+Alexander Ossa Yep! he is way faster than what you are seeing. while filming the movie, Lee was asked many times to slow down his moves so cameras can capture them...
Guess what, some of the normal scene were the slow motions of the actual filming speed, he s that damn fast that director had to do something to make sure viewers are able to see the moves.
Been watching Bruce since I was a kid. There has never been anyone better for me anyways. I used some of those kick-block techniques(blocking the opponents kicks) they really worked fantastically!! His blocks and feints were and are very practical, you have to work on it, but you can get that down. Take away the thought about doing and just let your mind and body react without thought.

Bruce might not have fought in real tournaments. But he had the physical attributes of a fighter and the smarts. If Bruce Lee had fought he would have been champion in his weight class.
Yes of course - bis speed and power was out of this world! But his concept of martial art was made for the street...hit 2 groin, finger jabs, the neck as target! What I mean is, Bruce would could kill his opponent without problems! This man was incredible and unique
Many people who have commented here seem to be overlooking his pre-movie success as a Martial Arts coach and innovator and pioneeri of a number of unusual training techniques to increase speed and improve precision and the development of Jeep Kung Do... a legacy that continues to this day.
Brilliant choreography. I guess we cannot necessarily compare screen fight scenes to real street fight scenes as there is no way to qualify the authenticity except by testimony, or raw footage. In any case, the choreography should be applauded as supreme, and the physical attributes of Mr Lee, sublime.
He is absolutely the one & only- the best of the best , hands down! Truly, my personal hero & idol growing up & still is after all these years. Keep up the good work Shannan in keeping his legacy alive & still well respected all over the globe!
He was actually so fast he had to slow down for the camera, true story. If only back then they had high FPS cameras... the true slow motion of bruce, frame by frame, would go beyond your imagination.
@John Bencomo It's a fact cause you say it is? I'll give you some facts. Fact, he was skinny, Fact, he was weak, Fact he was an actor, Fact only competition he ever won was a cha cha contest in Hong Kong where Cha Cha dancing is amateur at best. He was a skinny weak boy. And note no name calling needed.
Unlike most choreographed fights, Lee's actions scenes are for real. That's why we see so many hidden movements when we slow them down. Watching his films this way is actually very educational if you want to learn how to fight in real world. Same cannot be said for most other martial arts films. Trying to learn from those will likely get yourself killed in real fights, LOL.
Only thing Bruce ever won was a cha cha dancing competition.... and maybe if he was lucky .... a noodle eating contest, however judging by how skinny he was poor thing.... I even doubt that.
The bestest film ever. Bruce Lee, was my idol, my poem, my teacher, my mentor with his great words and techniques, His portrait was in the main place at home, and when I was training from the teenager! Exactly...and imagine him fighting to the death ! In full combat competition, men woulda died ! Competition including ufc or any other....instant death !

