It's great to get in a 'flow' but IMHO these 1+ 2+ hours mixes are completely useless since there is a loop function in youtube. Both in browser and on phone. (Right click on the video and check the menu. The original 8 minute video can be 8+ hours long if you want. :)
As much as I love the original version, I prefer this version any time. It's one of those tracks that you can listen to over and over. It's just so beautiful and relaxing.

I just got the results of an MRI I had done on my abdomen. It was done because of continual elevated liver enzymes in my blood. The results show a 2.5 cm liver lesion or just under one inch. It’s highly suggestive of HCC or hepatocellular carcinoma. I’ll find out more in 4 days as my Gastroenterologist will be meeting with other specialists. This is to determine how to proceed next. I’m experiencing anxiety and this music is helping me stay calm. I’ll be playing it nonstop. At least I haven’t been cheated. I’ll turn 72 next month. So many young people have passed on due to war and poverty among many other things. The people who have died for our country, our safety and way of life. I hope they somehow get a second chance. I like to think for every beginning there is an end and for every end there is a new beginning.

I love this track. However, it would be appropriate, I think, to clearly identify the composers - Tangerine dream, Edgar Froese - and the origin of the piece as the soundtrack of a 1985 film Risky Business
When I first saw "Risky Business" back in the 80's, I went to see it with my Dad's GF, she was a lot younger than him, actually closer to my age really. I really liked her a lot and being that we got along really well together, in my foolish youthful mind, I imagined every time that we did anything together that we were "on a date". LOL Yeah, I really liked her a lot and cared a lot about her. It was almost like we were tossed together by fate or that's how my mind felt and honestly, I felt that way as well. Dad was in his 40's at this time and had developed severe motion sickness and being that Dad integrated me into their daytime activities or he integrated her into our daytime weekend activities, I don't know but being that this was the first GF that I was ever really around of his and he had always in the years prior never been around on the weekends, my Grandparents raised me most of my young life. But I digressed, whenever he took me to the amusement park, or maybe whenever he took her to the amusement park, she & I really loved the fast chaotic rides, she & I had someone to ride with as like I said, Dad had severe motion sickness. She was a terrific lady, great personality, slight country accent, adorably cute, my mind tried hard not to view her as "sexy" but it was all there, in one cute little package. It wasn't hard to see what Dad saw it her. LOL Being a younger lady to Dad's middle age, she loved to dress young; she loved her miniskirts, tennis skirts, mini dresses, crop top t-shirts, Reeboks, you know, all those special things that make a 20 something look cute and dare I say "sexy". LOL Anyway, in time and for whatever reasons, Dad split up with this lovely lady, he was nuts I felt at the time. Almost a year later after they split, I happened across this little lady in a store while she was shopping and I walked along with her and kept her company while she shopped and afterwards, we ended up going to grab a bite, nothing huge or anything just a sit down and eat or conversation remembering the past. LOL We hit it off and we picked up where we left off kinda. Over the coming months we started hanging out more and more and this lead to us finally get deeper into a relationship, my very first real and true relationship with an older lady (I was 20 now and she was 28). It was a real thrill for me, being with an "older" lady. LOL Finally, all those foolish schoolboy thoughts and fantasies I had kept at bay in respect for my Dad, were finally coming to fruition and it was finally all open territory for me. Being that we all lived in a small town and Dad was the local Rock DJ, music has always been a key and important part of my life ever since I could remember and my Dad and I were very close despite his wild weekends before. I finally told Dad the story about her and I running into each other months before and hitting it off. He was cool with it all and joked with me about it from time to time as well. This all important first relationship was everything to me and where I was really just coming into this whole thing new, I let her take the lead, I had proclivities or hang ups with letting her lead because I wanted this to be perfect and she knew what she wanted and I just wanted her to be the happiest that she could be. We spent many years together, very happy years, years that have formed a warm, cozy, comfy memory for me now that I've grown older, like me dear Dad. It's really weird how life works as I look back now. When I was near 40 myself, I met a young lady by the same name, we hit it off really well and started hanging out then after a bit, started dating and she was like her older namesake; the cute slight country accent, adorably cute, proclivity for mini skirts crop tops, mini dresses, Reeboks; it was like she was a reboot of her namesake. LOL This song, "Love On A Real Train" was the song that started it all though. This was the song from "Risky Business" that was playing when I started falling for the original lady and it was oddly playing when I met next one. LOL Now I come out here and cue this version up sometimes and still in the darkness of my room and just ponder where all the time has gone. That original lady, she passed away a few years after she moved away, she was just about 35. Her younger namesake being raised with modern morals, started doing stupid things and we didn't see eye to eye. Though I still cared about her, I had to let her go her own way. She married a real redneck, wife beater type. She quickly got knocked up by Bubba, that's not his real name, his real name is far worse. LOL My dear Dad, he finally passed in 2018 after a very horrible life after he remarried a gold digger and they had a bastard daughter that married a convicted sex offender, the type that other murderers would kill in prison. Yeah, life is a funny thing. :( If you've stuck in here with me through this, please say a prayer for me.

