I made this last week and it was super easy and delicious! After we ate all the chicken and only gravy was left my husband insisted I save it. He ate the leftover gravy the next day with rice and bread. He loved it! This will definitely be one of my go to meals when I’m running short on time. Thanks again for sharing Bumbi 😊

Just made this for a family meal I brought to my parent’s house. Everyone LOVED it! I will make it again for sure. I used skinless thighs and had to alter spices slightly to what I had but I mostly followed it spot on and it was really really good. Coconut rice and broccoli salad on the side. Yum. Thank you!!! 👏

Love this recipe! I ran out of chili powder on the 3rd try and used Thai chili paste (same proportions) and it came out nicely spiced. Also, this is great with quartered fresh mushrooms added to the dish.

You won’t believe but even I do that because it is hard to find the right one amidst everything and sometimes when I do not have time on hand I just keep asking the shopkeeper and don’t care if he/she gets annoyed 😀.

I just made my first yogurt marinaded chicken last week and I messed up real bad. I'm used to putting tomato in my masala. So I ended up using both tomato AND yogurt. BIG BIG mistake. Way too much acid. Thanks for showing us how it's done. You confirmed the mistake I thought I made is the mistake I actually made and gave me the confidence to try again!
Whenever yogurt is used in any recipe using minimum amount of tomatoes is always a good idea. You can also add sugar to cut out that acidity. Glad you found this video useful and thanks for leaving a comment 🙏🏾

Making it now. Don't think i had enough yogurt, maybe a little less than a cup. Added turmeric. Don't have coriander nor chili powder so I used cayenne. Smelling good baking as I'm typing this. Was curious about creamy curry like dishes. Glad I found this channel!

Tried this recipe two days ago and the taste was really delicious. I reduced the amount of chilli also I added 1 chicken stock to the 1 cup of water (boiled water then let it cool down before adding to the mix). I reduced the amount of salt to 1 and half Tsp. because I added chicken stock. The gravy is awesome so next time I cook this recipe, I will add more water.

Yes definitely you can slow cook it in karhai. I would add the cornflour at the end. Mix little water with cornflour and add it at the end to thicken up gravy. In karahi you may need to add little splashes of water from time to time if you see things drying up.

Yes definitely Nitadi. You can make it with tofu/paneer. The cooking time will be less and use just half a cup of yogurt and 1 tablespoon cornflour.