in all the fighting scenes, Bruce lee was able to punch and hit and kick as close to his co actors without actually touching them.... that's the real awesome part of it all.
all these scenes were choreographed with no physical contact from the kicks and punches, only the blocking movments have contact. His home videos, however, show just how fast and powerful Bruce was using boxing punch bags and arm pads.
Asa Forte: that was a question with excellent foresight. That's like asking Muhammad Ali if he could have beaten himself in shadow boxing. LOL. I once heard a rumor that the only person Bruce Lee was concerned of in the boxing ring was Muhammad Ali. Ali claimed he was so fast that if he turned off the light in his bedroom, he could be lying down in the bed before the light went out. Bruce had great respect for Muhammad Ali. I know of no other person Bruce Lee ever claimed to have been concerned about. I invite others to add to this statement or contadict it. I'm just looking for the truth of what Bruce Lee once may have said.
people might think oh he is so skinny how could any of his punches hurt. Listen, take a little stone, and throw it up in the air and let it land on your head. Now think of how much that hurts. When you punch objects thousands of times, it creates tiny hairline fractures that heal up over time, making the bones in which soever part of the body you practice with much more dense and harder. Now imagine the speed of bruce lee's fist hitting your face. Harder than a rock.
Lee had dangerous power which would always result in death or knockouts! Lee's power made Tyson look like a tickle! Lee had speed faster than the legendary Muhammad Ali, Ali was fast but not invisible blinding speed like Lee! Lee is the greatest warrior of his time but perhaps all time!
+Akbar Great ... Hello I personally agree with you that Bruce Lee had a more stronger and powerful punch than Tyson. For Bruce size and technique and took a mathematical calculation of PSI of his punch. I would put money on bruce that for his body weight, mass and size his Psi would be a higher than Mike Tyson. Yes I know Tyson is a heavy weight but if you even out and calculate the speed and simply sublime speed of Bruce Lee. I genuinely think Bruce Lee would have a higher and stronger punch rate. ps. ( PSI = Pressure by Square Inch. ). But I suppose we will never know. Either way Bruce Lee individual style and Mike Tyson style are completely subjective, therefore my assumptions of strength is based on my personal perspective and without proper research and calculations I could be wrong until proven. so until then I will agree with Akbar and say Bruce Lees punches is stronger and definitely faster than Mike Tyson.
Bruce Lee was so far ahead of his times its difficult to imagine. His training and physical preparation was way beyond anybody of that era that specialized in fitness training. For instance he trained strength that was completely functional, which is why he was so muscular but not big. He specifically used intense forearm exercise and trained hard at speed conditioning as well. Everything had a purpose related to fighting. His physical skill was such that he almost never did a single punch or kick without also using a feint, block, trapping or a combination of all three along with strikes. It’s so second nature and fast it’s difficult to notice without the use of slow motion. His physical skills were at a level where his mind was free to focus entirely on strategy-but he was even beyond that level of skill. When he would say things like “It hits all by itself” he is referring to being so in the moment or flow that he was not actively “thinking” but reacting at a level of skill derived from practicing physical and mental techniques so advanced that athletes cannot even perceive what it means to possess such a high degree of skill. I would venture a guess that his skill approached a spiritual level often referred to by Shaolin monks and other forms of Kung Fu-but never caught on film-except by Bruce Lee. The closest thing we have today are elite MMA athletes whose level of fitness possibly approaches that of Bruce Lee’s-however nobody has eve approximated his degree of skill or speed. Today, they here is a very young boxer and a teenage martial artists (whose names escape me) whose abilities in the ring are very much “in the moment “and highly instinctual and very impressive in their effectiveness. And I would also say Floyd Mayweather Jr is close to this degree of ring, or situational awareness. That is to say that these 3 athletes are so totally focused in the ring that their reactions are so instinctual that a formal thought process is no longer necessary. But Bruce Lee remains in a class all by himself decades later.
J Wilton---I don't know if you're still 'Out There," but, I FEEL ya! At age 15, I was Captivated by this young, charismatic Asian man. I was taking a Kaju Kenpo class at the time, which was actually a good System, taught by a Wise and learned Instructor. Strange thing; Just by watching Green Hornet for a few months, my skill level Jumped dramatically! Two months after THAT, I was beating Brown Belts----and I was just an Orange Belt. I entered competition, upon my teachers request, and wound up Undefeated...I kid you NOT! I learned to be extremely innovative in my training. Lee was the very BEST! It wasn't the Martial Arts Bruce guided me in----it was a Fitness life-Style, which I continue to pursue to this Day! Thank you, Mr. Lee!
Watching it once the fight scenes in his films will already amaze you but watching it over and over multiple times you will really see how good the Choreography he's done and how wonderful to watch him show his skills in martial arts...!!!
@@bechelerroseme6821 he actually started acting at a very young age, and his dad took him to Grandmaster Yip Man to learn Win Chun. Moreover, it wasn't covered or documented enough how he also learned other styles of martial arts with other prominent masters in his younger days, and when he came back in his birth place America in his early adulthood he furthermore associated himself with more martial artists while absorbing and learning as well as improving his skills.
His best feint in a movie was not shown in the video. It is the outdoor fight between Bruce Lee and Bob Wall in The Way of the Dragon. Bruce front kicks twice to Bob's hand and then feint a third kick to the hand again only to go upstairs to the head ... all in one motion. It was an awesome display of supreme skill, speed, and precision from a true master of the martial arts.
for those suspect Lee s martial art technique in reality, just look into the video more deeply ! look at His speed, 封手再打 please look at that carefully, you even cannot predict his body movement before the guy was being hit I assume martial art s skillful individuals can obtain a sound strength and movement but for the speed movement thing, I even cannot find ANYONE can reach such a crazy speed as Lee did When it comes to Kung fu or so called martial art or whatever, SPEED is the dominating factors in a true fight, Kung Fu s fighters are used to having a thoughtful strategy to protect their weakness parts of the body such as neck and chest see lee s motion here he actually can enter their opponents body well before they were gone to realise and respond. And see his fake action, many punches kicks or hits there were actually INSIDE or else a optimum position to EITHER KILL OR BADLY HURT his enemies. if he was not in a picture, I reckon he can even kill enemies in such a level in seconds !
its a MOVIE YOU IDIOT its a fight scene that Lee choreographed himself it's very easy to look good when you know what's coming and know what's happening hours and hours of rehearsal I think the fight with Norris was about 45 hours rehearsal its a dance step by step move by move get your head out of your ass

