Wow. I applaud your dedication to this and congratulate you for doing it. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I definitely need to start small with maybe doing a few things in the privacy of my own yard and home. Very encouraging video thank you.
I am in awe that you can do a pull-up with ease. Wow ! How often do you train? Confidence only works if you stop comparing yourself to others.. I like that. I am going to put that quote in my Common Place book. You are a boss scaling those walls! It is so much fun to watch you navigate those obstacles. Have you competed at all?
Thanks! I train three times per week usually. I participated in a local competition earlier this month. The categories were 18+ women or over 35 which included men and women. So I was either competing with teenagers or men. There were actually 9 women there (out of about 65 total people) and many were over 40. There was a 71 year old woman that competed as well.
Depending on where you live it can be tricky to find a parkour gym. I happen to live in an area that has 4 parkour gyms within a 50 mile radius but I know some states don't have any. You might try searching for a Ninja Warrior gym because they usually offer parkour. Also, you might try searching for natural or functional movement classes or animal flow. These use similar movements but can be done in a more confined space. Sometimes people offer outdoor classes in some areas but those can be difficult to find and are seasonal. I plan on making some tutorials for beginners in the future where you can use everyday objects as obstacles. Good luck and let me know if you find something!
Apparently, there is a really cool Ninja playground in Wilmington. newcastle.macaronikid.com/directory/662fe1e61546ac3e58939b70/ninjafit-playground_-wilmington-de It's not a class but looks like a cool place to play. Maybe in the summer someone will offer classes there.
@ thanks! I will check it out… that’s quite a ways from where I live, but maybe if I start talking to some of these places, someone will start offering it! I’m in love with this!
Great message, I love anything that makes a person change up their mindset about themselves!
Thank you!

Thank you!
I called some of the gymnastics gyms around here and none of them offer this… how do you (me/i) find a parkour gym? I love this concept!

@ I will… I’m in Delaware, and even though we may have been the first state, we are quite “not first” (or even close) in many things!
