I like the more resourceful and improvisional Wolf's Dragoons than the main clan. At least they learned to play nice. Also I started with Mechassault as my introduction to Battletech.
The problem with groups united under one ideal. Eventually all of the groups fight, thinking their interpretation is the right one. History repeats itself to the point of asking. Am i in one of the Circles of Hell and i just realized it?
FASA seemed to make Clan Wolf a little too perfect. (best mechs, above average mechwarriors, and the best playbook of all the clans) I know it was the vehicle to bring Battletech fans up to speed on the clans and bring past characters from the Inner Sphere into the fold in the form of Natasha Kerensky and Phelan Kell. It was nice to see they had their own "civil war" yet I am surprised at how many clan wolf warriors wanted to flee to the Inner Sphere to become the "in Exile" version of the clan. But that seem to start a trend for other clans to jump sides / become part of the houses.
+Mike George Like Davion the writers had their favourite and a side they could portray as the protagonists. I agree Wolf was way too good at everything ever. It's the main reason I don't like Clan Wolf. If I had to pick any clan it would snow raven simply because it is by comparison a smaller but more interesting clan.
Critical Rocket When the home clans came into the know, I too went with Clan Star Adder. More for their views on the main man being just that and not a god.
dont think they ever had the best mechs.. its just that the flagship mech for clans and battletech in general is oen of the few mechs exclusive to them (most clan wolf designs like the direwolf quickly reached the hands of other clans) And I like to think of clan worf as the one clan that doesn't take honor all the way to stupid town.. and that they owe a LOT of what they are to clan Wolverine, as many of their traits like adaptability, looser castes and respecting freebirth were first seen in clan Wolverine, and clan wolf adopted these traits after being the ones sent to annihilate them. Overall, I'd wish the clans in general were a little more like clan wolf rather than the other way around (ghost bear being a great exemple)
+healthyfire "I could do that, but I don't wanna" I wondered if it would be better to kill something first, throw that to the wolves and take the kill ;)
What was the name of the Clan tradition where POWs were treated well and eventually released as long as they worked hard and followed orders? Or could even join the Clan that caught them?
How did I get the right to the name Ken wolf? Well I kind of got lucky I was one of the five chosen three years ago. The other four my chosen were Elementals. When you have to take something from a wolf it doesn't hurt to have a genetically engineered two metter tall beast of your own...
I like mwo, better than Warhammer 40K. Mainly because 40k has gotten quite ridiculous. I mean for god's sake just kill the God emperor all ready. And make the mechanacus better.
I honestly don't know a hell of a lot about the universe outside of the usual obvious stuff. I thought the emperor was already dead essentially, it was just his psyker essence travelling the warp or some such.
The blood of Kerensky flows through Clan Wolf, the true successors of the Star League and the rightful heirs to Terra herself.
There is no rightful heir the right must be won by trial. This is the way, Seyla!
If you read up on the Lore, Clan Wolf does eventually become the Ilclan of the Reformed Star League and takes Terra, this all happens in 3151
clan wolf conquered terra in 3151

This clan allows freeborns which means they are against slavery and I love that
Jade Falcon clan, prepare for the wolf's bite!
You dare to underestimate the might of the Falcon's claws!?
The Wolf's bite is nothing but a nip compared to the crushing grip of a Falcon's talon.
The Wolf's teeth shall rend and tear the flappy bird!

How do you measure speed of clan wolf mechs?
In knots!
*bug dum tish* Nice :)

Mike George
Yeah the other clans are more fun.
Diamond Shark and Smoke Jaguar are my fav.

Dropped into the winter with only briefs? Imagine the female pilots. That must be an amazing sight.
Especially with those genetically perfect bodies according to the lore ;)
Critical Rocket Yeah!
Pilots? Imagine the female Elementals.
I think I could pass the steal the fresh wolf kill test
but I would be all cold and it would suck.
+healthyfire "I could do that, but I don't wanna" I wondered if it would be better to kill something first, throw that to the wolves and take the kill ;)
+Critical Rocket Heresy I say
I agree it is heresy , but its godamn clever.
My favorite Clan.
Khan Ward? oh yes boi

Well you had bondsmen, but others I am not sure about. I know you can claim some warriors as Isorla or salvage essentially.
@@CriticalRocket Yes, bondsmen. That's what it was called. Ty.
Hey Critical, Do you remember what book that Kinwolf steal a kill from a pack of wolves test came from? I am trying to find it.