In my will, he is the best kung fu fighter until now since he trained very hard and kept improving in his life.
and this is just acting in a movie, I can't imagine how better he was in real life
+Alexander Ossa Yep! he is way faster than what you are seeing. while filming the movie, Lee was asked many times to slow down his moves so cameras can capture them...
Yeah I know
Bruce Lee was like DBZ in real Life!
+Alexander Ossa ::: He had the skill to *not* hit... Else he would kill the actors.
true
Damn, even in slow mo he seems fast...crazy.
Guess what, some of the normal scene were the slow motions of the actual filming speed, he s that damn fast that director had to do something to make sure viewers are able to see the moves.
Xinlun Yao
Seriously!
Fucking right.
Creepy music.
Thank you for taking the time to put this together. I train whenever I can (@35 hrs or more each week) so do not have much time left to watch videos.
Finally tonight I do.
I've seen every film & many more but I will never get tired of Bruce Lee 🙏
I'm very happy that I do a lot of these moves naturally,.
Though not as fast as Bruce Lee 🙏.
I hope to honour Bruce Lee 🙏 and Shoa-lin 🙏☯️
Bruce might not have fought in real tournaments. But he had the physical attributes of a fighter and the smarts. If Bruce Lee had fought he would have been champion in his weight class.
Nathan All weight classes, catch weight champion!!!
Yes of course - bis speed and power was out of this world! But his concept of martial art was made for the street...hit 2 groin, finger jabs, the neck as target! What I mean is, Bruce would could kill his opponent without problems! This man was incredible and unique
No doubt he would’ve been a champion if he wanted to, easy.
Bruce Lee n Mike Tyson, both legends. were street fighter

The best Martial Artist ever. Fact .
Even in slow motion you could barely see him striking. he was so fast
incredible human specimen in motion!
Bruce lee is the best fighter in the world.
was.
Bruce lee very hard working in maintain the body developing muscles... body firness.. for example
He doing push up in one time 400 above
Fantastic job, making all this slow motion, thank you so much.
Incredible! Bruce will forever be the greatest martial artist of all time,*
He is absolutely the one & only- the best of the best , hands down!
He holds the record six kicks per second
Nonsense.
@@davidmotapais5679 nonsense is a wonderer like you,Hater
Do you know anything about cameras and how they work? Please do not answer because you have already done so with your support of this FPS comment.
I just love the choreographic starting at 4:32. Can watch it all day!
A skill within a skill.
+Real Talk you on drugs
.
Unlike most choreographed fights, Lee's actions scenes are for real. That's why we see so many hidden movements when we slow them down. Watching his films this way is actually very educational if you want to learn how to fight in real world. Same cannot be said for most other martial arts films. Trying to learn from those will likely get yourself killed in real fights, LOL.
simply my hero
Bruce is the boss, sorry Chuck.

*Is
Hell yeah!
I am sure Chuck knows.
@Jack Mehan , now let me think. How I can make the great jack mehan realise how great an artist Bruce Lee was. Ummm. Take a hike bozo.
Only thing Bruce ever won was a cha cha dancing competition.... and maybe if he was lucky .... a noodle eating contest, however judging by how skinny he was poor thing.... I even doubt that.
Incredible. So much speed, and control.
The bestest film ever. Bruce Lee, was my idol, my poem, my teacher, my mentor with his great words and techniques, His portrait was in the main place at home, and when I was training from the teenager! The greatest man who had no tax or girdle because he was above them! Absolute respect and bow! from old BG.