When I first saw "Risky Business" back in the 80's, I went to see it with my Dad's GF, she was a lot younger than him, actually closer to my age really. I really liked her a lot and being that we got along really well together, in my foolish youthful mind, I imagined every time that we did anything together that we were "on a date". LOL Yeah, I really liked her a lot and cared a lot about her. It was almost like we were tossed together by fate or that's how my mind felt and honestly, I felt that way as well. Dad was in his 40's at this time and had developed severe motion sickness and being that Dad integrated me into their daytime activities or he integrated her into our daytime weekend activities, I don't know but being that this was the first GF that I was ever really around of his and he had always in the years prior never been around on the weekends, my Grandparents raised me most of my young life. But I digressed, whenever he took me to the amusement park, or maybe whenever he took her to the amusement park, she & I really loved the fast chaotic rides, she & I had someone to ride with as like I said, Dad had severe motion sickness.
She was a terrific lady, great personality, slight country accent, adorably cute, my mind tried hard not to view her as "sexy" but it was all there, in one cute little package. It wasn't hard to see what Dad saw it her. LOL Being a younger lady to Dad's middle age, she loved to dress young; she loved her miniskirts, tennis skirts, mini dresses, crop top t-shirts, Reeboks, you know, all those special things that make a 20 something look cute and dare I say "sexy". LOL Anyway, in time and for whatever reasons, Dad split up with this lovely lady, he was nuts I felt at the time.
Almost a year later after they split, I happened across this little lady in a store while she was shopping and I walked along with her and kept her company while she shopped and afterwards, we ended up going to grab a bite, nothing huge or anything just a sit down and eat or conversation remembering the past. LOL We hit it off and we picked up where we left off kinda. Over the coming months we started hanging out more and more and this lead to us finally get deeper into a relationship, my very first real and true relationship with an older lady (I was 20 now and she was 28). It was a real thrill for me, being with an "older" lady. LOL Finally, all those foolish schoolboy thoughts and fantasies I had kept at bay in respect for my Dad, were finally coming to fruition and it was finally all open territory for me.
Being that we all lived in a small town and Dad was the local Rock DJ, music has always been a key and important part of my life ever since I could remember and my Dad and I were very close despite his wild weekends before. I finally told Dad the story about her and I running into each other months before and hitting it off. He was cool with it all and joked with me about it from time to time as well.
This all important first relationship was everything to me and where I was really just coming into this whole thing new, I let her take the lead, I had proclivities or hang ups with letting her lead because I wanted this to be perfect and she knew what she wanted and I just wanted her to be the happiest that she could be. We spent many years together, very happy years, years that have formed a warm, cozy, comfy memory for me now that I've grown older, like me dear Dad.
It's really weird how life works as I look back now. When I was near 40 myself, I met a young lady by the same name, we hit it off really well and started hanging out then after a bit, started dating and she was like her older namesake; the cute slight country accent, adorably cute, proclivity for mini skirts crop tops, mini dresses, Reeboks; it was like she was a reboot of her namesake. LOL
This song, "Love On A Real Train" was the song that started it all though. This was the song from "Risky Business" that was playing when I started falling for the original lady and it was oddly playing when I met next one. LOL
Now I come out here and cue this version up sometimes and still in the darkness of my room and just ponder where all the time has gone. That original lady, she passed away a few years after she moved away, she was just about 35. Her younger namesake being raised with modern morals, started doing stupid things and we didn't see eye to eye. Though I still cared about her, I had to let her go her own way. She married a real redneck, wife beater type. She quickly got knocked up by Bubba, that's not his real name, his real name is far worse. LOL
My dear Dad, he finally passed in 2018 after a very horrible life after he remarried a gold digger and they had a bastard daughter that married a convicted sex offender, the type that other murderers would kill in prison.
Yeah, life is a funny thing. :(
