Excellent video. One question: I created several audiences in GA4 on 07/27 and everything linked to Google account without error. But today is 08/12 and all the audiences appear in Google at ZERO. And in GA,4 they already have a majority of almost 800-900 visitors. How can I solve??
Hello, thank you for the video. I was just wondering, following the instructions in the video, does it mean that the Ads will automatically bid using GA4 audiences? Or do you have to manually update that? If yes, do you have a video for this too? Thank you!
Hi guys - any chance you have a video (will do a video) about the scenario when GA4 and GAds are seemingly linked but the audiences aren't pulling over? Many thanks for your videos. Learning a lot!
All of the GA4 audience size metrics (in Google Ads) were 0 in your video. Even the 'All Users' which I imagine had been uploaded for some time. Is that still the case for you all? This is the problem I've been trying to solve. And it appears that you might have the same problem, although it wasn't addressed.
@@zmoginaite I just figured this out. Inside of GA4, under Data Settings > Data Collection, the first section titled 'Google signals data collection' needs to be toggled on. Hopefully this is the case for you as well. I went through a dozen or so Google help docs until I finally found this, lol.
Great Video! Question for you, when I created my audiences they are showing up in google ads as "not eligible due to a sharing, privacy or other policy issues" and also showing as incompatible. What is the cause for this and how can I still use that audience to retarget my website, visitors? Thanks for the help
Hello and thank you for your video. There is a lot of confusion whether it's best using ga4 imported conversions or google ads native conversions for optimisation purposes. Some advertisers suggest you should use both of them as primary conversions, some only google ads conversions as they have more data. Would it be possible to know what should be the best practice to follow especially as ecommerce conversions are converned? (purchase, leads, quotes...) Thank you for your possible kind reply.
We set up both. Then stick with the source that’s more inline with our CRM data. We’ve seen both be more accurate at some point. But lately it seems like GA4 conversions don’t match as close as using the Google Ads conversion tag.
Hi, i followed your step to Import audiences from GA4 to Google ads. but in Google ads the audience is showing this error - Not eligible due to a sharing, privacy, or other policy issue. How do i fix that?
It's most likely due to the industry that you're in. Google thinks you're breaking their personalized advertising policy. support.google.com/adspolicy/answer/143465. If you feel this doesn't apply to you, then I'd reach out to support.
What's the reason of creating audience in ga4 if u can create audience in Google ads. Secondly why we use google tag manager? How effectively we can gtm in this context

following your video, i am trying to make a custom audience for users who stayed longer than 30 seconds, but there does not seem to be a condition for it. The "time" condition is about date-year, not duration. am I missing something? how can I set a duration? thanks!
I believe "All users" and "Purchasers" are the only default audiences imported into Google Ads. The rest will have to go through the process we went through in the video.
Why does it say 'to small to serve' in Google Ads when you have 802 in the GA4 audience 'All users' (see 1:11)? I've have the same issues.

Haven’t run into that situation before. Might be hard to replicate for a video but we’ll keep our eyes open for this.

I have the same problem with the metrics and would like to know, how to solve it.

I've done this, and the audience is updating in GA4 but remains 0 in Google Ads. Any ideas why this might be?

you need to use Google Tag Manager for that.

Thank you for the great video! Super helpful !!!
Thanks for watching Joey!
Very useful and great information, thank you
Appreciate it!
Good video, super detailed
Thank you!
'Configure' now doesn't exist in GA4 (on the properties I manage anyway!)
