I really like this head, especially the shape of it because it seems very versatile when it comes to shape compared to most if not all the male heads on Second Life which lean intensely masculine. I think if I didn't already have a LeLutka head (got Alain free during the holidays) and wasn't too picky about animations and stuff, I would grab this in a heartbeat!
I agree with you! I think it’s a great alternative to the Lelutka head, and Akeruka are definitely one to keep an eye on. I think their versions are just going to keep improving as they seem very committed to developing something unique for the head market 👌

Absolutely LOVE, how specific you were with everything and I could actually understand you, compared to other tutorials ...my head literally hurt trying to understand what they were saying through the thick accents! Just wanna add 1 thing, I'm new to this BOM stuff and was racking my brain trying to figure out how to add even a demo skin onto my male alt's head. I notice you did say in the video it is important to add the Alpha Mask for - BOM Head/Body, Applier Eyes - which however, did not come with the free head. So I went to Lelutka and got a demo head and there was one in there, I added it like you said, but it still wasn't working. About to give up, I realized I had a "whole body" alpha on too and as soon as I took that off the appliers worked..I think I did a 5 min happy dance! So with that being said, if anyone is as clueless as I was in regards to BOM, make sure to take off all your old alpha's and only use one that doesnt alpha your head too or this will not work! =D P.S. I'm in love with your accent and could listen to it all day long!! =]
Hey Katrina, thanks for the message :) BOM can be a lot to get your head around - no pun intended! I’m glad you stuck with it. It sometimes makes it more difficult to explain because everybody has slightly different configurations. But your note above is helpful. Thanks for the feedback, glad you like my accent haha :)
I made sure to grab this on my male alt, thanks for the heads up! It is really worth joining/staying in the AK group if you like mesh heads, because this is far from the first free/extremely cheap group gift head they've had. :)

check your 'worn' tab. It sounds like you are wearing an extra alpha layer which causes it to turn red. Google "Bom red head" if my video is so unhelpful.
I produced this video prior to Evo X being released. I'm not 100% sure if it's compatible with Evo X . They have a range of different heads so I suspect some of them are. Best to demo it with a demo of an Evo X Skin.
That must have been an error which you bypassed. I also tried, and it failed. From the creators point of view, there needs to be some kind of exchange for giving away such an high quality expensive gift - usually that’s loyalty through becoming a group member :)
