- Here I'm comparing the Astro A30 Wireless 2022 edition with the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro. These are two wireless headsets with appealing features in terms of sound, mic quality, connectivity and more. They're quite different in some ways and therefore worth comparing.

The highlights of the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro include:
An impressive microphone
Lightweight headset design that makes it comfortable to wear for hours
Tuned EQ profiles for specific games as well as THX spatial audio
Earcups that block out a decent amount of noise without getting too hot
Decent battery life
Lowlights of the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro:
Lacks simultaneous dual connectivity (i.e. Bluetooth and wireless at the same time)

I have two questions for you on the Astro A30s okay so I just purchased one that I know it's been like 10 months already out those headphones and I wanted to know if they had any updates that fixed anything on them whatsoever so I know if they're still good to keep when I get them or should I return them like do they get better? orrrr it's just whatever? Love the astros A30! Just wish I can buy different ear pads for them
The pads are replaceable just need a plastic pry tool or a guitar pick,I got v2 pro early 2020 I replaced the pads last year it comes with the mounting plastic so you need to worry about accidentally breaking em when removing it .
a50 or blackshark v2 pro? i have blackshark but im looking to upgrade to something are a50 better?
Can you use the razor mic on the a30’s?
When I speak in the razor I hear a weird sound I can’t even explain but it sounds like I’m in a tunnel. I don’t know if that’s normal. It sound like my voice isn’t me but when I speak in my old Astro a40 I would like myself. What do you think. I’m sorry I can’t explain it better
Did you try the Blackshark mic on the A30's? Curious to see if it fits and sounds better
Afraid not.
It's not the actual boom mic that is so much better, it is the mic amp in the 2023 version.
I have Astro A50's from 2015 or 2016 when I played BO3 on PS4, I've used PC for years now and was thinking of getting the Razer Blackshark v2 Pro's... do you think it's worth the upgrade?
My A50's are quite annoying also because the headband always comes off the top and my neck hurts wearing it sometimes tbh.
I just got my Razor Blackhawk V2 pro (2023) version from Best Buy and it's a banger. I have no complaints. I play alot of COD and I can hear footsteps and everything clear. They are comfortable, you can do alot of settings and adjustments

Can anyone comment on how well they pick up on footsteps when playing fps games? I mostly play COD and I’m leaning more towards the Razer because of the custom tuning.

My guy dont but headsets with pleather its comfortable but ur ears will sweat after a while pf usage

I have it the 2023 version and there is no Noise at all for me idk if u have try updating the filmware
