- In this episode of VideoGame O.R. we go over how to turn a Raspberry Pi Pico into a NAND flasher for the Xbox 360.
This flasher cannot be used to flash timing files to any Xbox 360 mod chips. If you wish to do so you will need to use a Nand-X or JrProgrammer.

thanks for this! it's really helpful being able to visually see all the steps with finicky things like modding
I remember the Nand-X I loved the Xecuter products back in the day. Great video I'm happy to see some of the old hacks getting an update to modern hardware.
I bricked my 360 while trying to update it and I was looking for a jr programmer to flash the original update file onto the nand I couldn’t find one then I came across this video and I will order a pico and flash it thanks❤
Edit: I did it and flashed the nand with pico it flashed successfully but I’m pretty sure the problem was with the mod chip but still useful
Straight to the point, … thank you for sharing
Great video again! But Man you guys are so underrated
Nice and simple guide, thanks mate
Glad it could help
i putt the file in the pico and its show up in J-Runner but when i unplug the pico from usb and put it again in usb the file was deleted in pico and dont show up in J-Runner
question, you mention in the description something about timing files, what exactly is it?
Timing files are required for glitch chips. The pico boot doesn't use them
What soldering iron do you recommend mine sucks and i dont qant to sell my arm and leg for a aolderong iron can you recommend me a cheep one please
Hi, I have a link to the soldering station I use in the description. You may want to get some lead solder as it's easier to work with.
So I looked up the Pico Flasher on Amazon and it showed a listing from Raspberry Pi that has 2MB of storage built-in. Would this make any difference when doing this mod or does it not matter?
Is this for RGH3 only?
Yes
does this work with the pico 2?
To the extent of my knowledge just the original pico is supported at the moment
hi, can i use a rpi3 for this?
This just works on the Pico as far as I know
Does this pico work for modding a phat 360 ?
It will work if you're using the rgh3 method. If your planning to use a mod chip you'll need a Jr programmer or nand x
Does the MODEL of pico matter?
Should work if it's the raspberry-pi Pico. if you want one with confirmed compatibility, we have a link in the description for the one used in the video.
@@MCDNetwork thanks.
I see RP pico (w) and " regular pico
@MCDNetwork
Did all the steps and messed up at very end somehow
I rest and deleted some stuff now it says CONSOLE NOT FOUND
Man I currently have a raspberry pi 3 b+ and I can't get the pico right now, is there something I can do with it?
Can you use the pico to flash a glitch ship ?
It looks like that's a feature currently being worked on
It works !!! , was able to follow your instructions and also the “dirtypico360” to flash the glitch chip (Matrix v3)
Support windows 7 ?
Maybe, you could try it
I just programmed a glitch chip with a pico
You're awesome! You have made the channel that I've always wanted to make! Ya'll have a Discord or anything that people can join?
Actual productive and constructive useful electronic stuff with a touch of theatrics and humor. Brilliant.
Thank you, we do have a MCD Network Discord channel you can join here: discord.gg/9HHuTbmNnx
Does it matter what Pico it is? I'm thinking of getting the non-Pro version.
As long as it's an official pi pico you should be fine.

Thanks a lot!
This'll be my first time doing some soldering too, so I'm kinda nervous (Have the Xbox Slim Halo Reach Edition which I really like).
Wish modding the 360 was as easy as modding a PS1/2/3 but it's an opportunity to learn some hard skills.
Was soldering and the solder iron broke half way through
Ooof, Sorry to hear that.
Yeah I think it might of just been the adapters safety feature so I'll try again later
@@MCDNetwork Also love your vids, I only watched you for rgh-ing my xbox
