just checked the channel to see if you uploaded and was sad you hadn't then like 5 seconds later I get the notification that you've uploaded so I'm happy again 😊
Mohg is a test to see if you can actually dodge when he telegraphs attacks or if you just press the button in a panic. And how often you stand there into the fire explosion swinging.
My cousin and I spent three days taking turns trying to beat mohg with a magic build at lvl 107 with no summons… when we finished I didn’t play Elden ring for a week after 😂
Maybe cause fought his brother under the capital first and they have very similar moveset minus the flying move the assassins before him are much more annoying xD

Afro, as a melee build with dual great swords, this fight was hell. I didn’t know about the crystal nor the shackle...managed to beat it after 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS of trying. You did amazingly brother, good shit 🤙🏻🤙🏻
On my first playthrough, I wanted to test a +10 Mimic Tear on Mohg just to see how strong it would be. I had Bloodhound's Fang on when I summoned it and we bodied Mohg so hard, he didn't even have time to take his wings out. Definitely felt like I cheated the fight.

Bloodflame is brutal when it's spread around like that, because of the residual bloodloss build up. Sucks there's only like 2 or 3 moves that do it, I'd love to make a build like that
@@manikkanaga763 its easy with rivers. The inate physical and fire damage is still so good that you dont have to care about the bleed. The AOW give you enough range and still does crazy damage that this weapon doesnt care who you're fighting. Its a busted weapon.

Because of Mohg’s story, I always go for the kill instantly. No messing around, no back and forth. No chance for Phase 2. Just me, my Infinite FP, plus Magic damage Wondrous Physick, the Carian Regal Scepter… and Comet Azur. I delete him so fast he doesn’t stand a chance in hell. Mohg is exactly the kind of villain I believe deserves no respect and should be utterly annihilated the first chance you get, so that’s what I do. Edit: … so about that DLC. This aged like milk lmao
@@txvolf1493 about 70 Int, 30 Mind, 20 End and 30 Vit for a 150 build. Whichever stats you feel most comfortable with being lower, do so to boost another stat but those are around about what you’d need. Also it’s 70 Int specifically so you can use Ranni’s Dark Moon or Rennala’s Full Moon for its debuff when the battle starts. If you’re going uncapped (like my main) then just boost everything as high as you can manage.

Just spam swarm of flies against him or change your main whip's afinity to bleed since he is quite weak against bleed edit: well done, btw you can get his weapon from his remembrance and it also has his ultimate attack where he puts his spear into the air, deals damage and also heals him. It also has the same effect on you which is hella solid

Honestly Malenia will either humble him or cause him to straight up not fight her anymore.
Malenia is really tough but she has one major weakness. You can stun-lock her. The whip might be useful for that.

@@thatguywithslantyeyes5902 There are some weapons and skills that will literally keep her from moving. Most people used the Frost Stomp(Before the patch) to keep her locked in place. I however used Morgott's Cursed Sword and she was barely able to do anything the entire fight.

Yesterday I got Mohg down to a nothing health bar. A whisper would have downed him. He pulled out a whole load of BS directly from his asshole and killed me. Every run after that, he brought that same energy. I'm convinced the AI re-wrote itself because it knew... it knew I had it.

With the ending getting closer in afros sight he decides to take a moment and analyzes the drip. Having another Bulid crisis he sets out on a sidequest to become the last sauske wielder of Lighting and some rocks.
Unfortunately for Afro while he sees himself as sauske the last.
He becomes kid sauske who's a little bi-. After getting his questionable bulid he fights commander Niall who whoops the Uchiha out of the Senju.
Going back to ol faithful he whips niall into submission just how my dad whips me. He defeats the mighty foe and continues on his quest. Will Afro reach the end within the time he wants? Is there more out there to discover then just the end?

I haven’t played Elden Ring but I been watching gameplay and I’ve seen people fight Mohg before and when Afro walked in and said “this just radiates lame energy” I was like oh boy Mohg ain’t gone like that
I'm currently stuck on Mohg in my playthrough and this video has given me the confidence to keep going.
If you haven’t beaten him go through ronin quest line and get his shackle in the shunning grounds
This is actually really impressive, not only is he not using summons … he’s literally using whips.

