Thank u so much for watching. Already it is cooked in hot water. So after grinding we can make Papad & dry in fan. Even 2 hrs sun is enough. After that we can fry under fan
JASMINE K u can use cloth, but after drying for a day, next day u have to turn the cloth and sprinkle water at the bottom so that it separates from that. If u use plastic it will be easy and automatically it comes out. That is why I told plastic. Thank u so mych
Thank u so much. As the batter is thin , better to dry in plastic sheet. Many people informed me that they faced difficulty in removing the Papad from cloth
chitra bhaskar yes we can dry under the fan. But the weather should be ok. I don’t know where u stay, but in Bangalore somebody wrote that it didn’t dry properly. In hot summer it will be good as I prepared. Thank u so much for ur appreciation
@@RanjaniChandrasekharan we stay in Chennai only. Enough heat. Rooms hot. But don't get sufficient veyyil in balconies. So wl try drying inside room. By the way, may I know wr you stay, in video it was written Nagpur. So asked.
chitra bhaskar yes, I stay in Nagpur. It should not be a problem at Chennai. Because we r making it as a paste, it should dry properly. We don’t have any problem for sun at Nagpur. U may know. Anyway for the 1st 4 to 5 hrs it is dried means no problem. Then u can dry under fan and turn it on the next day.
Many people tried in cloth. But I got the negative comments from them. Because I have shown the recipe with grinding the Sabudana to a paste & papad comes out v thin. As the consistency is very thin it may stick to the cloth. But with plastic ( good sheet) this problem will not be there.
Thank you Mami. I'll make this tomorrow itself. Very nice. Looks good and tasty. Look forward to more of our traditional cooking recipes. Regards, Aruna Narayan Bangalore.
Thank you for sharing this lovely and simplified recipe. Very well explained with all relevant details. Please let me know how much salt you have added for this quantity to get an idea. I understand that it might be a little up or down according to preference but to get oru sumaar idea.

Normally in vadam it is better to add less salt , because after drying & while frying it tastes more. So better to be less. I have added 1/2 tsp.

@@RanjaniChandrasekharan Thank you for replying. Will try this recipe.