Exactly...and imagine him fighting to the death ! In full combat competition, men woulda died ! Competition including ufc or any other....instant death !
Awesome.. Faster than bullet.. Love u Bruce Lee.. The true legend
Beautiful presentation, thanks for posting! ✊🖑 ☯
That's why Bruce Lee is a legend. There are too many unnoticed movements which could confuse even a martial art champion. He was too fast to be caught.

I just noticed he blocks and hits at once, that's his secret. No wonder he was so amazing.
Even his blocks were strikes
Thats wing chun

БРЮС ЛИ-ЧЕЛОВЕК ЛЕГЕНДА! ЛУЧШИЙ!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍...👍
all these scenes were choreographed with no physical contact from the kicks and punches, only the blocking movments have contact. His home videos, however, show just how fast and powerful Bruce was using boxing punch bags and arm pads.
I wonder if he would have been fast enough to block his own hits
Asa Forte stalemate I think.
Asa Forte He would know his own feints too.
The word I does not exist!
Genius misdirection!
Video is well done...Enjoyed it.
What incredible young man he was. May he's soul, rest in peace and his legacy, lives on forever. #TheDragon
Trải qua mấy chục năm rồi Xem lại Lý Tiểu Long vẫn là số 1
people might think oh he is so skinny how could any of his punches hurt.
Sir Lance Goodthrust Bruce had power more than Tyson! Fact!
Serajul Islam Bruce had superhuman work ethic and sometimes even sacrificed sleep in order to meditate and train! He literally breathed fighting!
+Zach taylor You can do a simpler explanation of that. Think of how little a bullet weighs.

At age
15, I was Captivated by this young, charismatic Asian man. I was
taking a Kaju Kenpo class at the time, which was actually a good
System, taught by a Wise and learned Instructor. Strange thing;
Just by watching Green Hornet for a few months, my skill level
Jumped dramatically! Two months after THAT, I was beating
Brown Belts----and I was just an Orange Belt.
I entered competition, upon my teachers request, and wound up
Undefeated...I kid you NOT! I learned to be extremely innovative
in my training.
Lee was the very BEST! It wasn't the Martial Arts Bruce guided me
in----it was a Fitness life-Style, which I continue to pursue to this
Day!
Thank you, Mr. Lee!
I love his style of fighting
Watching it once the fight scenes in his films will already amaze you but watching it over and over multiple times you will really see how good the Choreography he's done and how wonderful to watch him show his skills in martial arts...!!!
And you have idiots accuse Bruce Lee is just an actor.
@@scottsummers684 I know that. I saw a document on Bruce.
They sure broke the mould after Bruce Lee was born..........Legend.
Bruce lee siempre estaras en mi mente el maestro de un estilo nadie podra igualarte Bruce y brandon 😁😁😁😉
Super video 💪💪💪👍👍👍
you can see the speed and strength bruce lee has...kicks and punches are very accurate. .
Hes speed and timing was one of a kind.Does Little moves he are doing just Before he attacks or intercept is Beautiful then WHACK!
for those suspect Lee s martial art technique in reality, just look into the video more deeply ! look at His speed, 封手再打 please look at that carefully, you even cannot predict his body movement before the guy was being hit I assume martial art s skillful individuals can obtain a sound strength and movement but for the speed movement thing, I even cannot find ANYONE can reach such a crazy speed as Lee did
When it comes to Kung fu or so called martial art or whatever, SPEED is the dominating factors in a true fight, Kung Fu s fighters are used to having a thoughtful strategy to protect their weakness parts of the body such as neck and chest see lee s motion here he actually can enter their opponents body well before they were gone to realise and respond. And see his fake action, many punches kicks or hits there were actually INSIDE or else a optimum position to EITHER KILL OR BADLY HURT his enemies. if he was not in a picture, I reckon he can even kill enemies in such a level in seconds !
Boxing
its a MOVIE YOU IDIOT its a fight scene that Lee choreographed himself it's very easy to look good when you know what's coming and know what's happening hours and hours of rehearsal I think the fight with Norris was about 45 hours rehearsal its a dance step by step move by move