Whips can’t be parried with ridiculous hitbox with some of the best roll catches and range they are one of the stronger weapons in game especially in pvp. This is on top of the bleed and frost there isn’t anything really impressive and he changed the build for the jump attack cheese which when built correctly can tear through bosses it’s getting popular in the community currently.

I would argue that this is one of the best boss fights in the game as well as one of the most difficult with all the blood flame on the ground. Very rewarding fight when you are done though. Very good feeling of accomplishment

I got Mohg first try no summons, I felt so confident i went straight to Malenia and 3 days later I'm still struggling with her
Mohg has so much range and his second phase gave him flipping wings. I think I was overleveled too. I don’t really remember though. I found him and Dragonlord Placidusax more difficult than Malenia because I used Rivers of Blood and Black Knife Tiche…and Malenia is weak to bleed (I think). I had to use Wing of Astel to beat Placidusax. I eventually beat Mohg using the same build I did for Malenia (or almost the same). And I think I was overleveled for all the fights. Yeah I know what you’re thinking.

My bet is this was Afro’s last struggle. He has Bleed, frost and Bloodhound step (every weakness of you know who). The moment he realizes spamming Bloodhound on Malenia’s combo is OP then she will go down, nothing will top the Ape videos.
You can dodge her with bh but it still requires some skill. If you just dodge backwards with it she will catch you with the third and forth. And If you dodge all over the place it's the end. But yeah I hope it's better than the ape but low chance
@@thetoyodacar2264 bloodhound step doesn’t require any skill as long as you have the fp to spam it. I used to think it was just a bloodborne dash, but BH step deadass makes you completely invincible if you use it nonstop. PVP made me realize it lol. It has for damn near every part of the animation. But unless Afro knows this he’s still probably gonna struggle in the game, cuz I didn’t even know you could spam it for invincibility until recently.

I have killed her many times in co-op and I still see a lot of hosts screwing it up even with bh. This is the only boss I have used bh for, it does not feel right to use it a lot
Even though normally you could spam it for infinate i-frames till fp goes out, her flurry hits multiple times per second so she still catches you in that one frame where you just got out

7:07 Funnily enough there is a gimmick, a very out of the way invader NPC drops a thing you can use on your flask of wonderous physic to get rid of the 3 blood loss rings. The item exists quite literally only for this fight.

I've died to Mohg 98 times so far with no end in sight, its nice to see someone endure my struggle as well LMAO
His first phase isn't so bad. I'm melee and use the bloodhound fang sword.... but his second phase is pretty cheap with the ring stuck around your body where he immediately delivers blood loss damage from the other side of area.
I finally beat him last night after like 120 times lol. His 2nd phase was annoying getting past with all the blood everywhere but I got him
Kited him with my pulley bow the whole time, lmfao.
I was probably overleveled and using op weapons when I beat him, but I don’t really remember.

On my first playthrough, I wanted to test a +10 Mimic Tear on Mohg just to see how strong it would be. I had Bloodhound's Fang on when I summoned it and we bodied Mohg so hard, he didn't even have time to take his wings out. Definitely felt like I cheated the fight.
I had mimic and sword of night and flame and obliterated Mohg💀
This was my experience on my main, but I fought him man to man on a second character. He’s quite a fun fight when you can execute correctly.

Mimic tear really trivialises some fights, I got my mimic tear to aggro him and then spammed meteorite of Astel, he was dead within a minute.

The AOW give you enough range and still does crazy damage that this weapon doesnt care who you're fighting.

Because of Mohg’s story, I always go for the kill instantly. No messing around, no back and forth. No chance for Phase 2. Just me, my Infinite FP, plus Magic damage Wondrous Physick, the Carian Regal Scepter… and Comet Azur. I delete him so fast he doesn’t stand a chance in hell. Mohg is exactly the kind of villain I believe deserves no respect and should be utterly annihilated the first chance you get, so that’s what I do.

Can you tell me what are the requirements for the build?
@@txvolf1493 about 70 Int, 30 Mind, 20 End and 30 Vit for a 150 build. Whichever stats you feel most comfortable with being lower, do so to boost another stat but those are around about what you’d need. Also it’s 70 Int specifically so you can use Ranni’s Dark Moon or Rennala’s Full Moon for its debuff when the battle starts. If you’re going uncapped (like my main) then just boost everything as high as you can manage.
He's just the only one you can fully cheese so you cheese him, there's no backstory thing, just admit it 😂
