You made me wonder if maybe another method could be just over fill, bring to temp, then just open the check plug to let excess out until a dribble…. I changed my GX 470 transmission fluid at 170k when I purchased it. It was only done one other time at 90k. I did it anyway and it ran great. Lexus recommends a change every 60k.

did you take it to the dealer for your transmission service ? how much was it ? mine hasn’t been done at 96 miles
